LOST WOODS
Link:fireball: 12:49 AM Link and his party can be heard rushing into the village in the dead of night. As always, the village is quiet and peaceful.
Irina:snowflake: 1:24 AM Irina was asleep but woke up when Saria rushed out of the house. The barmaid sit up in the bed, wearing her white underdress and looking around with a very sleepy face in the darkness. She gets up and lights a candle. Where did Saria go?
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 1:30 AM Mel lifts back his cloak hood as they enter deeper into the forest, his eyes scanning every shadow behind every tree without him even thinking about it. As they approached the small tree village, he relaxed a bit, allowing himself to slouch back down into his saddle a bit and watched the small clouds of fireflies dance between the tree branches, casting a small ambient glow around the entire area.
As he rode, the pendant around his neck grew warm, warning of danger to his ward's little sister. Using the movement of readjusting his cloak to cover his hand, he slid the pendant between the layers of his tunic
They will have to protect themselves this time, but they are able
Shura:crab: 2:55 PM Shura kept moveing with the group sticking close to link and kenta his arms crossed as he walked if he dident fallow the group he would for sure get lost. He however dident like the omnious air that came where they came from it burned his nose as he drew his pipe once more takeing a drag seeing the village letting out a soft sigh. this village seemed odd to shura seeing as it was much difrent from kakariko the forest being a much safer place then out in the feilds
Irina:snowflake: 5:13 PM Irina opened the door of the house just to find Saria laying on the grass. Quickly blowing the candle, she crouches down to examine the Forest Sage. She seemed to be fine, but really exhausted.
Picking up the child in her arms, Irina brings her inside, carefully setting her on her bed. Saria then seems to fall into a very deep sleep.
What could have happened? Irina looks outside for a moment. It's dark, way darker than usual.
Kentas 2:32 PM Kentas casually strolled back into familiar territory, however he couldn't help but catch a small amount of carnage coming from outside the woods when Link broke the barrier and let them in.
As he gazed from the entrance he saw how everything was the same as it always was, it was dark and peaceful. Kentas gazed to the rest of the group, "Well! We better rest here before pushing through the forest. It is too dangerous right now."
LexaAPP 6:20 PM Under Kentas' hat Lexa's wings start ringing like crazy!
She flutters out of Kentas cap and taps his forehead.
"I think something bad has happened!"
Link:fireball: 1:05 AM Like Kentas, Link takes a moment to stop and admire the peaceful village of the Kokiri. It's his home, too, afterall. He was expecting to see Saria there but she wasn't. Strange. He looks towards her round house and then up to his own home, noting that there is a light on. He looks back to the party and is about to say something but a distant roar is heard. He says in a soft voice, trying not to wake the Kokiri, "Kentas is right. Let's set up camp here for the night but please do not wake the children of the forest." He looks to Kentas, addressing the Kokiri, "Let's sleep here tonight so that the rest of the Kokiri know that these are friends and are not afraid." He motions to a clearing in the middle of the town.
After he speaks he climbs the ladder to his home and carefully looks inside. Exactly two seconds later he quickly scrambles down the ladder with the expression he has seen a ghost. He nervously says, "I, uh, will gather supplies tomorrow." not wanting to address whatever he saw there.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:20 AM Mel nods at Link's words and climbs off his horse, leading it to the clearing. Unstrapping the saddle and laying it on the ground, he grabs his sleeping roll and nudges a few sticks out of his way before laying it out. He lays his sword and shield across the saddle on the ground on the other side of his horse, out of reach of his sleeping spot so it was obvious he wouldn't grab it if approached. He then laid down on his sleeping roll, no sooner had he pulled his cloak hood over his head and he was fast asleep. His horse laid against him downwind of him as it was trained, using its own scent to block its riders from any night time predators.
Kentas 2:27 PM Kentas gazes up to Lexa and gives an nod of agreement, "I think so.. but we should stay here where it safe for now! I hope the others are ok." Turning back to the group, Kentas strikes a prideful pose, trying to give the others a sense of comfort as he grins cheerily.
"Well~ I dunno about you guys, maybe you want to sleep out in the dirt, but I have a home you can all sleep in if you want! And what about your home Link?.. Wait nevermind!" He quickly stops as he notices the light too.
HeronAPP 2:30 PM The Zora would have been in bed by now, but found himself stuck outside with the knowledgeable brothers chatting about tricks and hacks that they have discovered to make their lives easier, trying to pass so much of that information onto Heron. He had unfortunately felt like he was mashing some sort of dialogue button to try and make it skip, words like, "Yep." and, "Uh-huh." Spitfiring out of Herons mouth.
As he glances to the entrance, he notices the new party arrive, more new people accompanying one person he could recognize, Link. He wasn't going to run off in the middle of the brothers but was certainly feeling more urgent to finish their tutorial.
Link:fireball: 1:14 AM Meanwhile, a low roar is heard in the distance. The noise slowly intensifies but never getting loud. Those not used to the forest might think it is wind moving the trees of the Lost Woods but the air is still and the sound is like anything Link has ever heard. He gets up and walks over to Saria's house with a look of concern, knocking gently on the door. Something is definitely not right.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 11:56 AM Mel stirs slightly, unable to sleep. The ground was lush and comfortable, as far as ground went. No, thus was something else troubling him. Petri was with Sayah and the others in town, and the amulet was still warm to the touch, almost hot. They shouldn't be in danger for that long. Throughout his entire body he can feel the ground beneath him vibrating as if in protest, for as to why, he could not figure out. Honing in on his trained hearing, he listens to the sounds around him. Lighter, more frequent footfalls of the smaller Kokiri pattered everywhere, Link's soft leather boots could be heard in the grass heading away from the party.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 12:02 PM Leaves falling through the air almost silent, landing gently on the ground. Forest animals scampering across limbs, through bushes, rustles of grass here and there. A small wind instrument a fair distance away, its notes distorted somehow before they reached his ears. Underneath all the sounds, one was constant. A rumbling hum of sorts, coursing through and permeating everything. The ground, trees, flowers, even the air itself seemed to be fighting against something unnatural. Mel's eyes snapped open under his hood, he realised he had a white knuckled grip on the carved Deku branch bow stave. Relaxing himself, he instead simply listened to what was happening him in the tree village
Irina:snowflake: 12:28 AM Irina jumps up, still in her white underdress and barefoot, and quickly grabs her spear. She goes next to the door but doesn't open it, holding the spear with both hands and ready to attack if somebody decided to break in. "Who is it?" she asks, not too loud but loud enough for somebody outside to hear.
SariaAPP 12:29 AM It's hard to tell whether Saria is unconscious or just sleeping. Regardless, she is still in the bed, unaware of anything that's happening in around her.
Link:fireball: 12:38 AM Link hears an unexpected voice, but a familiar one nevertheless. "Ir...ina? It's Link. Where is Saria??" he answers with a hushed but surprised tone.
Irina:snowflake: 12:44 AM No answer is heard for a few seconds. “Can you prove you are the real Link?” She finally replies.
Link:fireball: 12:49 AM Link is caught off guard. He replies, "Give me a Calatian fabada and I will prove I have the real Link's appetite." He touches the door, " Come on. I just spoke to Saria and she let us in the forest but now she isn't responding."
Irina:snowflake: 9:47 AM Irina sighs relieved, even with a small smile at his answer. She sets the spear aside and unlocks the door, opening it and letting Link in. "I don't know what happened but she's resting. Whatever it was she did seemed to drain her energy."
Shura:crab: 6:46 PM Shura looked on at the village sitting by one of the tree houses he dident know who whos but he was staying outside it should be fine enough. The howl however in the distance perked his intrest for a moment he wondered what made it, if it got closer he may investigate it after the luck shura had recently he wouldent doubt another monster no big deal to him.
Shura waited and scoofed as he heard nothing he sat injoying his herbal smokeing mix relaxing and letting the smell of the forest fill his lungs " its qwiet here .. peacefull "
NoabAPP 6:06 PM Noab can't believe his luck. >.U
A stock assessment some time earlier had shown that the supply of ale in the Crimson Wolfos was getting low. Apparently local suppliers weren't able to fulfill their usual orders. Probably came of the hard times that are inevitable when your country's in the de facto rule of a mad tyrant. >P Well, Noab wasn't going to let something like that ruin the inn's reputation for supplying thirsty travelers with what they need. He sent a worker with orders to acquire ten barrels, even if it meant bringing them back from foreign parts.
Well, the supply caravan came back today while Noab was out on an errand, and he returned to find out that the knucklehead he sent to make the purchase misinterpreted the order. In context of what they'd been discussing, of course Noab meant ten barrels of ale, right? But since the order slip just said 'barrels', that's all this guy had bought -- empty barrels! And somehow the number had gotten smudged enough that he mistook it for 100! ONE-HUNDRED EMPTY BARRELS!!! *.U The cellar of the Crimson Wolfos is now practically jam-packed with useless containers that have nary a drop of saleable spirits! The only reason Noab doesn't fire the nincompoop who brought them here is then he couldn't take it out of his pay! >.U
And to add insult to injury, while they were down there shoving barrels into every corner it was discovered that the support beams attaching the wooden structure to its stone foundation have been nearly chewed through. Trails from broad, flat tails in the mud of the escape tunnel tell a tale of beavers having come in and out that way. Why in the name of Farore's green earth would they come in here, mostly chew away the beams, and then just leave? Did the creaking of the structure scare them away before they could finish their ill-conceived job? Weird that they did it to all the beams at the same time if so. At any rate, Noab was steeling himself to make the hard announcement that the inn is unsafe for habitation and will have to be shut down until further notice. X( How could this day possibly get any --
-- and then the catastrophies struck.
It was all a bit of a blur. Noab shouted orders and people scurried to places of relative safety about the building, but it was like putting up a tent to hide from an avalanche. There was a thunderous sloshing, and a brittle but loud SNAP from below, and suddenly the world was pitching and whirling about them as though they were a leaf in a gale.
When the wild ride finally settles into a gentle rocking motion, and the inhabitants of the inn come to terms with the fact they are in fact not dead, they creep to the doors and windows to find out what's going on. They discover that they are in the midst of an ocean, and the Crimson Wolfos Inn is now a huge house-boat.
...Noab can't believe his luck. @.U

LOST WOODS
Link:fireball: 1:19 AM Link runs to the forest sage's side and kneels before her. He watches her sleeping peacefully and then stands to face Irina again, "Listen..." he says softly. The roaring din is intensifying and distant animals can be heard, but it is clearly the dead of night. Link's concern suggests that this is not normal.
Irina:snowflake: 1:31 PM Irina listens. She's not familiar with the noises that can be heard at night in the forest but understands that these seem unusual. With a concerned look she replies to Link, "What should we do?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 4:48 PM Mel sits up, unable to sleep. The constant sound and feeling rattling about his skull is preventing any sort of peace. Instead he sits up, removing his boots and grabs his bow stave and begins walking around the village barefoot. Seeing a group of Kokiri children at the base of an apple tree attempting to snag some of the lower hanging fruit with a mixture of tossing small stones and sticks. He approaches and sets one end of the thick bowstaff against the base of a thick branch and gives a quick shove, shaking a large grouping of branches and causing all the ripe apples to plummet to the soft grass. Swiping one up from the ground, he sends a sly sideways wink to the group of children before taking a hearty bite out of the crisp reddish yellow apple and walking away aimlessly.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 5:05 PM Wandering slowly through the grass, he takes a deep breath and lets the scent of the forest rush through him, capturing all the essences carried by the wind. Dirt recently turned over in preparation for a crop to be planted; flowers mixing in the gentle breeze, almost hiding the sharp smell of smoke and... salt?
Shura:crab: 5:33 PM Shura chuckled watching the acher mel whacking the tree shakeing his head as the swarm of small kokiri swarmed him hs however liked to stay alittle fadther away while so soon after haveing to use his beserk state the time he was worryed he may have hurt any of his comrades though it seemed he dident though the smell of the area just smelled odd to him it made him shiver for a moment " do i smell sea water? " shuras head emediatly fell to his clothes .... no that wasent it.. strange.
he made note of where the other warrior went earlyer and began to walk over dusting himself off looking to the houses not knowong what one link was in and this late at night he wasent going to just barge in despite the voice from within the blade told him the exact opposite ... (edited)
EsavaAPP 10:53 PM "Any of this look familiar?" Esava asks his trusty sidekick in Tommy Twiggins, looking over Kokiri Forest in the darkness. "I thought we were supposed to be headed back home. A part of me was even a bit excited for that. But turns out we're somewhere else. In some sort of forest." The dark-skinned figure assesses the quaint little township: the carefully placed rocks, the neatly kept gardens, the idle stream running through the middle. It was all very fairytale-esque.
"This is sort of like the Swamp." If the swamp had a rainbow of positivity and excitement injected into it, anyways.
Torgem 10:53 PM Torgem is just sleeping in his hut. Soft, idle snores can be heard as the big goron dreams his worries away.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 11:51 PM As Mel walks, he notices he is following his staff. A small vibration can be felt in the ancient wood, stronger when pointed in one direction over another. Walking around, he has slowly meandered while unconsciously going towards where the staff hummed the most intently, the base of a large tree with a sizable hut in it. Peering up into the branches, he sees a dim lantern inside, and hears faint voices talking curtly. One is a female, and the other a familiar young male's voice
Link:fireball: 12:34 AM Link is overcome with a feeling of helplessness. The groaning sounds surrounding the forest are unmistakably some dark magic. He replies to Irina, "Wait here..." and then he runs disappearing into the night.
Not more than a few minutes pass before Link is heard screaming in the distance. His words are undecipherable but they ring across the village. He finally emerges, soaked, and hysterical. "High ground! Everyone to higher ground! It's a flood!" He is as excited as he is confused by whatever he just experienced in the lost woods.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:19 AM At the sound of Link's raised voice, Mel wraps his leg behind the bow, using his upper body to bend the powerful staff and quickly fits a string onto the bow, then takes off at a fast sprint to the rest of his equipment where his quiver and sword lay. As Link re-emerges from the trees soaked and speaks of a flood, Mel only grows more confused. A flood? How?
"What do you mean by a flood? There is no rain."
TommyAPP 10:20 PM Tommy snorts. "Wot, y'think I might've been 'ere on 'oliday last June? 'Course it ain't familiah. That'd be like me expectin' ya t'know your way around th'fortress th'moment we got theah because your 'ome wos a desert too." :P Tommy reaches out to touch one of the undulating trails of faintly glowing specks in the air, causing it to scatter. "Wot're those things, bugs? Baby fairies playin' Follow th'Leadah? Pollen wi' a mind of its own?" c.c
And then Link comes back yelling for everyone to get to high ground. Whelp, Tommy isn't one to stand about asking questions when survival's on the line. +.+ He immediately casts about for upward terrain and spots the hills leading up to the Lost Woods. "Sounds like it's about t'be a lot MORE like th'Swamp, mate!" Tommy quips, starting to climb.
Irina:snowflake: 3:02 PM Irina hears Link screaming and runs out of the house. Once she finds the hero, she quickly moves up to him. "Link? What's going on?" She watches him and holds his arms, He's the one to usually stay calm, so seeing him hysterical only makes her more concerned while she tries to figure out what is going on. "Please calm down... What did you see? There is no water in the woods..." Except for the little pond that filters from Zora's Domain, of course.
Shura:crab: 12:19 AM Shura shrugged not really knowing what to do seeing link run off and return soaked screaming to head to higher ground the only higher ground would be in the treetops shura shook his head a flood this deep into the forest how? "A flood!?" Shura scratched his head looking at the others " link please explain in alittle more detail"
Link:fireball: 12:32 AM Link is soaking wet. For those who have experienced the sea, he unmistakably carries the scent of sea water. In fact, a dark salty brine fills the air.
He tries his best to remain calm but reiterates, "Follow me. We must get to higher ground." He runs into Saria's house and scoops up the sage, then heads up to a ledge overlooking the Kokiri Village. Trees can be heard snapping now in the distance and a strange roar grumbles all around. Several Kokiri children groggily emerge from their huts in the darkness and follow their Hylian brother into the woods.
AnanAPP 3:14 AM Anan howls a raspy howl. The giant skulltula fells a few trees with a swipe of his legs and wraps them together with his web.
He climbs high above the tree trops and drags the logs towards the main entrance to the Kokiri forest to block it.
Afterwards Anan enters the Kokiri forest and connects all the houses to the upper ledge with webbing. Just in case.
LeithAPP 3:35 AM Leith's fur bristles and she leaves Esava and Tommy. She paws her way up a tree to find Anan.
She finds the skulltula perched on a branch over looking the Kokiri Village.
She finds herself a seat next to him and licks her paw.
"What's going on?"
AnanAPP 3:47 AM Anan takes a break from watching over the village.
"The three have flooded the world, to save it from Dragmire. Worry not your sisters are safe, Sayah should be here soon, when the flood water calms. Until then, you may stay here."
LeithAPP 4:02 AM "It's lucky i decided to follow the dark one then! I should remember to thank him." Leith says mostly to herself.
"We'll have to meet with my other sisters, to talk about this. Goodnight Anan."
Leith climbs down the tree and meets up with Esava greeting him and Tommy with a "Meow!"
EsavaAPP 5:44 AM "Great." Esava replies dully to Tommy's quip about the swamp. Truthfully he wasn't a big fan of the swamp. Being from the desert and all, he had grown accustomed to a certain dryness in the air. Regardless, in a similar vein to the deku scrub, he follows.
"You stink of salt." The man comments to Link, noting his unique scent on top of his obvious wetness. The distant roar is ominous, of that there is little doubt. Yet he tries to keep himself calm, making way to higher ground.
Irina:snowflake: 9:08 AM Irina quickly goes to get Mipha, Revali, Heron, and whoever is still in the village and helps them get wherever is taking them. She recognizes the scent of the ocean, which only makes her more confused. Wait, is that Esava? That is the last person Irina expected to see here, even less with Link. She only gives their former enemy a quick, confused look before helping some of the Kokiri follow Link to a safe place.
Link:fireball: 10:29 AM Link can sense the forest reacting to the magic that is undoubtedly engulfing Hyrule at this moment. The extent is unknown, but Link senses powerful magic at work. As the crowd begins to gather on the plateau looking over the village Link begins to speak, "I didn't venture far. I couldn't. The forest and everything that I could see beyond it was engulfed in dark violent water. I could see the moonlight clear across the horizon reflected on the water. I couldn't see anything else." His voice is full of self-doubt.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 1:40 PM "Right, well im not one to argue with a half drowned man." Mel states, throwing his boots back on and tossing his saddle over the back of his horse. Taking a deep breath he begins bellowing in his loudest yard training voice, his words echoing around the trees so his voice could be heard clearly throughout the village.
"Everyone, its time to wake up, gather only the essential things you need the most. There is an incoming flood and we need to move to higher ground. Once you leave your house, check your neighbors house to make sure everyone is awake and safe. When you are ready, meet here in the clearing. We leave in ten minutes."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 1:48 PM He then removes an arrow from his quiver and uses a length of leather to tie a bundle of Deku nuts to the shaft. Aiming the arrow straight up, he closes his eyes and chants.
"Moonless night, guiding light, Eleven shooting stars, Burst and burn bright"
Releasing the bow string, the arrow shoots far into the night sky, then bursts in a show of bright light that stays in one place, lighting up most of the village so that everyone could see as if they were under the noon sun.

Shura:crab: 6:38 PM Shura saw everyone take up to the higher areas as he fallowed suit watching as the archer mel shoots up his magical shot the brightness of the sun like light stuned shura for a moment shifting his gaze moveing doen to the nearest ledge to sit on it and watch the lower area how bad would this flood be who the hell even had this much magical power to flood these lands ...... shura was begining to think he may have brought bad luck or maybe these lands were the bad luck ...
Kentas 10:16 PM Kentas was cleaning out his house of junk, pushing aside the amount of broken tools and tattered fabrics. He was getting ready to turn in for the night when suddenly the sound of shouts could be heard from Link, followed by a startling light.
Kentas dashed outside, only to charge at the homes near his, he pushed the Kokiri neighbors with urgency, "C'mon! We gotta get higher before we are swept away by this flood!"
Radella zoomed off to warn the other fairies who might not know what is going on. Before long, Kentas managed to get a decent few of his neighbors up to the Lost Woods entrance near everyone else. "This is insane, why would a flood happen now? Where is all the water coming from?" His little voice curiously pondered.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 12:53 AM Dropping the bow to his side, he whistles a shrill signal to his horse, and leads it over to a small cart. The large trained horse would have no problem carrying it even laden with supplies, no bigger than a normal garden hand cart. After trying the horse off, he point up the hill and clicks his tongue in a pattern, signaling the horse to move up the hill and wait for him. He then stood in the center of the village on a tall stump, watching to make sure there were no stragglers left behind on accident.
Fi-botAPP 12:00 PM This scene has been inactive for a while, so I nudged the following characters: Melkibren, Kentas, Shura, Link, Irina, Esava, Anan
Irina:snowflake: 5:31 PM Irina does not understand what is going. A flood, day in the middle of the night... She decides she needs to see this flood with her own eyes and climbs the hill to the entrance of the Lost Woods.
She comes back after a few minutes, also soaked and confused. "This makes no sense... The forest is flooded with sea water. There isn't even an ocean in Hyrule," she points out, especially for the Terminians in the group. "And the water level is not raising or decreasing, for some reason." As day breaks and the rooster can be heard in the distance, Irina looks at Link. "Should we try to get to the field?" The barrier should be gone now, hopefully.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 1:43 AM Mel lands lightly on the ground nearby, having climbed a tree to get a better vantage spot.
"Im not sure how to tell you this lass, but I do believe Hyrule is an ocean now. A lot of things have gone very badly, and very quickly. But im sure we all know the root of this problem. Things aren't going to get much better for a while I think. Best we do what we can to solve this problem, whatever it may be. We might even be able to find answer along the way."
Shura:crab: 11:38 AM " warrior kenta .... do you think that man gannon is behind this flood somehow? If so that man has some power ....." shura wasent sure of his words he however knew that the red haired man would eventualy cross his path again " next we meet i will chalange him hahahaha " he laughed in a billowing laugh not really careing or aware of what he was going to do he would probaly die.... but a good death awaits him in battle !
Kentas 2:40 PM "Who knows Shura! He did look mighty strong and menacing when he passed us by in the fields. We shouldn't underestimate him.. especially if he can bring about this kind of power!" Kentas spoke with concern as he placed a hand under his chin.
Kentas strolls around, checking the rest of the Kokiri before turning to the group, "Well as long as we don't get swept away, we will be alright?.. right?"
TommyAPP 8:22 AM Tommy peers through the passage to the Lost Woods. c.c "Sea water, eh...nevah liked th'stuff much. Hard t'get a propah wet outta it, too much briny stuff t'filtah out." Tommy turns back and peers upward. "So, uh, is nobody else goin' t'mention th'giant crawlah?" o.o; Not that Tommy has too much to worry about personally, spiders probably don't much like wooden prey...but still...
LeithAPP 1:34 PM The cat strolls up to Tommy. "He's harmless, well not really... he won't eat you all.. maybe..."
AnanAPP 1:35 PM Anan lets out a wispy laugh before crawling higher into the trees.
EsavaAPP 5:22 PM "Am I to understand that we are now stuck in this forest? Surrounded by sea water like an island?" The dark-skinned figure shuffles a little at that, seemingly uneasy by the situation. Even the giant spider above he and Tommy doesn't seem to bother him! The cat was right. Maybe if it was left unbothered it wouldn't hurt them.
"I never learned to swim." Esava admits with a grimace. An embarrassing flaw. But he's from the desert. Where is he going to learn to swim?!
Torgem 5:26 PM Torgem is still sleeping. So tired was he from this adventure to the forest that he managed to sleep through the entire flood! So there he sits in the hut, curled up into a rocky ball. Snoring away in the protected forest that houses the eternal children.
Irina:snowflake: 5:40 PM Irina does not take Melkibren's news well, although she does not externalize her reaction much, other than looking completely powerless.
She looks at the entrance that leads to the field, wondering what other places have managed to survive. "Teaching you how to swim is not a problem," she replies to Esava -- maybe the first words she has directed to him after their fight back in Termina, and strangely enough, they are kind ones. "But we need to find out who needs help out there, and if there is any way to reverse this situation."
"I am going to see if Kakariko, the ranch, and the Wolfos are still there. I will be back," She could prepare herself better for swimming, but she doesn't, and just heads towards Hyrule Field... or where it used to be.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:57 PM "Take care, leave word of yourself wherever you go, we will find you when the time is right."
Mel then turns to Link.
"Ill go where you need me, but you have a choice to make. Continue to Termina or fix what's wrong here. Things will unfold either way, whatever you choose. I say we get this village secured and make up our mind while we do that."
Without waiting for a reply, Mel turns away and begins barks order here and there, telling this group to continue to the higher area, telling another to leave the crops, they can be replanted. One group needed a stern reminding to only grab essentials and not everything in their house, which left them scurrying away from the "tall angry old man"
HeronAPP 11:58 AM "I'll stay and help, if you need anything or should the flood get worse for these woods!" Heron roared out to the group to let them know such a strong dependable Zora was here to help.
He hoped for Irina's safety by bowing and clasping his hands together. Heron didn't know where to go with Hyrule being flooded and he wouldn't have a clue where to go aside from following Irina about, might as well make himself useful to the group here in the village.
Link:fireball: 12:41 AM There is an old wooden fence near the highest part of the village. Link begins pulling planks off of the fence and arranges them on the ground, tying them together to form a flat surface. Before long, he has crafted a small makeshift raft that can fit a tiny army of adults.
He has been very quiet, just observing and moving quickly, but he finally speaks up. "Irina, please be careful." He turns to Melkibren and the others, but also still addressing Irina, "I don't know what this magic is. It seems too powerful to be Ganondorf. I don't doubt his power but I also don't think his intention was to conquer the land just to destroy it. This must be the triforce becoming unstable... I can feel it." He looks to his hand before tying together the last planks.
He stands on the now barren ledge over the village and is about to hop off, but before he does he says, "Irina, we will follow you on this raft to the Wolfos and to Kakariko to look for survivors. A few hours ago I was convinced that we needed to go to Termina but now I'm not even sure we can reach the portal in the forest since most of it is under water." At that he jumps down and rolls, quickly going to his home, and then emerging with a thick sheet. He hoists a long wooden pole and fastens together a sail. With an audible struggle he lifts the raft and begins to drag it towards the forest and presumably the sea that now covers Hyrule. "All able bodies are welcome to join me."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:30 AM At Link words, Mel let loose another shrill whistle, a few seconds later his horse galloped to his side. Taking the saddle bags and tack off, he pats the trained chargers neck and whispers
"We will meet again friend"
Before sending the horse off with a smack on its haunches. Grabbing the other side of the raft with Link, he begins following. While walking he grabs handfuls off black and red berries and puts them in a side pouch on his travel pack
Irina:snowflake: 12:41 PM Irina helps Link drag the raft towards the entrance of the forest and through the tunnels. It takes a while to get it over the grass and eventually the bridge, but they manage to make it out of the forest. Where Hyrule used to be there is nothing, or at least nothing that can be seen at night. The moon reflects on the water that reaches to their feet and as far as they can see in the darkness. It's all gone. Irina is visibly affected by the sight, her face showing a mix of disbelief and hopelessness. After taking a deep breath, she talks to Link. Her voice shakes a bit. "I can make a path for everybody, with ice. But a path... to where?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:43 PM "From my understanding, the Wolfos is able to take care of its self for the most part. The villagers at Kakariko may not be as lucky. Plus if Sayah is there, she may be able to help in some way. She most likely knows what has happened."
EsavaAPP 4:49 PM "I would like it very much if I were not left behind here." Esava replies to Link, surveying the landscape of... well, ocean. Dark ocean. Something as terrifying as it is wondrous. "We'll come on the raft and journey to where-ever you wish to go."
The bark-skinned figure looks down at his partner in crime.
"Isn't that right, Tommy? Looks like we're not going back home after all." Bummer.
LeithAPP 5:57 PM Leith trots over and stares at the makeshift raft dubiously.
She slinks back over to Esava and hops up om his shoulder.
"If you're going on that rinky-dink raft i'll come too. You seem to be good luck so far."
TommyAPP 4:51 PM Tommy glances down at Leith. "...A talkin' cat. Sure, why not. Ain't th'corkiest thing we've seen." =.=; Tommy hops onto the raft, adding his small but non-zero weight to the burden of those dragging it. "Dunno whethah t'be chuffed about not goin' home or glad th'trip heah wosn't wasted aftah all. Don't make much mold eithah way to wot we're doin', though. Onward!" Tommy points commandingly out to sea. >:|
AnanAPP 7:00 PM High above, Anan weaves nets and drops them in a bundle for the party near the raft.
LeithAPP 7:21 PM Leith points a paw at the bundle. "See told you! Anan is a friend!.. Well to me anyway... take those nets! I want fish!"
LexaAPP 9:57 PM Lexa nudges Kentas' head.
"What are we gonna do? Are we going with them?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 12:34 PM Mel reaches down with one arm and grabs the back of Kentas' tunic and hoists him onto the raft, already knowing his answer to Lexa. Grabbing the saddle bags he had brought with he then ties them to the mast and then looks towards Anan.
"Could I bother you to make a few loops around the center post here, enough for each person to have one? Waters might be rough and we don't want to lose anyone overboard."
He then walks into the woods edge, gathering large fronds and leaves and begins coating the deck of the raft, using sap to secure the leaves and seal the cracks to prevent water from seeping through the timbers. (edited)
Link:fireball: 12:44 AM Link pushes the raft off after gathering the nets that the mysterious spider dropped. The ragtag group of newly minted sailors move through churning black water, the tops of the trees are like knotty reeds that rise about and make navigation difficult. The green tunic wearing warrior carefully pushes an oar into the water, guiding the watercraft out of the forest and in the direction of where the Wolfos is, or was. Kakariko should be just further out from there. As they break out of the forest the moon begins to illuminate the landscape more. There are distant objects in the horizon.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 4:43 PM Mel pulls a spyglass out of his pack and begins scanning the horizon, equally keeping an eye out for danger as well as surveying the new landscape. Or lack thereof. Small clusters of land that were high enough to not be flooded completely, floating wreckage scattered about the waves, tumbling and bobbing in and out of sight. The night air was oddly calm, a gentle breeze and nothing more. Handing the spyglass up to Link, he settles down leaning against the mast.
"Land looks destroyed mostly, what wasn't swept away by the water probably won't be seen by a long time unless you're a Zora. What was carried off is now floating for now. Food will mostly be ruined and scarce. Might be able to salvage supplies that are floating, might find something useful along the way." (edited)
Link:fireball: 12:41 AM Link stands next to Melkibren, scanning the horizon. His face is solemn and he is mostly silent, obviously affected by everything he is seeing. Is this really Hyrule?
He points when he sees something that looks like... a structure, floating off in the distance. He grabs the sail and catches a breeze to move the makeshift ship in the direction of the moon. Whatever it is, it is bobbing about in the waves, perhaps not something that should be floating but it is. He calls out to Irina, "Could it be?!"
Shura:crab: 12:49 PM Shura however took a while longer he too makeing a makeshift raft though smaller for himself to fallow the group just behind them no use if his rage or the demon to get out of hand around so many on a raft in the middle of this new ocean called hyrule he stayed qwiet and for the most part keeping a fair but not too far distance from the group he felt that somehow all this bad luck may be due to him around and if so he would be dealing with the bad luck being by himself ... mostly.
Link this warrior he seems strong but something about the green clad hyllian put the demon on edge funny due to it being trapped in a blade .
NoabAPP 7:17 PM
- musical_note: Whey-hey, up she rises, whey-hey, up she rises, whey-hey, up she rises, earligh in the mor-nang... :musical_note:
Noab isn't inclined to join in the sea shanty that spread through the "crew" of the now-seagoing Crimson Wolfos Inn, but he doesn't stop it either. e.U It's good for morale that people can find something to sing about in this situation. Noab just wishes the bard were here, half of this lot seem to be tone-deaf and almost none of them apparently know more than the chorus and maybe one verse. :P
"Ship ahoy!"
The call comes down from the lookout stationed on the roof. He'd asked to bring a barrel up there to act as a crow's nest, but considering barrels are what's keeping them alive right now, Noab was even less interested in indulging such frivolity than usual. >P The lookout comes scrambling down the stairs, all eyes on him. "Which way?" Noab asks the obvious question. "Um, three points off the...is it starboard or port? Actually, which way is forward even, we should put up one of those things they have on the front of ships so -- " "JUST POINT!" >.U The lookout meekly indicates a general southward direction.
Noab doesn't bother trying to get to one of the windows that people are suddenly crowding around, his old eye probably wouldn't be able to see anything anyway. "Right, time to see if we can get any mobility." Noab signals to the few Zora employees of the inn, and they file out the door with ropes coiled over their shoulders. After lashing the ropes to the outer structure, they begin to swim toward the unidentified raft. It's slow going as there's just a few of them pulling on a big building, but the Crimson Wolfos does gradually pick up some momentum.

Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:08 PM Mel sits casually against the makeshift mast, eating a few of the berries he had pick earlier when something odd catches his eye. He reaches behind him and blindly swats Link's ankle and the pointing. The mass they were heading towards had apparently started to move... Towards them! Scrambling up, he quickly drops his quiver on the deck of the raft and scoops up a few arrows in the same hand he holds his bow. Braced against the waves with his legs forming an odd triangle, he holds the bow horizontally. His bow could reach great range, but the moving mass was still a bit out of his reach.
Kentas 11:12 AM Kentas can't help but sit at the edge of the raft, his feet dunked in the endless pool of water, he had no worries apart from the fact that his home might be ruined.
He merely talked to Lexa and Radella, "Hey.. what do you think caused this guys?" He hummed, kicking the water as the raft headed towards a strange structure on the horizon, yet that structure came to them too!
LexaAPP 1:53 PM "I don't know, i think great fairy Sayah would know, but i can't feel her at all, see how my wings are ringing?"
ring ring
"Hey Leith, do you know what's going on with Sayah?"
LeithAPP 1:56 PM Leith yawns. "Probably the same thing that's happened to me, we're stuck in these bodies. I should get to a fountain soon."
Leith moves away from Esava and closer to the edge of the raft with Kentas.
Irina:snowflake: 5:18 AM Irina has been traveling with the group, sometimes on the raft with them and sometimes in the water. Her eyes open wide when Link points at the mass in the distance. Could it be the Wolfos? Well, believe it or not, it is! She jumps into the water, swimming towards the structure and climbing once she reaches it.
"Mr. Noab!" Irina says to her former boss with a grin, "How...?" She will never understand how the Wolfos seems to miraculously survive all disasters, one way or another.
EsavaAPP 5:27 AM Esava is on the raft, but... he's struggling. He's a man born on the desert sands; used to catching dry winds in his hair. Certainly not rocking back and forth on a raft. As a result, a great majority of his time is spent on the corner of the floatation device, looking rather green around the edges. "Bleahhh."

NoabAPP 9:02 PM "Mermaid ahoy!" the lookout calls out jovially. ;) There are laughs and cheers as others at the windows recognize who is meant by 'mermaid'. Willing hands help Irina up the front steps of the establishment and into the tavern. Noab tries to disguise a relieved grin as a bemused smirk. >l "Well, that's one person of interest accounted for. How? A hundred empty barrels, that's how. It'd be a long debrief, but we just so happened to be flood-ready." Noab shakes his head. "I'll tell ya, I believed in the goddesses before, but I never thought about 'em much. Maybe I oughta change that." C.U
Noab clears his throat. "But anyway, we should be trading intel! Who's with you on that craft? Where'd you come from? Need any supplies?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:38 PM Seeing Irina swim right at the floating structure, Mel tosses his bow back over his shoulder and sticks his arrows back in his quiver. Settling down against the mast post again, he simply watches, spotting flotsam bobbing about the waves, mostly watching the giant floating... Tavern?
LeithAPP 12:16 AM Leith, unimpressed by the floating tavern, lies down next to Kentas and licks her paws.
Turning to face Esava she meows.
"Hey desert man! Stop being sick and find me a fish please."
Irina:snowflake: 4:00 AM Irina can't help but laughing at the mermaid references. Hugs are given to all her old coworkers, including a tight one to Mr. Noab, whether he likes it or not.
Barrels? "That's... incredible. But not surprising," she adds with a grin, before looking in the direction of the raft. "We were at the Kokiri Forest when everything happened..." Whatever that was. As Irina explains, her grin is replaced with concern about the situation. "Link is there, along with a group of people both from Hyrule and Termina. Mostly warriors. We were trying to find survivors and see what was left of Hyrule."
EsavaAPP 5:48 AM Esava vomits over the side and into the sea.
Shura:crab: 9:38 AM Out of all the things he saw these days just another odd acurance he dare not try and explain hia mask covered face still showed some slight confusion as he sailed closer to the floating building held up by something oh well like a floating tavern was odd by this point. he needed a good stiff drink.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:38 PM Mel chuckles at Evasa heaving overboard. Getting up with a sigh, he moves to the edge of the raft and grabs his bow and an arrow. Unraveling a bit of rope, he grabs a few smaller strands and twists them together, tying one end of the string just above the fletching on his arrow. Wrapping the other end around the toe of his boot a few times, he plants his feet on the rolling deck and notches the arrow. Keeping his knees bent slightly so he can adjust for the pitching of the deck, he sights in on a large fish and looses the arrow, the shaft disappearing into the water for a moment before the fletching bobs back into view.
Grabbing the string wrapped around his boot, he pulls the fish in, using his field knife to swiftly fillet the fish, he tosses the fresh meat in front of Leith and settles back against the mast again.
LeithAPP 3:40 PM Leith purrs as she eats the fish.
Kentas 5:23 AM Kentas smiles and pat's Leith as she tucks into the freshly caught fish, the Kokiri stared at how big the fish was, nothing like that was in the woods so it was another strange discovery for the boy.
Kentas then looked to Mel, "Wonder what this thing is, at least that woman knew about it! Do you think they might help us with the search for survivors?" He spoke curiously before kicking his feet in the water again, Heron could be seen below the water, dashing and zooming about, enjoying the vast amount of water surrounding them.
Link:fireball: 7:21 PM Link has no answer for Kentas but he speculates, "I can only assume that this is the power of the goddesses. Only they have such power." He looks sadly at the land that was once Hyrule but which is now covered in dark water. Countless lives and memories must be drowned below.
He calls out to Irina as she darts off into danger again. "Careful!" and assumes a similar pose next to Melkibren, covering her with his bow but unable to see much.
As they approach it becomes obvious that they are indeed witnessing a miracle of architecture and inebriation as Hyrule's most trusted public house takes to the high seas.
Link turns momentarily to Esava and says, "Laying down might help." To the rest he calls out, "Prepare to board... uh.. the tavern."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:02 AM As Link starts bustling about in his energetically bold fashion, Mel hands a few mint leaves to Evasa. "Chew them, swallow the juice until the flavor is gone, don't swallow the leaves. Helps with the stomach."
Using a rope to tie the makeshift raft to what used to be a hitching post, Mel gathers his pack and stands by Link.
"I think this is more than just the goddesses. I've been watching the odds and ends floating. Look there." he says, pointing. Floating in the water is some random pieces of wood, waterlogged, but upon closer inspection, charred and burnt. Looking around, one can see similar scorching of trees, wood, and everything else floating or visible.
"Couldn't have burnt after the water came, must have been before. The scent of smoke is still in the air, and the charring ends abruptly as if it were extinguished, so it had to have been burnt very soon before the waters came, and a lot had to burn for the scent to still be this strong. Everything from the Lost Woods to here was burnt in the same way, so it wasnt just a farm or building catching on fire, it was everything. I think this was a response to something, or someone, else." (edited)
EsavaAPP 1:31 AM "Why would the goddesses flood your world?" Esava croaks to Link, pulling himself up from the edge of the raft. "They are deities you worship, are they not? Yet they wreak havoc?" How perplexing. Regardless, he lays down on his back - staring at the sky above him. "Prepare to board a floating tavern. Great."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 8:08 PM Mel nods towards Esava.
"At first glance that is what it looks like. But based on what im seeing, if the goddesses did cause this flood, it wasn't to wreak havoc, it was to save us from the havoc. The world was set on fire, and the flood put out the fire."
Shura:crab: 12:19 PM " one can only hope this flood is not permanant " shura spoke up from his smaller raft ajacent to the groups raft soaking in the idea of the goddesses doing this to save the most of them by puting out the fires
NoabAPP 10:00 PM Yeah yeah, hugs from Irina, well-known tactic. e.U Noab just pretends it doesn't bother him one way or the other. Noab stumps over to the doorway and leans out to take a look at the motley crew approaching the Wolfos. "That's your recon and response team, eh? Looks pretty thrown-together, although of course I'm in no position to judge." e.U; Noab clears his throat. "So what's the status at Kokiri Forest, then? At least minimally operational I assume, seeing as you were able to put a raft together."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 7:55 PM Grabbing his pack and setting it on his shoulders, Mel pauses and says "I would be more concerned with what set the world on fire in the first place." He then grabs Leith and sets the fairy/cat on top of his pack and begins climbing up onto the tavern deck with Irina and begins surveying the now floating tavern and its people (edited)
Irina:snowflake: 2:33 PM Irina smiles looking at the group on the raft and answers Mr. Noab. "The Kokiri Forest is above water, or at least it was when we left. It seems to be one of the few places that was spared. And I am glad to know the Wolfos was too, in a way." She smiles a bit more. After approaching Link, the former barmaid looks around them. The sun is almost up, which confirms what they were expecting: Hyrule is mostly gone and there is only water around them. "What now?" she simply asks the Hero.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 8:53 PM Mel can feel the enchanted pendant under his tunic, cool against his skin. "Kakariko is safe, for now. But I'm sure they still need help. We may be able to find answers as well there." he offers to Link Turning to Mr. Noab, he adds "A small amount of supplies to get us there would be appreciated if its possible, fresh drinking water and some food if you have any to spare. Ill owe you a favor if its ever needed."
Fi-botAPP 12:00 PM This scene has been inactive for a while, so I nudged the following characters: Melkibren, Irina, Noab, Shura, Esava, Mazaal-Ra
Link:fireball: 8:06 PM Link crouches down on the raft and takes a piece of floating wood from the water. It isn't very big and difficult to see in the moonlight so he holds it up to his nose and inhales its spicy aroma of half-burnt ash. The piece of wood drops from jis fingertips and back into the water. He remains thoughtful as they approach the floating tavern. "A sorcerer who had studied this world once told me about mysterious forces that were more powerful than the goddesses." He says this somewhat doubtful but continues, "Not really beings but elements that make up the substance of our universe." He turns to watch Irina greet Noab. "I fear that these forces have become wildly out of control." He grabs a rope and jumps into the tavern and then begins to pull the raft inside. It isn't much of a vessel but it has proven to be seaworthy and thus he has a reason to salvage it for now. After securing himself he addresses the venerable barkeep and confirms, "Yes, the Kokiri are safe for now but I fear that most of Hyrule has met a terrible fate." The look of dispair is unmistakable in the soft glow that eeriely paints the Wolfos' interior tonight.
NoabAPP 10:03 PM Noab snorts. "We're running a tavern here, supplying food and drink is our business. No need for favors...unless, of course, you're saying you don't have the rupees." >) Yup, even with Hyrule flooded, Noab intends to keep right on selling the inn's services. He's got that much faith in Hyrule's currency apparently...or maybe it's his way of distributing much-needed resources without making it look like a handout. :P Noab gives a sharp whistle. "Like we drilled, standard rations for eight!" A few workers come bustling out from the kitchens with neatly wrapped packages. "These are enough to keep most folk going for two days, used sparingly," Noab asserts. "They're twenty rupees each, and that's an optimistic price that will likely shift higher in days to come. If you haven't got the cash, it's the work plan for you, bucko. I can think of some very arduous favors to ask for." >) Noab turns to Link and scratches his beard with a raised eyebrow. "You'd think that, but for a countryside that just got turned into a salt bath, we haven't seen a lot of bodies floating out there. Just a couple luckless weirdos in black-and-red pajamas." e.U;
Link:fireball: 7:08 PM Link is a bit confused by the pajama comment. He is unaware of some of what has been happening in Hyrule. "We are a land of survivors. I have hope for the Hylians but not everyone is strong." He pulls out a wet sack of rupees and hands it to Noab. It probably isn't quite the sum he was asking but it has a certain heft to it.
Shura:crab: 6:45 PM Shura dident much like being on the water for too long and entering this odd tavern being as tall as he was the rather large samurai cracked his neck and arms trying to relax. food was being passed around too though still trying to remember what of those gems ment how much again it slipped his mind after the last battle he opted out for now. Though listning into the banter of moab made his eyebrow raze on the right side inqisitively "red and black pajamas seems like things ive heard people say my garb looks like does it resemble anything like mine?"
EsavaAPP 2:49 AM Though Esava had made himself from the raft and onto the floating tavern, his stomach troubles had continued. Granted they had lessened quite significantly given the Wolfos is a much larger structure, but the occasional spark of bleah rushes through him when the property rocks upon a sudden swell. "Are we still planning to return to Termina?" He asks softly, still looking a little bit under the weather. "We're going to need a new strategy if we hope to get to those portals. They would be under water."
Link:fireball: 6:10 PM Link hadn't even begun to formulate a strategy. He still seems shellshocked by the entire situation and stares out at the vast ocean in the darkness, although it will be light soon. He turns to Esava and offers, "I really don't know. Hyrule needs me, and I don't see a way we can find the portals now. They are likely somewhere deep in the waters below. I can't even fathom how deep everything is below us right now."
Despite his disheartened mood, he still seems hopeful, as if seeing something on the horizon. "Our hope, perhaps, is to restore balance to the triforce. Once the forces of nature are in order then things might return to as they were, and we can then find the portal back to Termina if we still need to."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 7:07 PM Mel walks to Link's side and rests a gauntleted hand on the younger mans shoulder and gives a slight squeeze of affirmation.
"Everything comes to light eventually. Let's help where we can for now, but let us also make a plan. Now we know the portals are deep underwater, and nobody knows the undercurrents quite like the Zora. I imagine they aren't as heavily impacted by these events as the rest of Hyrule, we can eventually make our way there and ask for assistance. Im still owed a favor for dealing with a roving band of Moblins a while back for them. But as you said, Hyrule and its people will need help as well. It will do you well to remember you are not alone in this. We all call Hyrule home, and we will all fight to our last breath to protect that home. At this point, knowledge is our strongest tool. The more we know about what is happening, the better our chances are of success. We can wait here until the sun breaks the horizon, then set on our path."
Adding a small clap to Link's shoulder to drive the point home, he gestures to the small gathering of allies around them.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:52 AM Turning to peer at the apparent owner of the floating tavern, Mel raises one eyebrow quizzically "Master Noab, when you have a moment, I would like to have a quick word alone with you before we set off, I have a few questions you may be able to answer, and in turn I may have something to offer to you."
Irina:snowflake: 3:52 PM Irina has been listening to the conversation. The comment about the Zoras seems to hit her somehow, although it is barely noticeable. She then speaks with a heavy smile to the goron. "If possible, please let me know once you are done with all the important matters, Mr. Noab. I have a small question I would like to ask you." After a quick bow of her head, she steps aside, giving him and Melkibren some space while she looks out to the distance.
NoabAPP 9:54 PM Noab accepts the sack and puts it on a table. "Cashier!" he barks, and one of the workers sits down to count the amount. Looking over to Shura, Noab shrugs and jerks a thumb at the lookout. "Talk to him, he's the one who saw 'em." The lookout shrugs too. "Eh, I only saw them bobbing on the water from a distance, but no, I don't think their outfits really matched yours."
The cashier sidles up to Noab and murmurs something into his ear, to which Noab nods judiciously. "Hrm. All right, looks like you're a little short on the cash for these rations. Under ordinary circumstances I'd be tempted to write it off as a bulk discount, but right now I need to think like a quartermaster as much as a businessman, and food is a scarce resource. So, as I see it, you've got a few options. So far only the Hero here has put his wallet out there, if the rest of you have any rupees in your boots, now might be a good time to shake 'em out. You could also just take a couple less rations, share 'em out how the owner sees fit, and just tighten your belts when your stomachs start growling. Or, like I was saying before, you can barter with your labor. Hrmmm, let's see..." Noab smirks. "What we need most right now is a better way of moving this barge around. I'll give you the last couple rations on credit for now if you'll promise to set us up with a decent means of mobility, and I'll give you another eight rations free on delivery." SIDE-QUEST FLAG ACTIVATED!
With that taken care of, Noab looks at Melkibren and jerks his head toward a corner of the room before stumping over there. "This is about as much confidentiality as we can get around here," he mutters. "What do you need to talk about?"
SheikAPP 12:00 AM Having spent enough time among the heavens, it was time to return back home. it may not have been as he'd left it, but it was still recognizable to some degree. Much more...blue than before, but a change that was likely necessary. Sheik had not seen it, but the echoes of the Three's presence left behind was more than registered by him. Falling through what remained of the billowing clouds, he fell free until something registered within his view. A place that had the makings of comfort. Adjusting his body to extend itself forward, he dove into the water, breaking the water's surface with more control than what his fall appeared to be capable of. Something about those Sheikah garments.
Rising back up to the surface, he swims his way along until he boards the Wolfos quietly. The water rolls off of his clothes quickly enough, allowing him to step inside and look around at the crowd gathered. "It's no mistake that everyone is gathered here in this way. Fate must be tilted in the right direction." Drawing closer to the group, he acknowledged Noab with a nod. "I understand you need a way to give this vessel greater mobility?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:46 AM Mel follows Nab to the corner
"These fellows in red and black, I can share what I know of them from reports. They haven't been active for long, but they always have a habit of being mentioned in particularly gruesome and out of the ordinary cases. If you see them again, make sure to give them a wide berth. I have had friends tracking them for some time. That being said, if you could estimate the area you saw them in last, it would be helpful. I have a feeling they have had a hand in the recent misdealings in the area. Secondly, I would like to know any information you might have on the status of the Castle and Kakriko Village." While speaking he pulls out his rupee pouch, and retrieves a amethyst colored rupee and presses it into Noab's hand.
"This should cover the rest of the rations, and whatever helpful information you may have."
LeithAPP 9:14 PM Leith, still atop Mel's pack, asks of Noab.
"Have you been to Kakariko? Have you seen a floating house per chance?
Shura:crab: 9:43 PM Shura qwerked a brow all this new atention to the red and blacked garbed men and there actions the swords rattle showed the demon withins excitement he held his hand over his blade as he was the first to hear it and the talking cat was still alittle odd for him seeing it hop on the archers pack shakeing his head " grusome extreame cases..... intresting indeed" shura scratched his chin not paying much mind shiek as he was more intrested in fighting as per usual .... " i hope there is more to hear about these men..... i want to test there steel "
NoabAPP 10:30 PM Noab takes the rupee with a nod, then tosses it to the cashier. "Add that in and give the Hero his change." While the transaction is being finalized, Noab turns his attention back to Melkibren. "Intel I'll exchange freely, it doesn't reduce our supply to give it out and we're all going to need to know as much as we can. The bodies were spotted to the southwest, between Lon-Lon Ranch and what was the southern border. As for the Castle and Kakariko, I can only tell you what their status was before the flood, which was that Castle Town was slathered with deadly gunk and occupied by Dragmire, while Kakariko was stuffed with refugees from Castle Town." Noab peers at the furry lump behind Melkibren. "...You carrying some fuzzy-headed kid in your pack or something? Anyway, no, we haven't been very far from our current location since the flood. Are you saying you're expecting another floating building? Maybe I shouldn't be surprised." :P
Noab turns and blinks when Sheik addresses him. "You weren't in my headcount earlier. If you want a ration, better speak up for it. But yes, we're looking for a way to cover some distance. Can't expect customers to come to us in the near future, so we'd better go to them." Noab finally looks back over to Irina. "All right, what's your question?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:22 AM Mel nods his thanks to Noab, then takes a seat in the corner of the tavern. Pulling a small pocket journal from under his cloak, he rifles through the pages, scribbling notes here and there, consulting others, peering at a map of Hyrule hanging on the wall nearby and absentmindedly rubbing behind the cats ears while lost in thought. As he scribbles he mumbles, half to himself, half to the cat, not even expecting an answer. He was taught that sometimes to work something out, you just had to talk it over, even to something that couldn't or wouldn't necessarily talk back.
"Assassin rouges... Fire at the Lake Manor couldn't have been an accident... Also that odd figure at the cave and Lost Woods just before the flood... Somehow connected? The odd footprints at the Graveyard... Weren't boots, unusual for the area..."
His rumblings trail off as he stares at the map, once again rubbing behind the cats ears absentmindedly.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:36 AM Mel also conceals the true object of his gaze, using his peripheral vision to study the newcomer. He had recognized the stranger immediately, or more accurately, his clothing. The symbol embossed on his tunic caught his attention, having seen it quite a few times as the Hyrule Royal Guard Captain. Not many had the privilege of seeing the symbol of the Sheikah and remaining to speak of it after. They moved with grace and stealth that surpassed even his own abilities, a certain young sandy haired wearer of the symbol had once snuck up on him and painted a crude drawing of a Moblin on his armor while he was wearing it
Seeing the same symbol here and now surely held importance of some sort. (edited)
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:05 AM Mel actually notices the cat he is scratching, or at least the appearance of one. Reaching under his tunic, he pulls the enchanted pendant from its hiding spot and show it to Leith. Speaking lightly, he tells the fairy-cat,
"It's been cold for some time now, meaning Netri is safe. If Netri is safe, you can be assured Sayah is the cause with this much pandemonium about. it also means Lude is either gone or restored, I'm taken with the latter of those options. We shall see soon either way. This news of the refugees from Castle Town is a bit of trouble, that means there will be lots of people with no means of help in one area. Our friends can only do so much, lets hope it is enough."
Slipping the pendant back under his shirt, Mel leans back in his seat and continues watching the stranger while making himself appear busy fiddling with his notebook some more.
Shura:crab: 12:28 PM Shura was oddly grining as he looked to noab offering a gold collored ruppee scratching his head " is this enough to get a drink for everyone ? " shura kinda liked it cause of the colour it was obvious he wasent from around here pulling off his mask and sighing he streached out his back a cupple of cracks excapeing his eyes uncovered sitting with mel " tell me about those men the pajama ment as our host called them who are they and what do they want causeing chaos seems like bad luck since i got here .... rather have some intresting people or problems to cut down "
Irina:snowflake: 12:56 PM Irina moves back to Noab, answering his question in her usual humble tone. "Mr. Noab, a while ago I was offered my old job and room back. I wanted to ask you if that offer still stands."
"On top of my work, I could provide the Wolfos with ice anytime, without having to travel. That means we could keep the food fresh longer and the drinks cold." Have the customers experienced cold ale yet? "And as usual, I would be happy to decorate and create art for the guest rooms."
"Of course, I would not ask for any salary in return. Just like I did in the past, I would just ask to provide food and shelter to whoever needs it."
Irina then waits for Mr. Noab's reply. Her face says that a negative answer would be completely acceptable.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 1:09 AM Mel doesn't look over to Shura as he replies, keeping his appearance of fiddling with his notes "Im not exactly sure yet. They are connected to events that have happened, but only partially. To me it seems like they are mercenaries of some sort, a scalpel to be used where a hammer should not be. I've been investigating them for a while now, they are quite good at covering themselves, but not always good enough. Something to keep in mind, but not worry about quite yet."
Shura:crab: 5:04 PM " intresting indeed ..... well if there so good at being covered up it sounds alot like something ive incountered in kakariko doubt there conected but they act like warriors from my land " shura crosses his arms sitting down with mel after grabbing a bottle of booze for himself takeing a swig and settleing down " i was worryed by there discription they may be just that come to hunt me down .... something like that i saw one of a wanted poster from my land in kakariko .....thought they may be here already " (edited)
EsavaAPP 2:24 AM the native from the deserts in Termina remains mostly quiet in the corner. Puffing out his cheeks occasionally, the man lets out a long, slow exhale of breath before taking in another.
Sheik's arrival earns a narrow gaze, curious at the nature of this man, but he soon drawns his ire back to the floorboards of this floating inn.
"If we are granted extra mobility, I would like very much to go back onto solid ground."
Link:fireball: 11:56 PM Link takes in Melkibren's advice as his eyes seach for the dawn's first light along the horizon. He briefly nods, in total agreement. Knowledge is the missing piece to this puzzle.
His attention diverts to the masked man that has suddenly appeared. Link's eyes widen and he steps up to him, staring in disbelief as if he were attempting to decipher whether or not it is truly him. He doesn't say anything but listens carefully to the offers being discussed and the intelligence that is being shared. He hears Irina's offer to Noab and raises an eyebrow but doesn't say anything.
Shura:crab: 7:04 PM Shura dident take long to down half the bottle .. in fact no time at all to down the whole thing as he was already finished shruging slightly as he looked on to link walking tward shiek to him they both looked like they could fight all he really cared about at this point. this worlds problems were geting more complicated then he would care to admit. this was no time to ask for a freindly duel in a tavern but he really did want to see why this man was so well known as a hero " hmmmmm..... sir.... melkibren.... could you tell me alittle more of link as a warror i do not want to be rude and ask him while he is busy " shura said in a hush haveing a slight hard time pronouncing his name "you seem to know him well enough think he will have a freindly duel with me or should i just ask him that..... " shura also may be alittle drunker then he thought
NoabAPP 7:26 PM There's a scattered chorus of cheers from the inn's workers at the prospect of having Irina amongst their number again. :D Noab holds up a hand. "We know you're a good worker, so yes, certainly I'm happy to hire you back on. I need to clarify what you just said, though. If you're asking that your pay be that the inn gives free food and shelter to anyone and everyone you deem to be in need of it, that's a promise I can't keep. Individual charity is all well and good, but the world needs hard work and well-earned exchange more than ever during a crisis like this. That's why the Crimson Wolfos Inn is going to keep doing business as business, with a keen eye on supply and demand."
Noab folds his arms. "That said, an asset who can keep food fresh is worthy of substantial extra pay. If you work here, you will get a salary, and if you want to spend it on charity cases that's your choice. Fair enough?"
Irina:snowflake: 5:16 AM Irina can't help but smiling warmly as her old coworkers seem to be fine with her coming back. Noab does not look surprised that she can provide ice somehow (what a random offer!), but he's probably seen enough crazy things already, she thinks.
Regarding the offer, Irina nods. "Of course, Mr. Noab. I wasn't asking to provide food and shelter to everyone; just whatever my salary could cover. But what you propose is basically the same, and I am very happy with that. Thank you," she adds, with a bow of her head.
Then she goes back to her group, noticing Sheik, and nods her head as greeting before speaking to Link.
"Link, I am not sure if this would be helpful, but I can use the water to create small ice roads and communicate whatever parts of Hyrule are still around. What do you think?"
SheikAPP 10:16 PM Sheik nodded in greeting to those who acknowledged him and to those that didn't, he returned their gazes in the same fashion they were given. He did have some idea of ways to get this place going, but it'd take a bit of work. "Extra mobility is available in the form of banners. Any place that the Royal Family's influence extended to had banners to represent that. If not them, then their military and so forth. On my way here, I happened to see a banner floating on the water. If we can collect enough of those, and similar materials, they can be stitched together and used as a sail."
LeithAPP 11:24 PM Leith, being more perceptive than the average cat, knows who Sheik is. She makes no mention of it to anyone however as she hops off of Mel's sack and trots over to Sheik, circling around thier feet.
HeronAPP 10:32 AM the Zora zoomed around some more before jumping onto the deck of the Crimson Wolfos, the Zora enters the Tavern then begins approached the group with a big grin.
He overheard Sheik's suggestion, "Well I think that is a good idea, I have seen some Octoroks in the distance, but since there is so much water they might not try anything. We could easily swim around and find some Banners. I, of course, don't mind going!" He spoke with a passion as he flexes his arm with a clenched fist. Even if things got messy, Heron wasn't one to run away from a fight in the sea!
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 11:21 AM Overhearing the conversation, Mel stands again and walks over to the group.
"There is an old Hylian Guard outpost just a bit west of here, among other things it held quite a few banners and flags. You may be able to find something salvageable there. There should also be some weapons and armor there should the need to protect yourselves arise."
HeronAPP 3:37 PM The Zora smiled to Melkibren giving him a thumbs up, "That's great news! Although, I won't be able to carry all that equipment. Maybe we could take one of the rafts and go? I'll push!~" He cracked his webbed fingers and started stretching, ready to pull his weight.
Shura:crab: 4:45 PM Shura looked to heron and the group decideing to throe in an idea thinking while scratching his chin before snaping his fingers thinking of something " why not attatch it to something we can pull it up with more able bodys on this sterdy ship tavern if you need a good arm to do so ill be the first there to pull it up or pull us along to wherever we need to go" shura however dident leave his seat but stayed in it . Though he felt odd being more outspoken then normal
Link:fireball: 7:53 PM Link momentarily turns his attention to Irina. He slowly nods to her, thinking about how to leverage her powers. It hadn't occurred to him that her water magic would be a powerful ally now. "Absolutely. What is the extent of your control over water?"
SheikAPP 11:23 PM "All of the suggestions thus far seem reasonable, but we need to venture forth to acquire the materials first. That should be our foremost goal. If I understand correctly, this vessel can't move very well without something to catch the winds. It stands to reason that a raft would be our only option, though lacking in protection it may be, to gather said materials. A team that works well on water and in it would be preferable. Yet we shouldn't limit ourselves strictly to them." Sheik's eyes move down to meet Leith and give her brief recognition before continuing."Some must remain here with the tavern."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 10:11 AM Outside, a gust of wind can be heard as a purple-robed individual some present recognize walks into the tavern.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:45 AM Mel's sword, its hilt wrapped in leather hums shortly under his cloak then grows quiet again upon the appearance of the new visitor.
Turning to look at the newcomer, Mel addresses Noab over his shoulder.
"Your tavern is having quite the influx of interesting characters as of late, is it always like this?"
Irina:snowflake: 11:45 AM Irina was about to answer Link, probably ready to give him all kinds of details. This new arrival makes her stop, though, and nods her head as a greeting. "It's good to know you are safe, too." There might be a lack of trust towards the sorcerer, or maybe just some caution to share information, but she's still glad he survived the flood.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 11:58 AM "You as well, I came to deliver some news. I've been scrying all of Hyrule and learned quite a few things about our current situation. It's mostly bad news, but one piece of good in all of this. Dragmire has been sealed within the castle by the goddesses, beneath the waves."
Kentas 1:46 PM Kentas put his hand up in the air, asking the visitor, "Can he not swim or something?" Kentas asked rather childishly, unknowing of the power of the Goddesses.
Radella immediately buzzed around him in a red glow, "No! It doesn't work like that! There is obviously some sort of spell used along with this flood to seal him away." She sighs at her companion, unsure whether he could even comprehend that kind of idea.
Kentas nodded his head and looked around this weird house that was floating, "I see.. well hopefully they can get rid of SOME of this water while they are at it?"
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 3:26 PM "Sadly, I believe the water is somehow part of their magic. If it drains away, Ganon will be released. The other bad news is that, try as I might, I could not locate the Triforce of Wisdom, it is likely beyond Hyrule, my guess would be Termina."
Kentas 5:19 PM The Kokiri scratched his chin, "Well we were on our way to this Termina place, I think Link had the same idea.. how important is this Wisdom Triforce-thingies? I certainly know nothing about these!" Kentas gave a wide grin to Vaati, the stranger looked very interesting, but seemed friendly enough.
Shura:crab: 5:23 PM Shura simply grumbled feeling.... lightly ignored his qwestions going unawnsered, though it was nice hearing kenta was fairly in the same page info wise no idea what the heck a triforce of wisdom was not like it mattered much to him anyways. Shura however walked over past the bar to down another bottle since why not. Dident really seem like anyone was going to stop him and hed give them the reqwired ruppies for it if he was confronted about it. " whats a man got to do to get some fun around here ..."
NoabAPP 9:31 PM Noab tugs his beard thoughtfully. "Banners, eh. We did think about sewing some bedsheets together, but we figured they'd rip because they're too thin. Banners might work, though." Noab nods to Heron. "Well, like I said, we'll trade more rations for movement capability. I just hope we can figure out how to use sails properly." e.U;
Noab raises an eyebrow when Melkibren asks his question. "I take it he's not with you, then. We do see all sorts here, but today's especially busy. Guess it's to be expected considering we're one of the few places above water." :P
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 12:55 PM "Well, that brings me to the other reason I'm here." Vaati approaches Noab and asks, "I assume you're the owner of this establishment? If so, I have an offer for you. You see, I wish to help the people of Hyrule, but it is understandable I'm not very trusted due to my past. I wish to change that." Vaati then produces a pouch of 200 rupees, "Consider this an advance whether you accept or decline, I only ask you hear me out."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 12:50 AM Mel relaxes his arms a bit, sliding the small knives hidden under his gauntlets back into their hiding spot, nobody had even noticed him prepare them as he stood with his arms crossed across his chest. He looked relaxed, just standing, but in reality he was prepared and ready to throw them should the slightest threat show its self from Vaati. He knew they probably wouldn't do much else except give others time to react and possibly flee, but that would have been enough. However, Vaati's body language and voice told Mel he was being sincere, to a point at any rate.
"Try anything to harm any person here, the kind Mr. Noab will have a lovely set of new purple curtains for his tavern."
Strolling to the bar and clapping a few rupees on the counter, he orders a pot of hot tea and mugs for everyone and settles into a chair beside one of the larger tables close to everyone.
SheikAPP 1:44 AM "Fun is...few and far between," Sheik picked up on Shura's remarks. "Of course, it depends on how you define it," he proceeded to produce a bit of rupees to enjoy a pot of tea, extending his hand to Noab as he continued speaking. "If you define fun as throwing enemies around, then there should be plenty of fun waiting for us once we embark." He asides to Noab, "A pot of breakfast blend, please." Once the transaction was completed, he found a comfortable spot to relax in and address Shura further. "These pajama wearing fighters you speak of are Sheikah turncoats that have rescinded their duties to the kingdom and sought to serve evil and darkness. They pose a terrible threat, given their experience and knowledge of internal matters and affairs that are unknown outside of us," he pointed at the emblem on his clothing indicating the Sheikah. "Who knows what they have survived after Hyrule has taken this turn, but chances are, if we have managed to live, then they too, have done the same."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 3:13 AM Mel reaches under his cloak and tosses his notebook on the table opened to his notes on the rogues and various things acquitted to them.
"I take it these are them? If they are indeed rogue Sheikah, they have been underestimated or very quiet about their activities."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 10:16 AM Waiting for a response from the barkeep, Vaati weighs in on the conversation, “Yes, I did witness some survivors of these people in my scrying. The Yiga I believe they call themselves, it is a shame though that they’re human, if they were monsters or had sworn allegiance to the dark world I could bend their will to my service. Now that Gabon is gone that is.”
NoabAPP 7:24 PM "Manager," Noab corrects Vaati. "The owner is Rokua of the Zora. Still, I'm the one you want to talk to for doing business." Noab lets the rupee pouch rest in his palm with a stony expression (which isn't unusual for him, for multiple reasons...but still). "That's a generous introductory gift. In my experience, people who lead off with something like that often ask for some pretty big favors afterward." Noab quirks an eyebrow at Melkibren's warning to Vaati. "And I don't know your past, but you do seem to cause some wariness in some folk. Nevertheless, I'm listening."
And yes, everybody gets their orders in a timely fashion, although Noab's not the one making the transactions and serving the goods. Also, things might be a little pricier than folk are expecting. :red_rupee: No telling when the inn will be able to restock, after all.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 8:23 PM "Thank you," Vaati states direction his attention back to Noab, "I would like to create a mutually beneficial arrangement between myself and, through this tavern, the general populace of Hyrule. I will provide up-front a lump sum of rupees, and in a couple months time, the crops and other goods I have begun the production of in the former Hebra mountains. Once grown, I will monthly provide these goods, in exchange I only ask two things. First of all, a way in which to build up a better reputation for myself, in other words, to back up my claims of reformation from my past. The other thing, is as a form of training exercise for my servants, to get them acquainted to the culture and social normalities of the other races of Hyrule. I cannot guarantee all will be the most pleasant at first, but I will make it quite clear to them that severe punishment will follow any misbehavior. That is my offer, here is the initial rupee amout." Brings forward a sack containing :red_rupee:20000:red_rupee:
LeithAPP 9:29 PM Leith's eyes widen at the sight of the bag, she hops on to the table and tries to swipe a rupee or two.
Vaati-Eye-SentryAPP 9:56 PM Moves in front of Leith as non-menacingly as a litteral floating eyeball with bat wings can be.
Shura:crab: 10:08 PM " well at least one person caught my meaning..... and if they are indeed servants of evil it will be more fun for me and my blade to cut them down you lot seem like a good spar not much more no offence i hope" shura grinned alittle as he did have a more meniceing look then the others but offset by his abnormaly kind heart least for his allys that is. And now knowing the pajama groups name made it slightly easyer to find them or at leasy easyer to say yiga then pajama they qere now a heavy intrest to shura given there bad name and finding out they betrayed there allys made it nore intresting " shame i was looking to hunt down that lynel first but its probly under this sea were floating on * shura chucked out the papers he took from the bounty board only to reveil his bounty axidently from his land as it read " wanted dead or alive 25000 ruppes for Shura the crimson"
Link:fireball: 7:53 PM Link gives a solemn nod to the sorcerer as he steps in but he doesn't say anything initially. He listens intently but seems skeptical and a bit overwhelmed by the news and the offer. Finally,, he offers, "The people of Hyrule are not an easy audience to win. Even those of us who have sacrificed our lives for their safety are often at odds with their opinions." He sighs and continues, "Anywau, all the ruppees in the world will not mean anything if food and safety are out of hand. Nevertheless, we do need all of the help we can get. We do need to get to Termina. There is a portal in the forest but it is underwater."
He looks to the eastern desert and wonders, "Are the drylands also in inundated?"
EsavaAPP 8:19 PM "Are you referring to the portal beyond the Gerudo fortress?" Esava croaks, still alive and breathing! Despite the rocking of the Wolfos. Though he was mostly stewing off to the side, appraising Vaati with a wary eye, he finally had something to offer.
"I would recommend against that if so. That's the way Tommy and I got here, remember. Given the state of people that entered it after us, I would really look at a different route. That portal now glows a deep, blood-red. And it spits its occupants out in chunks. Unless you know of any magician good enough to reverse that magic, we might have to look at journeying under the sea? Which is more feasible?"
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 8:32 PM "Actually, both natural portals are underwater. Thankfully, I am magically inclined enough to short-distance dimension jump. Please don't ask how that works, it would take far too long to explain the quantum-physical implications." Vaati becomes a bit more solemn, "I do realize I can never fully atone, all I can do is give all I have to build a better future."
NoabAPP 8:54 PM Noab stares down at the new bag of rupees. If Hyrule's economic machine were in full swing right now, that'd be a nice bit of fuel...and it may yet be very useful sometime in the future, say to help REBUILD THE INN YET AGAIN. @.U At the moment, that bit about crops sounds more important. But regardless of the form of pay, first he has to figure out the task at hand. "I don't think I understand what you're asking for," Noab says. "You want your servants, whatever they are, trained to interact with regular folk? How? You want them to stay in the inn and watch us go about our business? You want us to give them some kind of etiquette lessons?" Noab blinks as the winged eyeball shows up to defend the rupees. "...Would that be an example of the 'servants' you're talking about?"
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 11:39 PM “Vaati Picoru, sorcerer and lord of the palace of winds. I believe while at first there will be some of these issues, the majority of the wizrobes, darknuts, and iron knuckles are already sociable. So really this exercise is more for the poes and helmaroc, and as such the primary business will be put in the charge of the more capable while the others observe. As to how I can control them in the first place, dark past and all that; orphaned from infancy and pretty sure one of my parents was a demon or demoness. In any case, they will be behaved, you have my word.”
HeronAPP 7:23 PM Jumping into the water, Heron makes his way over to the raft and latches onto the side like an unwanted barnacle next to Irina.
"So we just head west right.. which way is that here?" The Termina-born Zora nervously asks as he looks around the horizon. The sun slowly creeping up over the edge of the distant waves and islands scattered over the flooded Hyrule.
Shura:crab: 7:24 PM " if any of them need to blow off some steam and spar outside of this nice vessle ill ablidge them an iron knuckle sounds like an amazing fighter id like to meet myself ahaha"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:22 PM Mel retrieves his spyglass from his pack and follows outside onto the deck/porch and yells down to the Zora.
"Keep the sun to your back, you can see better underwater, look for a hilltop with no trees, 4 story tower with a very tall bannerpole atop it. Small stable next to it. There is a small stone archway at the base of the hill, hard to miss it. The banners and flags will be in the second floor, the armory on the third. This will get you into the armory."
He produces a small brass key from a belt pouch and tosses it onto the raft.
"Keep your eyes sharp, both of you. I need not remind you of what would happen should any harm befall our lady Irina?"
He raises an eyebrow quizzically at Heron and then slips in a small wink that shows he knows the Zora can do well on his own to protect Irina and the threat is hollow.
"Ill keep a lookout from here. If there is any trouble where you cannot see, I will plunge two stones into the water as a warning."
HeronAPP 5:50 AM Giving out a sigh of relief, the warrior winks back at Mel with much confidence in these waters. "You know it! We'll be back before you know it with enough banners and that missing equipment!"
Turning to look at the sun, Heron begins to kick rapidly, turning the raft slowly till like the Captain of the royal guard said so. The Sun was now shining behind them, Heron and Irina's silhouettes barely climbing aboard the raft.
With a scoop of his webbed hand the key disappears into his pouch, tightly tied to make sure it didn't float into the bottom of Hyrule's newly-created sea, Heron gave a glance to Irina making sure their tempo wouldn't be off. "You ready? Let's start kicking on 3. 1.. 2.. 3!"
SheikAPP 9:24 PM Sheik had been minding himself, enjoying some tea while everyone else managed their discussions about how to handle gathering the materials for this vessel. Like he's always known them to be, decisions don't take much time to be reached and already, part of the group is on the move. "While they busy themselves with work outside of here, what is it that we should do for the Inn? Unless there's no need of me, I intend to rest."
Kentas 2:03 PM Kentas looked around the Inn before shrugging his little shoulders, "I dunno.. I am not much of a swimmer so I stayed, but I can't just stand around doing nothing. I should do something training or earn my keep. Can't have that lady doing all the work for us!" The Kokiri sassily put his hands on his hips and puffed his cheeks.
Walking up to Noab the Kokiri prodded the manager to get his attention. "Do you have any work for a small warrior like myself?" His voice asked curiously for some work.
Irina:snowflake: 3:13 PM Irina nods to Heron, then starts swimming on his signal. She swims steadily, pretty quick for a Hylian -- maybe too quick for a Hylian. But she doesn't seem to be tiring herself; it feels like this is her regular speed.
The barmaid does not say anything, Her focus is on swimming and finding those banners, although her mind is probably trying to digest all the information their received from Vaati.
NoabAPP 10:33 PM Boy, Noab's really turned into the quest-giver NPC. c.U He blinks down at Kentas. "Work? For a Kokiri? Hrmmmm..." Noab tugs his beard for a moment. "...Right now we're being kept afloat by a bunch of barrels, but I don't trust 'em to stay watertight forever. We're going to need backup floatation devices. Some octorok balloons should do the trick. They come up to the surface to harry travelers, so hopefully you shouldn't need to swim much to get at them. I'll give you 20 rupees for 10 of those." Noab turns his head to Sheik. "You can help the kid if you please, but how you split the reward will be your own business. Rooms are 50 rupees per night if you want to stay."
Meanwhile, the waters are proving to already have their hazards for the expedition team. The malice covering Castle Town hasn't stopped emitting nastiness just because of a flood; in fact, it seems to have adapted to it to some degree. Skullfish roam the sea in search of flesh to bite, and a few of them have noticed Irina and Heron. +.+ They thrash up from the depths with serrated jaws gaping wide.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 11:20 PM While unable to directly control Malice, the wind sorcerer was able to deter the skullfish in the area from attacking. He had a feeling monsters of their intellect would resume their old habits once he left, but as he was here, might as well keep them at bay. “Well, good day Noab.” Vaati said as he then spoke to Sheik, “A word in private, if you will. You can refuse, I won’t stop you, I’ll be waiting in here.” Vaati proceeds to step into an empty room within the Wolfos.
HeronAPP 12:31 PM The Zora continues to kick with his companion, the force of the water they kicked away make quite the water show as it frothed and crashed behind them. They were making good time already, under the water Heron could feel the lingering threats in the distance around them. They were unusually familiar to Heron but he didn't pay them no mind.. not unless they dared face such a warrior of the sea!
Heron kept peeking his head under the water, looking around for the description Melkibren gave, it was so detailed that if the two swimming experts passed it by, it would surely be Heron's fault.
Then as he doubted himself, the tower hazily came into view, submerged in an almost perfect condition, Heron smirked, blowing bubbles out his gills before gazing around. There were one or two nasty beasties close to the stable, but maybe they would be fine? Heron bobbed his head above water, turning to Irina with a positive attitude, "Well! We are nearly there, just a little more and we can stop this raft and dive down for the banners and equipment." He grinned before looking ahead to make sure they didn't steer away from it now!
SheikAPP 9:15 PM "Gathering up balloons would be prudent," Sheik concurred with Noab. He supposes he could lend some assistance to the Kokiri. Well, no use in sitting and waiting for the octoroks to come to them. As he stands, he finds that his presence has been requested. Nodding in response, he stepped away to the empty room to be addressed. "You wished to speak with me," he stated more so than asked. Straight to the point, without much fuss from this one.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 10:19 PM As Sheik enters the room, Vaati casts a simple charm to soundproof it from outside ears. “Yes,I would like to apologize, it was likely unpleasant being cooped up in that room. I won’t ask you to return, far from it, but I would ask to simply get to know you for you. Not just the one I once knew.”
SheikAPP 11:05 PM Sheik was quiet for a few moments, but decided he would speak on what was being addressed. He didn't break form, just in case something took place that needed his more immediate attention. "Being in that room allowed me the time to recover and think about what I wished to do. I didn't like it, but not for the sense of being trapped. It was because I felt helpless." He closed his eyes and sighed. "It was the best place for me to be, though it wasn't a preferred place. Had I been here, I doubt I would have survived long enough. In all likelihood, I would have done something reckless in my injured state."
He opened his eyes once more. "The person you wish to know is someone that has lost their kingdom. Twice. Once to Ganondorf and again to a flood. Any duties and responsibilities I had to the kingdom as it once was have been failed and I question if it is possible to make a return at this point or better spent playing the part of being missing and possibly dead. I am without the Triforce and though I have something to replace it, it feels both familiar and foreign to me and contributes to what bitterness I feel in my failing to protect my former inheritance." He folded his arms calmly. "But that is not your burden to undertake. The person you wish to know right now is frustrated, angered, confused and much more." He pondered for a few moments on what way to proceed forward in this conversation, feeling like nothing but a stormy cloud with no intention of letting up. "Zelda is...curious and has a penchant for mischief. She would sometimes trouble the royal guards in the castle. She did this enough to have them retaliate against a certain someone who fired deku seeds at the windows they were stationed near." That was the best he could muster so far to lighten the mood.
Link:fireball: 7:43 PM Link observes Vaati and Sheik move to the other room. It is almost as if they are sitting in silence because he recalls the walls of the Wolfos being thin enough to at least sense a conversation was happening in an adjacent room. He turns to the group and wonders aloud, "So apparently Ganondorf is trapped under all of this cursed water; Hyrule is flooded. I feel as if we are powerless here."
He steps to the door and gazes outside, "I don't think there is anything we can do regarding the water except learn to adapt. We need to get this building anchored to land." Out on the horizon are masses of land, either high points within Hyrule such as the peak of Death Mountain, or places beyond the border of the kingdom. "We will need to rely on our Zora friends and we also need ships. If Hyrule is to be protected now it will be by sea."
Link looks back to Vaati then to the group, "We also must reunite the Triforce and bring balance back to this land otherwise I think we will just see further calamities. Ever since the flood I have sensed an absence I have never felt before. I feel I must search for it, perhaps on the other side of the foresaken portal." His ambitious plans ring out like an invitation to some accursed destiny but that is par for the course with this warrior.
He points to higher ground in the direction of the Lost Woods, the tops of ancient trees are vaguely visible over the churning tide. That us probably a good place to anchor this floating relic of Hyrule's better days.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:48 PM Mel nods in assent to Links words.
"Anchoring down is good, but its always good to be mobile. We will need materials and shipbuilders. Fishing villages are most likely our best bet to find someone who knows how to build a boat, but we will need something a bit more sizable than a fishing canoe. We have plenty of hands to help with labor and gathering. We will also need defenses, we will not be the only ones on the waters. Archers are good, but a good ballistae or even a garrison cannon would really draw the survivability up. The Wolfos will be a prime target for anyone looking to make an easy score of supplies."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 10:07 PM “Well, it is not surprising there are some similarities between the three of you I’ve met. Your familiarity with the Light Force will likely improve with time and practice, as I have wielded the majority of it for eons, I would offer to tutor you in that and any other magics of your interest. I... there is also something else I should confess, if you will allow me to show you. It may drastically change your opinion of me, but I do not wish to keep you in the dark about this any longer.”
EsavaAPP 10:46 PM Esava remains off to the side, in a corner, his eyes locked onto Vaati with careful suspicion. Given how offput he was by the rocking he's probably not as subtle as he would like! But here he remains nontheless.
SheikAPP 3:00 AM "Learning how to use the Light Force may be wise to do for the time being. I have no other interests in magics unless they have potential to impede and or stop Ganondorf's advances. I still maintain control over forces that I feel should have left me when the Triforce disappeared. I find it strange that I still can as I was certain that the piece is what granted me the abilities in the first place. Why they remain is beyond my grasp to comprehend. However, I can't overlook what the Goddesses saw fit to leave me with."
Though the room was sound proofed to keep anything from going out, Sheik could still overhear conversation from beyond the barrier. "I do not know what you wish to confess, given that we have no history between ourselves for any judgement to linger. Past lives and a past Hyrule, yes, but I nor the land as it stands have nothing to show for in terms of opinion." He glanced towards the walls briefly. "You once were a threat. I suppose now is the time to show me why that is no longer the case."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 8:28 AM The room begins to warp with energy as Vaati prepares a large- scale illusion spell, “These are events from my third return, where Ganondorf broke my seal and forced me to serve as the face for his conquest, while he plotted from the shadows.” The room appears to be a replica of the top floor of the Tower of Winds, Vaati(Four Swords Adventures) is standing next to the balcony as Zelda(FSA) is within a familiar pink crystal in the center of the room. The two stand in silence for a moment, then Vaati says, “I tire of this.”
Kentas 12:39 PM Smirking at Noab, Kentas reaches into his backpack and pulls out his slingshot that he swiped during the commotion back at Kokiri Forest. With a devilish look, Kentas holds his head back and bellows a laugh of confidence, "Very Well! I shall be back quicker than you can say Mido Smells ten times fast!"
Darting out if the Crimson Wolfos, Kentas reaches the edge of the water, as Noab said, they weren't far off to spit at or agitate travelers. If Kentas could get them to come closer l, he could easily get them with his Scythe and slingshot. He paused, trying to calculate all possibilities and tactics to complete this task. Radella merely hovering around his head and gazing at the Octoroks before mumbling, "Oh dear.. Kentas.."
Shura:crab: 12:56 PM Shura chuckled alittle listning in to the goings on seeing link move about and hearing mels words he couldent help but ponder himself such powerfull forces at work and everyone so eager to help includeing himsel. Watching kenta move to the door of the crimson wolfos looking for the octoroks nothing much he could do with his swords or kunai at this range " you know moveing this ship may be the hard part but if theres any solid wood above the water ill cut them down as meterials for inprovment and master link was it " he paused for a moment sizeing him up " if this gannon fellow were to excape what are our chances of faceing him?" Shura sounded so sure of himself while he said this his curiousity of the fire haired garudo his fame is known here maybe by fighting him shura would get some notariaty by fighting him.
Link:fireball: 12:54 PM Link watches Kentas and follows him to the door. He smirks, and then picks up an empty bottle and tosses it at something moving in the water. An angry and annoyed oktoroc appears and locks eyes on the kokiri.
Irina:snowflake: 1:12 PM Irina keeps her head above water, pushing the raft along with Heron. She sees one or two skullfish in the distance but does not seem concerned.
The barmaid nods to Heron, "Hopefully everything is still there," she adds with a smile, ready to dive in whenever they are close enough.
Kentas 5:16 PM As the Octorok pops up to the surface, Kentas locks eyes back before whipping out his slingshot and loading a deku seed into its little pouch, the band stretching and filling with tension as Kentas pulls back hard with gusto!
The seed fly's across the water and hits the Octorok between the eyes, but rather than hurting the creature it freezes in place. Taking the opportunity Kentas dashes for the edge of the deck before jumping overboard with a swing of his Scythe. The blade carries through the sea creaturw before pulling him in too, now with one slain Octorok floating next to the Kokiri in the water. It was time to get a few more, as Kentas fished both himself and his quest out of the water.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:15 PM Mel watches Kentas kill octoroks with interest, and decides to have some fun. Grabbing a table leg from an old smashed table set aside for spare wood, he approaches the edge of the deck and waits for another to surface. He didn't have to wait long, as one bounced up as Kentas was still hauling his small soaked figure onto the deck.
Letting loose a shrill whistle to distract the creature, it turns and affixes Mel with an angry gaze. Chocking up a wad of river stones and mud, it spits the ball of bed matter at Mel with surprising force. Tracking the projectile with his hunters eyes, he crancks the table leg up over his shoulder and gives a mighty swing just before it reaches him.
SMACK
The wad of stones hurtles back towards the surprised octorok, colliding with it with even more force than it had released the mass with. A sickening thud, and the octorok careens over in the water, cleanly knocked out, if not slightly bruised.
Mel nods to Kentas and tosses the table leg onto the deck next to him and returns to drinking his tea and munching on some food he had ordered from the bar. (edited)
SheikAPP 11:23 PM A familiar feeling, it seems. Witnessing another Zelda trapped in a barrier. It's strange how...frequent this occurrence is. He has to wonder how many princesses have underwent this same thing.
The Princess within the barrier looked out from it with some longing, knowing her friend was out there somewhere in Hyrule. As much as she wished to be saved, the land was far more important to take care of and in her stead, no one would be better suited for it. Her thoughts are drawn back to the prison she's held in and further, her captor. "I don't know what you mean," she responded. "You have the entire kingdom in your grasp. Are you tired of it so soon?"
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 11:44 PM “I do not wish to rule, never did really. Nor do I seek the destruction I have been forced to commit. Shadow Link was not my doing you realize?”
SheikAPP 2:02 AM "How could he not be? He was responsible for you being freed." Zelda couldn't quite understand what was being implied here. "The Four Sword freed you and you took me away. My friend was deceived so that you could achieve your goals. Why only now are they undesirable?" She was truly confused. As it stood, he was the one that was set to receive benefits from it. She was trapped, he had the land right where he wanted it. Something about this wasn't coming together.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 8:27 AM “I didn’t take you or the maidens, remember? It was shadow Link that cast those sealing crystals, before I was released. Implying there is a greater force at work here than me. I am being used as a means to an end. I was permitted to know your location, and so I’m giving you what information I can, knowing you likely don’t trust me.”
SpoofAPP 8:29 AM Link and Sheik inexplicably feel something very, very, evil.

Link:fireball: 10:40 AM Link jumps as he watches Kentas. He was prepared to jump in to protect the Kokiri, but he was proud to not need to. As he gazes out in the water he feels something powerful rush over him. He thinks it is perhaps the waves rocking the boat and he grips the edge of the Wolfos and nearly falls to his knees. After a moment he mutters to Kentas, "I... will be right back." and slips back inside of the tavern looking for somebody.
SpoofAPP 1:31 PM Waves crash gently against the Wolfos as it rests on the sea. All is calm until the sea grows slightly fiercer, then it grows fiercer still as a deep groaning sound rumbles out, rattling the walls of the bar.
CRACK!
Another floating house crashes in to the Wolfos.
Lude:skull: 1:40 PM Lude jolts upright at the collision, jumping out of bed he rushes outside to see what Sayah's house hit.
"Another floating house? AHOY THERE! i hope we didn't cause too much damage! I have no idea what happened."
TikaAPP 1:44 PM At the sound of the crash Tika jumps out of bed. Still groggy with sleep she shambles over to Sayah's room.
"Great fairy Sayah, what happened?"
She opens the door and sees that both Netri and great fairy Sayah are fast asleep.
SheikAPP 4:43 AM "You could also be denying involvement to feign trust," Zelda spoke guardedly. "I don't trust you and I don't have any reason to. Yet," she added. She imagines something must be there, but she didn't want to open herself that quickly towards someone and risk herself. "Tell me everything I need to know and I'll determine for myself if I can trust you."
Brekaing his concentration, Sheik focuses his attention away and into his surroundings. He didn't like the feeling he just--"Mmph! There's something wrong." He'd stumbled, losing his balance from the jolt. Once it returned, he moved to leave the room, investigating what took place. A home has crashed into the Wolfos? Fair enough, but that feeling....it didn't compare to this. What was it?
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 7:02 AM The crash did not phase the wind sorcerer, but he stops the illusion at Sheik’s words and also leaves the room to investigate. “Well, another floating building, but what is it you felt? I know to take a premonition seriously, or even if it is something else, that is still cause for concern.”
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 7:08 AM Ignoring the return of the odd hum from the sheathed sword under his cloak, the grizzled ranger sat in peace watching Kentas catch more octoroks. The peace was inturrupted by the violent pitching and crashing sound of the tavern colliding with something large, sending his food and tea and most of the people to the floorboards. Jumping up with a muttered curse, his hands jump to the bow and quiver sitting nearby. Mel's head snaps around at the familiar sound of his former apprentices voice. Dashing around the side railing he sees Lude and calls out.
"Damned boy, havent you learned how to steer that blasted ruin of a house yet?"

Kentas 7:37 AM
Kentas grabbed the Octorok and used his dagger to harvest the Balloons the manager wanted. But he needed more, as he turned to continue fishing for some the ship-like Inn rocked heavily as another ship crashed into them, or what the little boy thought was a ship.
He fell to the wooden planks hard and scuffed his knees before looking up at the house, it was too familiar to the boy as he exclaimed. "Oh! It's Sayah's house! But then.. what of the village?" He pondered with worry as he gazed closer at the house.
Radella began to cower and hid under Kentas' hat, she could feel the Evil energy emanating from a distance, what or where was it?! It made her little fairy light dull and bleak as she continued to hide, wimpering softly into Kentas' tufts of hair.
HeronAPP 3:13 PM The raft casts a shadow over the submerged fort, Heron merely hums merrily as he looks down, "Should be close enough! Let's go!" Heron exclaimed as his body disappeared into the sea.
Much like a classic Zora, Heron uses his whole body to swim down to the stone structure, his eyes glance from side to side to make sure no Predators got the jump on them.
Lude:skull: 8:20 PM Lude perks up at the sound of Melkibren's voice and waves.
"Unfortunately there weren't any lessons on magic house piloting in the barracks."
Shura:crab: 8:26 PM Shura damn near fell over from the surprise ramming of the other house haveing been sitting in the geniral area of the inpact inside the wolfos although it wasent that much force just more so wasent expecting something to bash into the wolfos as it did and so close to him hearing ketna exclaim about it being the lady sayahs house being pioloted from lude in the distance made his head spin alittle " this lands magic...... confuses and astounds .....piloting a house doesnt sound like anything of normal means...." he scratched his head his arm now resting on his lap back to meditateing..
NoabAPP 10:52 PM "SHIIIIIP AHOOOOOOOOY!" calls the lookout, who apparently hasn't been doing his job very well. "Actually it's another building, looks like a house, but 'house ahoy' just doesn't sound right and I couldn't decide what to yell!"
Noab spits military euphamisms under his breath while picking himself up. >.U; "Damage control! Get us some distance from the other building!" he barks. The Zora workers jump back into action to tow the Crimson Wolfos aside from Saya's house.
SheikAPP 1:36 AM "I wish I knew what it was. It's different than what I've felt before. I'm not certain how to describe it," Sheik stated. It's an evil feeling for certain, but none that matched any previous darkness he's engaged with before. "I fear for the worst," he described gravely. "I wish to maintain hope. It must be with the wills of the Goddesses that we continue to meet with fellow adventurers, but what I felt is an unknown to me. I don't know how to face it."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 9:09 AM Mel runs and leaps the distance between the houses, landing lightly on his feet next to Lude and the floating houses begin to separate. Turning towards Lude, he clasps arms with the younger knight in the typical formal greeting between student and teacher, each man grasping the others inner forearm and using the other fist to beat once on the other persons shoulder. A symbolic gesture that originated from Hylian warriors making sure eachothers armor was secure before a battle.
"Good to see you alive and well. Figured you were too stubborn to keel over quite yet. Unfortunately, we dont have the grace of time to catch up yet. Vaati Picoru and a few other guests including a certain Sheikah and a certain Hero are gathered at the inn. Vaati is attempting to reconcile; Wether it is genuine or not remains to be seen. Raise Sayah, inform her of what I told you. And be careful."
Mel shifted his hip in an attempt to further ignore the odd hum that only he could hear from the sword
"The air doesnt feel right all of a sudden."
Irina:snowflake: 12:47 PM Something very evil is forming under this ocean, and its waters can tell. Irina takes a big breath of air and dives in, shivering for a moment for something she doesn't understand but can feel as soon as she is fully submerged. She swims down as fast as she can towards the tower, following Heron.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 9:21 AM “If you believe this may have something to do with the demon king, I can cast a scrying pool.” Vaati is genuinely worried now. There is only one dark force greater than Ganondorf, and if HE’S here, that can only be bad news.
LeithAPP 4:31 PM "Finally! Leith meows and struts her way from the Wolfos to the house, passing Lude and Melkibren.
TikaAPP 4:33 PM Tika walks outside to assess the damage done and sees the hunter.
"Oh hello good hunter! It's wonderful to see you safe."
Shura:crab: 4:55 PM Though deep in meditation shura couldent help but feel something was off his blade josttled him as his body begain to radiate an aura like small flames danceing across his body but radiateing no heat just pure energy the evil being trapped in his blade chuckled and licking his lips in shuras mind they were comunicateing while he meditated.... get to know your demons and all that ' seems like someone really evils come around... there energy smells sweet ....cant wait to taste it~ ' the demon cooed as shuras aura and the demons mixing and colideing in his still meditateing form giveing off an evil energy himself....
Link:fireball: 5:43 PM Link doesn't seem to notice the house crashing into the old tavern. He stumbles to Sheik as he reappears. The warrior's face is pale but determined. He sympathetically places a hand on Esava's shoulder as he passes him. He doesn't say anything to the sheikah but his eyes reveal a confused fear. He knows that his friend must have felt something. This is a moment for his wisdom.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 8:26 PM Mel jumps back to the tavern before the distance is too great and went back inside to assess the damage done during the pitching of the waves and the subsequent crashing of houses. Seeing Links changed demeanor, along with the near incessant humming of his blade set the former Captain on edge. He stood near the center of the now messy tavern and announced to everyone present
"We crashed into another floating house, but luckily it contains some helpful people, we should have more answers soon. We need lookouts in every direction, I have a feeling things are going to get much more interesting before long. Preferably ones not apt to naps Master Noab? Shura, report to the outside deck, youll be best in an open area should anything come to bear. Vaati, do what you can to find out what is happening and possibly why. You want to make Hyrules people trust you? Help protect them."
Moving to stand nearer to Link and Sheik, Mel starts checking the pull on his bowstring and making sure his equipment is all in place. Regaining his pack from where Leith had been laying on it he places it back under his cloak.
SheikAPP 9:19 PM "I have the impression it doesn't. Strange as it may sound, but it feels like a different kind of evil." Sheik begins. "As much as i would like to see the face of what or who it belongs to, I don't think it in our best interest to look into it. Magic can leave a trace and I don't know who will sense it and expose ourselves too soon." He looks from Vaati to Melkibren and Link, though still addressing the former. "He does have a point, however. The Princess would have made that her focus," he agreed with the knight in regard to helping the people. "It may not be the best way to integrate your forces, but perhaps they can be utilized as protectors at the moment. Lookouts who don't sleep, who can maintain their position for as long as needed. As for this new structure...it may be a boon in disguise."
Quite literally.
"We should keep the tavern and the home together. If there is any way to anchor the two together, then we should do so," he started to plan out his thoughts towards Link and Mel. "Vaati should be able to summon forces that can more than make up for the issues that the current lookouts and guards have. In addition, I will see about warding the two structures, but in order to do this, I will need to speak to the owner of the home to seek permission to ward theirs also. We'll have to hope our scavenging party returns with the materials we need. We don't have a way to move around until they return."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 8:53 AM Mel nods to Sheik in agreeance.
"I've already spoken to one of the people in the house. The owner should be along shortly, although you may already know the old crone."
Mel maintains eye contact purposefully longer than necessary with Sheik after speaking to make sure he picked the hint out of his sentence. Turning towards the door once again, Mel hefts a coil of rope laying neatly in the corner and heads out.
"Ill see about lashing the buildings together, Master Noab I may have to make short use of some of your people, ill compensate for any additional labor costs that may incur."
Lude:skull: 11:09 AM Lude makes his way to Sayah's room, muttering to himself the entire time, "First the world floods, now we work with Vaati? Strange times indeed."
Lude enters Sayah's room and gently rouses Sayah and Netri from their slumber. "It's time to wake, we found some friends."
Lude helps Sayah to her feet and scoops Netri into his arms.
Lude speaks to Sayah while they walk to the Wolfos.
"The house moved on its own, is that supposed to happen?"
SayahAPP 11:15 AM "Huhuhu who knows? I'm sure the house was just following a source of power, i am getting weaker you know."
Lude:skull: 11:23 AM "I believe that, I've never seen you sleep. The hero of time is here, as well as the evil wizard Vaati, they say he's on our side. I hope so."
Lude hops over to the Wolfos while holding Netri and helps Sayah across, not that she needed help as she hops the distance quite easily.
TikaAPP 11:30 AM Tika, at the front door of the Wolfos, pokes her head in to see who is inside. She is not sneaky however and is seen immediately.
She walks inside and waves.
"Good day everyone. It is good to find friends on the open seas."
NetriAPP 11:32 AM Zzzzz
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 12:03 PM As they emerge from Sayah's floating house, Mel can be seen perched atop a roof, barking orders to a few of the burlier Wolfos crew, fastening a dozen or so wooden planks between the two houses so each end was touching the other house. Held together to they wouldn't drift apart by rope, yet the boards kept the houses from directly contacting each other and causing damage while also serving as makeshift walkways. Seeing the group making their way to the Wolfos, Mel waves and hops down from the vantage point and makes his way over to them.
NoabAPP 11:03 PM Noab blinks as events unfold around him. o.U They're fastening the two buildings together? Why? Who gave the order on this, and on what authority? I mean, maybe it is a good idea, and Noab can tell Melkibren has strong military experience, which he respects...but this outpost is Noab's command, consarnit! >.U; "Would somebody brief me on what's going on here?! I don't see why the establishment I was charged with overseeing is being annexed to a civilian residence!"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 2:43 AM Mel puts a hand on Noabs shoulder and turns him towards the apparent tangle of ropes, which only Mel and Noab himself coukd actually recognize, and possibly Lude if he didnt sleep entirely through the survival rope classes. A series of slip pulls knots held the boards fastened to a rail, all connected to one main rope that a worker with arms the size of children held an end of.
"Should you give the command. That man has one task, 'pull as hard as possible'. When he does, the houses float apart again, free and clear. Now, as for why, the people in that civilian residence include the only person that knows best about what is going on are here, and why your regal establishment happens to be stationed several thousand meters above where it originally sat."
Lude:skull: 6:13 AM Lude slept entirely through survival rope classes

Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 7:48 PM Vaati, first went to investigate the evil presence through the least intrusive method, power level scanning, which leaves next to no trace. He doesn’t know for sure, but it seems from that information, it is worst-case-scenario. Majora is in Hyrule. He then proceeds to outfit miniature defensive turrets, compliments of Edu’s technology, onto the strategic points of the two buildings. They are linked to his sentry network and will not shoot at the people on board, only perceived threats, and can be deactivated via a remote. He gives the remote to Noab, as the technical captain of the vessel, “This will deactivate the guardian sentries if necessary, if you need troop support, I will be happy to provide it.” Vaati then approaches Sheik and states, “We may have a problem.”
SheikAPP 11:44 PM "He's right. The occupants in that house may assist us and increase our survival being together. I apologize for not saying anything sooner. I had to think in the moment and it was the best option I could think of in the moment," Sheik apologized to Noab, although he did feel what he did was the correct course of action. "Waiting for sails will be easier for us with the two places conjoined. In fact, once they do return with the materials, we should make haste to stitch them together into a working construct. We shouldn't stay here for very long," he then looked to Vaati, picking up on his tone. "Problems seem to be the norm for what we're dealing with here. How can I add it to the list?" He joked drily. He wasn't exactly a funny joke type, more like grating sandpaper on stone.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 7:42 AM “Well, I did a power level scan, and picked up a dark signature stronger than Ganondorf. That really can only mean one of two things, either this is something new and never before seen in Hyrule, or it’s the dark god himself. I hope not, but I have a suspicion it’s the later.”
NetriAPP 11:58 PM ZzzZzzzzZzzZz
HeronAPP 4:51 AM Closing in on the underwater structure, Heron approaches the 'front door' and begins to pry it open against the water pressure sealing it up. He turns and smiles to Irina, extending a hand inwards to the base, "After you!" He states clearly.
The water continued to feel off and Heron couldn't help but look into the distance, nothing could be seen after a couple hundred yards, due to the hazey-foggy effect the sea gave off.
Heron drew his sword in case he needed to cut, pry or bash his way through the place, but at least he knew he had the key for the armoury.
Shura:crab: 8:36 AM Shura cocked an eye to them as he cracked his neck makeing a few audioable cracks as he shot up from where he was legs still folded at the hight of his movements only for both legs to come uncrossed and land on the ground in the span of only split seconds two solid but flowing like water movemnts as it dident even make a thud at that speed it should have made a thud but nothing.... "being cooped up in here is starting to bug me if tools are brought i know a thing or two of ships if anyone comes our way ill be glad to fight them a warriors place is in battle ! " shura smiled brightly he felt the dark evergys both alittle frightened and at the same time excited... that would make a very intresting fight to come this way but to many others were here.... keeping them safe was now there yes both the demon and shuras top priority as he radiated his aura of both
Irina:snowflake: 3:51 PM Without hesitation, the barmaid swims into the base of the structure, knowing she will need to head back up to the surface for air soon. She looks around for anything useful... banners, weapons, anything. She is not holding any weapons, as she does not need them here -- water itself is her weapon.
SayahAPP 5:23 PM After Sayah boards the Wolfos, she strolls over to the bar area to rummage through Noab's things to make herself a cold drink, she then takes a seat next to Kentas. "Having fun on your adventure Kokiri boy? Radella?" She takes a sip of her drink.
LexaAPP 5:27 PM Lexa pops out from under Kentas' cap. "Me too! Don't forget me!" Lexa flutters around Sayah.
SayahAPP 5:27 PM "Of course! i could never forget you."
LexaAPP 5:28 PM ^_^
Kentas 6:03 PM Kentas smirks as he hauls the few balloons acquired from the Octoroks and presents them to Noab before coming back over to Sayah, "Of course! But I am so confused.. I have never seen so much water before! Until we get some sails I would say this is more like a vacation than an adventure. What happened to your house? I didn't expect you guys to be crashing into us!"
SayahAPP 7:45 PM "I've never seen this much water either, the three goddesses flooded the world to protect Hyrule and to seal Ganondorf inside the castle. Glad they did that, however because they flooded the world the great fairies have lost access to our fountains and our magic. Have you talked to Leith? I bet she's quite grumpy about this situation huhuhu!" Sayah laughed, then rubbed her chin.
"I didn't expect to crash into anyone either, i wasn't aware the house was even moving! I was asleep, first time too! I quite like it. I bet the house sensed strong magic and followed."
SheikAPP 8:59 PM "Who is this dark god? It is clearly someone we should be concerned of and wary about. That evil I felt, though I am familiar with Ganondorf, was...strange. Foreign, even. I didn't like that I couldn't identify it," he closed his eyes thoughtfully. "Hmm," he zeroed in on Shura. "There may be something here to cobble together to use for ship purposes, bout you would have to ask the proprietor," he gestured to Noab. "But, if you are feeling inclined to train, perhaps you can be of use to Vaati's forces. They will be acting as sentries, but if this evil is to be contended with in some way, we'll need them prepared for war, I imagine. If it will help satisfy those urges you're experiencing." Only a thought.
His eyes then open and he spots Sayah. He walks over to the bar and stands before it to address her, only briefly acknowledging Kentas with a nod of his head. "I made the call for the two establishments to be joined together. I didn't consult you, but I felt I needed to do what was expedient. I now wish to ask you that now the two places are joined, we can ward them both. I have Sheikah abilities at my disposal to place something powerful enough in place, but having your permission may help strengthen this protection," he spoke with an implied hint of who she was, but he didn't feel it bore revealing to the rest of the room.
SayahAPP 9:33 PM "Sure sure, do what you need to dearie." Like Leith Sayah knew who she was.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 9:40 PM “His name is, Majora. According to all known documents, he is the brother of the goddesses of Hyrule; Din, Nayru, Farore, and Hylia. More than that, he rules over darkness, chaos, and space; the opposite universal forces to Hylia, whose domain is light, order, and time. He has only one goal, to bring everything back to zero, into the primordial chaos from which the universe was born. He is actually the one who created the Demon King Demise, whose hate is reborn in Ganondorf.” Noticing the great fairy Sayah, Vaati also says, “Is there anything you know about him I don’t? I just have the knowledge of my own experiences and books. Would a being of magic like yourself know more about the dark god than simple historians of old?”
HeronAPP 7:16 AM Noticing her predicament, Heron scanned around before smirking as he darted off to a portion of the room that had created an Air Pocket. Using his strength in the water, Heron moved some rubble and trash out of the way, making it more accessable to Irina should she need it.
Heron than began going room or room on the first floor, looking for some banners, in one room a whole crew room sat before him, all the furniture swept and thrown around by the sudden flooding. On the walls decorated three banners delicately floating in the water as if it was getting a nice breeze.
Using his sword, Heron made clean cuts at the fastenings holding them up on the walls, he turned and looked behind him he thought he saw something swim around in the corner of his eye. Taking a chance to look out the closest embrasure. Nothing. Not even any distant Octoroks or Skull Fish.. strange. Heron became more on guard now, he got the feeling that they might not be alone.
Irina:snowflake: 3:53 PM Irina notices the air pocket and makes her way there, taking some air. "Thank you." Having a source of oxygen halfway to the surface really helps.
Submerging again, Irina goes to the next room and starts exploring. It's darker, but she can spot a couple of swords with sheaths and a small bow. After picking them up and examining them, she hangs them across her shoulder. They are old and rusty but will be useful to the group, she thinks.
For now. she has not noticed whatever Heron thought he saw - So she continues exploring.

SheikAPP 9:05 PM
"I will wait until you have enjoyed your comforts before pursuing anything further. I'll need your help," Sheik stepped back from the counter to scan the room over and land back on Vaati. "It's strange you mention this name. I feel like it's something we should know, but has been hidden from us. We have no mentions of a Majora in Hyrule records. At least, not any of this time. We have..." His voice trailed off. He wasn't quite so ready to see Sayah's presence revealed, but he'd roll with it.
"Being an elder of Kakariko, I'm certain she knows much and has trained in the art of magic in her life. It is not unheard of in that village. Enough people dabble there, but few can call themselves as experienced as Sayah," he continued. "I would not discredit our historians, however. The civil war that ravaged these lands likely came at great cost and furthered by Ganondorf's hands. Perhaps this chaos is exactly what was needed to reintroduce Majora to the land. By not knowing of him, that could have given him the time he needed to make his plans." He's speculating, but experience tells him this is how these things go. Ganondorf waited seven years for him to reveal himself. How much more could that be said of a dark god?
Shura:crab: 5:47 PM Shura smiled his mask covering his eyes made it easyer for him to hide the glowing hue behind them but not by much " war .... mmmm " he leaned his right arm to his face giveing his chin a rub before chuckleing "majora ......gannon... link.... vaati... shiek all of there fighting ability i can feel it all in the air something tells me were bout to get lively" he muttered in his head the demon takeing note of there names he would do well to remember them as he walked out and hopped up to the top of the establishments now acting as a fellow gaurd of the building
HeronAPP 5:45 PM After going around checking for the shadows that Heron thought he saw.. nothing though. He pushed on, swimming around the other rooms before bumping into Irina, giving her a thumbs up as he has the three banners tucked into his belt.
The water was still and then suddenly a bright light shines through every crack in the fortress, the light was blinding and it felt extremely unusual. Heron couldn't place it, it just felt off.. which was confirmed by what was the mental yell of a deep voiced man, echoing through his head before quietly leaving everything as it was again.. "Woah.." Heron uttered before shivering in the water, "That was horrible.. let's hurry up and get back to the raft!" He spoke with urgency, not that anything was coming there way, but that he just felt off now.
RevaliAPP 11:02 AM He wasn't sure how... But when the flood started, Revali had instinctually flown upward with a Gale. He was now high in the sky, looking down for any sign of his friends.
SayahAPP 12:42 AM Sayah makes herself comfortable where she sits and takes a long breath.
"I know a legend, not sure if it's true but it goes like this."
Sayah takes a long sip of the wine she took from Noab's bar.
"Long ago, when the world was naught but chaos and space, there lived a mighty dragon. He lived by himself for thousands of years, undisturbed by man. One day a mysterious traveler approached the beast. The dragon, with sharp teeth and claws bared, asks him why he came. I'm only looking for a place to rest, the man says. The beast, not believing him, tells him his story. I am Majora, with my armored scales i am able to grant wishes. From distant lands men have travelled to demand wishes from me and i have devoured them all for their greed. Majora expects the man to be scared but he simply pulls out a drum and starts playing a beat. Why do you continue to live if there's no one here to live with you? The man asks him.
Majora begins to question his existance and longs for a sense of time's passage in his life.
Dance for me and you'll feel like you're truly living, the man says to Majora and spurred on by the music he does, he dances for three days straight and on the fourth falls over dead. The man tricked Majora into defeat so he could finally rest.
Walking up to the remains, he plucks one of Majora's feathers and carves a mask out of his armored scales sealing his power within it forever."
Sayah takes another sip from Noabs wine.
"That's the legend i know. If it's real then we need to learn the song, put him to rest once more. The great fairies would know, but as the world is on the cusp of rebirth, our source to Hyrule's wellspring of magic is severed and with it our access to our ancient knowledge."
LeithAPP 12:44 AM "Momoka would know... i bet she still has her fountain in that moving castle of hers. Or Ardath.. if she still lives."
Leith says trotting her way towards Sayah and the group.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 12:58 AM “Interesting, assuming the man in this tale is the fierce deity, it does line up with my historical texts, and even provides the method of which he defeated Majora. However, it does also mention in the texts that the method used, a song if this legend is true, also imprisoned the fierce deity within a mask of his own. Using this song could be the key to victory, but at a cost.” Vaati mused on the words of the great fairy. Then felt the disturbance from below, “Well, that’s not good.”
LeithAPP 10:46 AM Leith's fur bristles. "Not good at all."
Irina:snowflake: 11:46 AM Irina smiles to Heron, nodding as she sees the banners he found. She goes back to the air pocket, taking another deep breath of air before submerging again. And then, just like everybody else, feels something that seems very wrong, and paralyzes for a moment in the water.
Nodding to Heron with a very concerned face, she swims quickly back to the raft, placing the weapons she found on top of it as soon as she gets there. "What... was that?" she asks Heron while looking back down to the water. She obviously does not want to stay to find out.
MiphaAPP 9:39 PM Mipha flew up into the air from the water, landing on the raft gently. She raises up slowly and smiles at them. "Good to see you guys are alright!" She says, relieved to know that they were okay. "But... Where's Revali?" She asks, scanning the raft.
SheikAPP 10:30 PM Sheik listened carefully to the story. He may have felt briefly perturbed by it, but only because it was simply a story. However, as they tend to go, there are truths to them and it seems the response from Sayah and Vaati are lining up enough that it could be seen as real. That and he doubts either one of them would have any reason to weave a tale about this sort of predicament. "I think we should invest some effort into learning more about what this song is and perhaps seeing about the other element of that story. The Fierce Deity as he's called," he states, ignoring the sensation he felt stirring around.
"I think we should also consider having everyone prepare themselves. Any guests here should head to their rooms and or find reinforced spaces to take cover in. Anyone capable of fighting should dedicate themselves to battle," he mentioned cryptically. "It seems there are some lurking dangers that may find themselves upon us or others we hold dear."
Shura:crab: 10:53 PM Shura unlike the others feeling this off feeling smiled brightly the auras mixing now burning brighter agenst his skin in fact so brightly that even those who couldent see auras normaly could feel it shura and the demon were excited this presence they felt shift below the sea he couldent tell what it was but there was something down there powerfull.... intresting indeed more intresting how much shura actuly ended up agreeing with the demon and vice versa there conversation started as they intently staired down into the sea
" thats odd ...... more and more powerfull things are showing up welling into one place " shura spoke to the demon in his headspace as it scratched its shadowy chin under the heavy chains that trapped it visualy "they too are drawn here to this land like us maybe theres a larger game here but that matters not there energys are so delectible smelling i do hope we get to meet in the future...... " the demon chuckled as they were both startled by mipha jumping abord.
hearing sheik in the background of things he called back to him " a fight comeing our way or something if so im ready "
NoabAPP 3:39 PM Noab blinks. "BATTLE STATIONS!!!" he roars, and the staff scrambles to their designated places. Weapons are quickly passed out, and every window is covered by archer and spearman. Noab catches his own claymore as it's tossed to him, then looks back to Sheik. "You wanna be a little more specific about these lurking dangers? I don't like calling battle stations on a false alarm, though I'd rather have that than actually being attacked." >/
NetriAPP 11:19 AM Netri wakes up at the sound of Noab's shouting. "WAAHHH! are we fighting? I don't have my killie knife!"
Netri tries to wiggle out of Lude's arms.
Lude:skull: 12:07 PM Lude's grasp is too strong for Netri to just wiggle out of. "We'll be fine. No need for you to get a knife, go back to sleep."
Irina:snowflake: 12:11 PM Irina is still placing weapons on the raft when the Queen herself lands on it. "Your Majesty, it's great to see you are safe. I have not seen Revali... neither one. Was he supposed to be with us?" She looks back at Heron, wondering if he knows anything.
MiphaAPP 1:06 PM Mipha smiles and steps up to Irina as she speaks. "I... I believe he was with us, yes..." She mumbles quietly, looking up above them. "Maybe he took to the skies when the flood came..?"
RevaliAPP 1:08 PM Revali was scanning the area for a while before finally seeing the raft below. He blinked for a moment before nosediving down and flipping to land talons first on the raft, slowing himself quickly with a quick, hard flap of his wings. "Quiet down, quiet down, no need to applause. I know you guys missed me." Revali smirks and looks over at Irina, giving a small wink.
Irina:snowflake: 3:15 PM Finally climbing on the raft, a soaked Irina watches confused as somebody just lands from the sky. Seeing it's Revali, she grins warmly, chuckling a bit at the wink and coming closer to give her friend a hug. "It's good to have you back, Revali. What did you see from above? Is the entire Hyrule flooded?" Maybe he saw something that could help everybody.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 3:35 PM After everything settled down at the Wolfos, Vaati again speaks to Sheik, “Being a former Villain myself, I don’t think the Dark God will show himself anytime soon. He may send minions or followers for now, but a master plan usually takes time and patience. For now, we could resume our private discussion, unless you’ve heard enough of course.”
SheikAPP 9:28 PM Admittedly, he may have made a mistake, but saying it aloud would ruin his mystique, so he doesn't. Sheik did get to observe how quickly people scrambled and prepared themselves for an attack. In that case, he believes that the people here are in good hands. The people may look like blundering fools and maybe a few of them are, but when it comes time to defend this place, they hop to it.
"The dangers, whatever they have done, seem to have subsided. I dislike evil that moves and slithers like a baby dodongo. It makes them less predictable," he states calmly to Noab. "Although, your workers and volunteers are admirable. I was not expecting such a quick response, but I suppose I shouldn't have expected any less," he continued. "This water, albeit a temporary blessing, does have its disadvantages. It is much harder to know the enemy when it seems most active outside of our reach."
He then looks to Shura, "I do not believe a fight is headed toward us. Not anymore. As it stands, our goal still remains the same. To turn this Inn into a sea worthy vessel. We'll have to wait for the return of the others. Perhaps we may also question what they've seen of what lurks in the depths."
His attention finally falls on Vaati. "I can resume our private discussion. Until then, I believe we should all participate in some form of service to the Inn. If anyone knows an instrument, perhaps they can play or has any other ability to share? Something that can lift the spirits in what feels like dark times."
Link:fireball: 6:52 PM Link picks up his ocarina and begins to play a song for Sheik. He can't help but play somber notes with all of the heavy news. Perhaps seeing his princess that just appeared on the raft will lift his spirits.

Shura:crab: 7:25 PM Shura chuckled alittle his aura lowering with a semi disapointed sigh but he looked at the wto buildings he could make a ship but he would need a dock to do so .... or he could manage but he would need the meterials for it alot more wood and something for more ropes and ehat even for a sail ..... he causealy walked back around ro see exactly what he needed " if theres no fight comeing ill need meterials to turn us into something seaworthy and maybe some tools or even neterials for tools "
RevaliAPP 7:36 PM "For all I could see, yeah... Things are pretty much water in most areas." Revali replied somewhat somberly, before pepping up and leaning in close to Irina, proclaiming, "Not too worry, though, your savior saw a chain of land to the north of us." He smiles and gives his friend a hug. "Hang on tight, I'll show you!" He shouts, before Galing straight into the air, waiting to release her body once she grabs hold. Or she falls.... Maybe. Eh, he'll just catch her and look cool doing it. :sunglasses:
Rome:star2: 7:41 PM Rome... Didn't expect this to happen. When it began to flood, he swiftly grabbed the nearest plank of wood. How he managed to get over here from Kakariko would forever be a mystery to him.
He could now see the Wolfos-turned-ship in the distance and began to shout. "HELP!!!"
Lude:skull: 10:15 PM Lude upon hearing the shouts of someone nearby springs into action. He puts Netri down and sprints toward the sound grabbing a length of rope and a few bottle gourds on the way.
Spotting the man he ties the gourds, makes a lasso and throws it as far as he could towards him. The rope makes it close enough to him, but he would have to swim to it. "GET TO THE ROPE AND I'LL PULL YOU IN!!"
NetriAPP 10:18 PM Netri also springs into action, not to help the man though, to find a new killie knife.
Irina:snowflake: 12:05 PM A chain of land... Probably the mountain range, Irina thinks. But she doesn't have much time to think before she's taken up in the air! She holds onto Revali tight, not falling... at least for now.
SpoofAPP 4:49 PM As Revali and Irina look upon the distant mountains, they also see Vaati’s palace of winds and the beginnings of a farming community inhabited by monsters bearing the Wind Sorcerer’s insignia on banners around the encampment.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 6:54 AM Mel watches the various action of the crew and people, half in thought and half listening. Upon Sheik's suggestion, he began jokying his hands around, knives suddenly appearing in his hands as he did. The erratic movements flowed together until Mel was deftly juggling 3 small knives. He started with a small circle, then went into a double loop, which flowed into Mel tossing the knives around the backs of his hands with a flourish. After performing a few tossing tricks Mel hears the cry for help of a familiar vouce and spring into action to help Lude. The larger apprentice would do most of the pulling with Mel knelt at the railing ready to pull Rome onto the deck.
HeronAPP 2:22 PM Heron was quick as he darted up onto the raft placing the banners down before shooting off below, back to the fort. Inside he climbed the sunken stairs and made it to the mentioned room.
The key given to Heron slid out of his pouch, glistening a shiny silver colour in the low light of the second floor. The Zora, slipped it into the lock and gave it a sharp twist, a gurgled pop could be made out as the lock fell off weightlessly away from the door.
Heron pryed the door open and glanced inside, the room was definitely an armoury but it would be hard to take all of this stuff! Grabbed a dozen sheathed swords, Heron stuffed them into his armpit, his arm and his pecs squeezing them tightly together. His free hand grabbed at some more banners decorating the armoury before swimming off back to the raft.
Bursting from the surface, Heron made a splash-tastic entrance as he makes a perfect landing on the deck of the raft. A smirk sitting on his face as he plants the swords and other banners onto the pile, "Well there is more to grab, but I don't see anything down there.. it's kind of strange! But I am sure we can handle it." His voiced chirping in a singsong as he glances to the Queen and Revali.
Shura:crab: 12:20 PM Shura scratched his chin looking to haron as he hopped abord grinning alittle as he said there was more things to drag up from the place below them " um haron was it ? How much is down there if we can get more i can drag it up if we have a long enough rope or chain ? "
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 12:59 PM “Very well,” Vaati states as he leads Sheik back into the empty room. He recasts all the necessary spells, and the vision of the past resumes. The past Vaati turns to face Zelda and calmly speaks, “You know of an object called the Dark Mirror yes? That is the source of the shadow Links, a physical object that I would be unable to interact with while imprisoned. Also, as until recently, the mirror was heavily guarded in the temple of darkness, it was freed by someone else. I would say who, but I am forbidden by magics to say anything revealing their identity.”
NetriAPP 10:09 PM Netri follows purple man and weird boy to the room but is unable to enter, she can't hear anything either.
Netri decides to make faces at the room.
"Blehlehhlehhhh wooloolooo"
Kentas 3:21 PM Kentas walks up to Netri and also makes some faces at the room before taking a glass and resting it against the door, trying to overhear their conversation. "Huh.. this usually works in the stories I have read? What is that room made of?" The Kokiri grumbles before turning to Netri with a scrunched up expression.
"Let's go Netri! We can have our own secret conversations too!" He suggests, walking away from the room, hands resting behind his head as he kicks his feet up dramatically with each step.
NetriAPP 8:11 AM Netri whispers "Secrets" and follows Kentum also trying to kick her feet dramatically but stumbles because she doesn't have proper balance like Kentum.
Rome:star2: 5:32 AM It took Rome a minute... He wasn't the best swimmer... But he made it to the Rope... All he needed now was to be pulled aboard...
RevaliAPP 10:25 PM Revali stays pretty silent while things go on for a while after showing Irina the chain of islands. He seemed pretty keen to go there though, as he kept looking in the direction of the islands.
Irina:snowflake: 10:24 AM Irina watches the palace in the distance. “I wonder if that is the palace Vaati was talking about...” she replies. She is curious about it but also needs to take the supplies back to the Wolfos with Heron. “We should probably get back down...” Also, she’s literally hanging and her grip on Revali won’t last forever.
RevaliAPP 10:34 AM Revali noticed this and wraps his wings around her and drops down at insane speeds, swooping and looping to slow himself down immensely before landing on his talons on the ground... He hadn't quite released Irina...
Lude:skull: 8:26 PM Lude pulls the man aboard and Tika wraps a blanket around him.
"You're lucky i heard your shouting friend, are you going to be okay?"
Irina:snowflake: 3:22 PM Irina had never fallen that high, that quickly before. It was a strange feeling, but she couldn’t say it was completely unpleasant. Maybe somebody should invent roller coasters in Hyrule..,
“That was... fun,” Irina says with a chuckle, looking up to Revali. “Maybe we can take these supplies back to the Wolfos, and also tell them about the palace we just saw.”
SheikAPP 6:57 PM Sheik follows Vaati back into the room and resumes from where they left off. He still didn't know what to make of all this, but this definitely didn't feel like any one he knew. This Zelda, that is. Whoever she is she's from a time he's unfamiliar with and didn't know what to make of this situation outside of gleaning some information from his former interaction.
"I want to believe you, but I'm still skeptical, even if your story seems to follow some logic. If not you then who else could it be?" Granted, Zelda knew there were other forms of darkness that manifested in Hyrule, but she wanted to squeeze as much as she could out of this.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 11:01 AM “I am forbidden to speak of who they are, however, a loop hole I discovered is I can say describe who they were. A Gerudo man broke the ancient laws of his people, and traveled to the Great Pyramid that lay within the vast desert. There, he found a trident, one that belonged to an ancient evil. He took the weapon, then used the mirror to deceive you and Link into freeing me. He asserted his power over me, and is forcing my hand to do the things I have done to this kingdom. This ancient evil, he became it, so I cannot name it as that is who he currently is.”
Link:fireball: 3:33 PM Link puts away his ocarina and runs to see who Lude and Melkibren are pulling aboard. He recognizes Rome and kneels down next to him, "Wow, where did you come from?"
Rome:star2: 10:47 PM "I was in Kakariko..." Rome speaks, straightening up and looking to Link. Rome was just thankful he managed to hold onto his greatsword when it flooded. If he lost that, he'd never be able to live with himself. He crosses his arms before speaking again. "What happened? What do we have planned?"
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 7:51 AM "Its a waiting game for now until supplies return. As far as we have discerned, the Goddesses flooded Hyrule after Ganon set it on fire. If you want more details, head inside and grab some warm food and dry off by the fire." Mel gestures, taking in Rome dripping all over the deck
Irina:snowflake: 12:29 PM Irina jumps back in the water and helps push the raft back to the Wolfos. Climbing back onto the raft, she starts bringing the soaked supplies into the inn, hoping they will still be useful.
Then, raindrops start falling, as if Hyrule needed more water. Thunder can be heard in the distance; a storm is approaching.
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 10:18 PM Mel helps Irina in pulling the supplies in. Once everything is settled, he looks over yhe weapons. The swords in their scabbards were properly oiled, and still glimmered as the light reflected off the polished steel. The spears were capped and oiled as well, the blades were good but the wooden shafts had become waterlogged and brittle. The shields made of specially hardened steel was likewise protected, the Golden triforce laid on a field of lavender still sparkled strong. The leather bands had held up fairly well due to being treated, but could do with a replacement at some point.
Satisfied with their condition, Mel relayed his assessment to Noab and suggested tying down anything important while gesturing out with window at the ominous grey clouds gathering in the distance. Storms are much worse when there's nothing solid under you.
SheikAPP 6:12 AM Zelda's cheeks puffed slightly enough into a pout, but it disappeared. The only thing left remaining was a frown of mixed frustration and determination. A Gerudo man did all this? She wasn't even aware the Gerudo could have men. She almost considered this enough to retaliate, but giving it some further thought, the Gerudo never wished to go into that Pyramid, knowing the history it had. In fact, they were always guardians... "I believe you. As much as I don't want to say I do, but your story appears to hold enough water that I can't deny what's happened in it readily," Zelda speaks to Vaati. "What do you want me to do?"
Irina:snowflake: 7:34 PM Irina thanks Melkibren for his help and does not even worry to change into some dry clothes before she gets back into the kitchen - She'll probably be out in the water soon anyway.
The storm has already broken outside and she looks through a window. Who knows how many people are still out there without a home. After making sure everybody in the Wolfos has enough food and water - and a room for the night, she walks up to Link and the group. "What do we do now?" A simple question with a not-so-easy answer.
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 4:29 PM “I only request that, even if I cannot be forgiven my past actions, you hear my reasons for doing what I did involving the Picori blade and the first princess.” Vaati pauses for a moment, I then also says, “ Regarding the one behind the current situation, I believe the Four Sword does have the power to defeat him, however I hope that you are practiced in light magic to ensure victory.”
SheikAPP 4:56 PM Sheik's attention is briefly drawn away from the visions as stirrings beyond the room indicate activity. It seems the crew has returned. I will hear your reasons and as for my magic ability, all I can have is confidence in the face of having no other options left." Zelda spoke with determination. As for what takes place in the present, Sheik begins to address Vaati saying, "We may not have seen through enough of the visions, but I believe I have some understanding now. I can only hope that the lengths you've gone through to show me these doesn't result in misfortune, but as it stands, you have my trust. In similar fashion to the Zelda of that time, I have no other options and must use what I have carefully." He was cautious, to say the least but sounded sincere. "Given I now have this Light Force, perhaps this blade may see us through these dark times, but our focus must now be placed on the crew. It seems they have returned."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 10:23 PM “Of course,” the Vaati of the present responds to Sheik. Undoing the magics he states, “Beyond that point in the conversation, there’s just my long and tragic past, which we can discuss at a later time.” Though, even as he says this, it is clear that he is holding back some strong emotion. Whether or not Sheik realizes what exactly his feelings are, Vaati only shows that moment of vulnerability before he regains his stoic composure.
SheikAPP 8:53 PM "Now that you all have successfully returned, we must commence work on making this inn seaworthy. As it stands, it can only float, but it may work to our benefit to make it into a moving vessel. We may encounter people, perhaps even acquire goods and materials for building proper boats. All this will lead us towards our goal of obtaining the Triforce of Wisdom. As long as it remains in the wrong hands, the balance of this world and the Sacred Realm will be thrown into chaos." Sheik explained. "But, rest is in order. It would be unreasonable to begin working again after returning from your trip."
TikaAPP 4:29 PM Tika heads to great fairy Sayah's house and returns with blankets for most everyone. She does a quick sweep of the bar room of the wolfos and lays the blankets down. "Hopefully there's enough blankets for everyone."
SheikAPP 9:52 PM "That should be enough for the returning party and those here," Sheik spoke, walking up to Tika through the small crowd. "I'm certain that the others are grateful. With their trip complete, we can begin some patchwork and assemble sails. Do you have any experience in sewing or stitching? If so, your help would be appreciated."
TommyAPP 7:44 PM Tommy, who totally hasn't been so quiet all this time due to filching extra rations from the kitchen, takes one of the blankets and twists it around himself, forming a sort of makeshift deku flower to snuggle down in. He then somehow manages to make all of himself except his bushy top disappear under it. :seedling: He pops back up, though, after Sheik speaks. "Snitchin'? Who's a snitch? Sure ain't me, guv! Didn't do nothin' t'snitch about, neithah!" >.>
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 8:32 PM “Not that much I can do with talents that don’t involve magic.” Vaati replies to Sheik regarding the stitching, “I could try my luck at fabricating the cloth together magically, and as the wind mage, you’ll have favorable winds and calm seas whilst I’m around.”
SheikAPP 8:36 PM Sheik hears the rustling and fuss going on, but only tunes into it towards the tail end of the chatter. "Stitch," he corrected simply. "I need people who can stitch, sew or has skill in a related area," he continued. "If you're here, I'm assuming you do not associate well with ill will and vile misdeeds." He hadn't observed the stealing, having only heard the outbursts of confusion that resulted from it. Though, his tone suggested he wasn't addressing Tommy's actions directly.
His gaze met Vaati as he spoke, nodding as he finished. "I would prefer we have assistance that does not rely on magic for the time being. It will work better towards integrating people into a common cause."
TikaAPP 12:14 AM Tika perks up at Sheik's question, "Of course! I can sew, stitch, knit, crochet, make pottery, cook, clean and i'm the best nursemaid in all of Kakariko! I have a special sense for when the little ones are up to no good."
Tika approaches Tommy, "Netri? Were you stealing food from the kitchen? How many times have i told you no steal.." Tika pulls the blanket away "AH!" She screams.
"Oh!" pant "A Deku?" pant I didn't know you were here i'm sorry, still though, please return the food you stole."
Tika points at the small bundle of food around Tommy.
"Nice to meet you by the way. I'm Tika, I've not had much opportunities to talk to Dekus."
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 7:18 AM "Bit of a rough hand, but I manage to keep my clothes hole free here and there." Mel grumbles from his corner where he had sat down with another mug of tea and was shuffling through his notes again.
"We will also need a way to steer. Something this size would require at least two tills working in tandem."
SayahAPP 8:30 PM "Those gifted with magic can pilot my house, otherwise it might start drifting away again looking for a source of magic, that's how we got here in the first place you know huhuhu i think it wanted to get to Vaati."
Vaati Picoru:raising_hand: 3:38 PM “Odd, usually Sources of light magic flee from my magical signature, unless of course it somehow sensed a change in my intentions. In any case, I will be happy to help in any way I can. Is there somewhere you would like me to take the house or keep it anchored here to the Wolfos?”
TommyAPP 5:36 PM A special sense that causes her to confuse a Hylian girl with a deku scrub? >.> Must be pretty powerful. Tommy gives Tika his best innocently confused look. "Return it? I ain't taken it anywhere! Still here in th'same buildin', ain't it?" Tommy doffs his acorn with roguish charm. "Pleasure t'make your aquittance, duchess. I'm Tommy Twiggins, adventurer extra-ordin-air. 'Ave ya already met me mate Esava? 'E's the one with the healthy green color to 'is face, though 'e's only been that way recently. Seagoin' life must agree wi' him." :slightly_smiling_face:
EsavaAPP 7:03 PM The brown-skinned native of the desert hasn't moved from his spot in the corner. He just sort of sits there, elbows propped on knees with his head hanging low. Hearing his name getting thrown out by his partner in introductions, he sort of shakily raises his hand to wave, before lowering it back down.
SpoofAPP 7:33 PM "Hooiiii!"
With more and more Hylians taking to the high seas for longer periods of time, their skills on the water are steadily increasing. People set out from Kakariko and other islands to make trade or to transport others. Others meanwhile continue to look for survivors, hoping to find lost family or friends. One particular boat, fitted with a couple of sails and a crew that's reasonably young, is a mapping trawler. This group have taken it upon themselves to map the seas and islands, reporting back to Kakariko with their information.
Thus when they spot the floating Crimson Wolfos? They sail right in close, clearly intent on making contact. The thin man in the crows peak waves his arms about wildly, calling out to anyone that might be inside the inn.
"Weigh anchor, ya filthy sea dogs!" A young man cries, wearing a sailing hat with matching eye patch.
"I told you, stop calling us that! We aren't dogs! We're adventurers!" A zora retorts, clearly bothered by being called a canine.
"Adventure?" A goron questions. Yep, there's a goron on the boat too. Fortunately he's not too big, or he might make the thing sink! "I thought we were making maps?"
"We are! But we can have adventures too."
"Hm. Okay."
The bright blue coloured hull stops short then as the sound of an anchor falling down through the water can be heard.
"Is anyone inside the inn? Hello?" The man with the hat calls again, furrowing his brow in some concentration.
NoabAPP 8:45 PM "SHIP AHOY!!!" bellows the inn's lookout, glad to finally have an encounter to report that accurately fits that phrase. Some of the more aquatically-handy staffers head out onto the porch to toss securing lines to the other vessel. Noab makes do with peering out the window. "Unknown vessel, this is the Crimson Wolfos Inn!" Noab barks. "Despite the unusual circumstances, we are open for business! Two-day rations are available for thirty rupees each!" Yup, the price has already shot up, although not quite as much as it would have if Noab wasn't anticipating resupplies from Vaati's minions. Link and company are lucky they got in early.
SpoofAPP 4:58 PM As the zora and goron secure their ship upon the offered up lines, the fellow who looks to be the 'Captain' waltzes up to the bow. Adjusting his hat, the young man looks up to Noab leaning out of that window. "What? Supplies? We're on our way back to Kakariko! But how... how is the Wolfos still even in existence?!" The figure looks to peer around at the base of the floating inn, looking for any clues.
"We're part of a larger group that is mapping out the ocean and islands. If anyone is stranded here that wants to return to Kakariko, they're free to hop aboard."
The man blinks. "Wait, did you say thirty rupees?! How do you even have supplies and get stock? Have you already organized a scheduled delivery?"
Vaati Picoru 7:27 PM “That would be my doing,” Vaati replied to the ship’s apparent captain. “I am Vaati Picoru, sorcerer of winds, and the former hebra mountains are being used as farming colonies by my servants. I’ve already made business arrangements with this establishment, but am not against providing goods elsewhere.”
Irina:snowflake: 11:29 AM Irina has been bringing food and drinks out of the kitchen, taking guests to empty rooms, and making any available space into temporary rooms for people to sleep. It's one of the busiest times for the Wolfos, although it seems like most people are taken care of for now.
The barmaid sees Esava sitting in the corner. It takes her a moment but she finally decides to approach him, getting an idea of what he is going through.
"Is there anything we can do to help you?" She finally says. This doesn't really look like the acrobat who almost killed her a while ago.
SpoofAPP 3:37 AM "Huuuuuuuuh?" The Captain aboard the ship looks to the dimunitive figure in Vaati. "You? A sorcerer of winds?" Vaati is eyed by the captain of the ship, who then looks back to his crew. They all stare at each other, before throwing their heads back into laughter!
"BWWAAAAAAAA-HA-HA! AAAAA-HAHAHAHA!" For a good few moments they enjoy their laugh, cackling with glee. Clearly Vaati didn't appear like such a figure to the uninitiated. These guys were just mappers, after all. Hell, a few weeks ago they were probably just farmers. "Hell, I'm a sorcerer of wind too. Look!" Lifting his leg, the pirate man... farts.
The action draws a new round of raucous laughter from the crew, who eventually begin to settle down. "Well, Vaati," The Captain starts, wiping a tear from his eye. "We're fine, thanks. Kakariko has enough food to last years. But if no-one here wants to go back to the island, then we'll weigh anchor and be off!"
EsavaAPP 3:39 AM Esava shakes his head grimly at Irina, lifting a hand to ward off any aid. "It's alright. I think I might starting to finally get used to it." His brows furrow. "How long do you think we are going to stay here, though? The longer we stay here, the stronger our enemies become."
Vaati Picoru 9:23 AM Vaati had endured far worse insults from the Picori tribes of his youth, the fact these people were likely uneducated just makes it easier for him to keep calm. “I cannot speak for everyone here, but I am staying, it is also good news to hear Kakariko is doing well.” Vaati smiles a little and tips his cap to the sailors as in the far distance he conjures a bolt of lightning on a cloudless, sunny day to perhaps lightly spook them. “Have a good day.” Vaati then turns and walks off to find Irina.
aubrey:musical_note: 6:22 PM "REE-EER!"
A large winged shadow passes over the the mappers' ship, and a faint thump from something landing on the roof of the inn can be heard. "BARD ON DECK!!!" shouts the lookout. "Bard!? Don't you mean bird!?" Noab barks upward. "THAT TOO!!!"
A moment later Aubrey comes down the stairs. "Hahaha, this is awesome!" he laughs exultantly. "I thought the Fortress turning into an island was amazing, but this takes the cake! It's so great to know you're all alive!" ^.^
Link:fireball: 11:33 PM Link takes a drink and plate from Irina. He has been helping with some of the tasks but takes a break to watch the spectacle on the high seas. Who was this anyway and where did he come from? He ponders these and other deep questions as he savors the grilled octorok and the surprisingly smooth Kokiri mead. His eyes light up when he sees the Bard drop in like a bird from the sky. Finally some good entertainment!
LeithAPP 3:43 PM Leith stares at the man and his bird. "Well this is too strange. I'm going to nap. No one wake me!" Leith slinks off to find a comfy place.
Shura:crab: 1:38 AM shura being qwiet simply minding his own busness sharpening and maintaining his and other weapons aboard this makeshift vessel yawning as he finishes polishing both blades he had catnip on him as he spread some out for the cat
Vaati Picoru 11:35 AM Vaati takes a moment to admire the big bird that has just dropped out of the sky. I doesn’t look like a helmaroc, and too small to be the king, perhaps the loftwings of legend had returned? If so, no doubt his wizrobes would give their hoods to examine one. After the pause of admiration for the majestic creature, he approaches Irina and says, “Excuse me, could I have a quick word with you? I could use some advice.”
Irina:snowflake: 5:41 PM Irina doesn’t know what to answer to Esava. “It’s hard to tell. To be honest, I don’t even know who or what we are supposed to fight... or if it is even possible to get Hyrule back to what it was.” She seems troubled about the course of action.
The barmaid then looks at Vaati. “Absolutely, although you always seem to have more information than I do. I am not sure if I am the right person to ask,” she responds with a small smile, but follows him to the side.
LeithAPP 2:03 PM Leith swipes the catnip up and slinks away with it
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 11:37 AM Watching Leith frolic with the catnip, he takes a spare piece of string from his pack and dangles it off the edge of the table he is sitting at, occasionally bouncing it at random intervals.
Suddenly realising he is in a room full of people of rather magical lineage and he is enticing one of the two most powerful ones with a simple string he snorts in amusement at the thought of the situation, sending the candle in front of him sputtering.
SheikAPP 4:46 AM That's not a normal sound. Hmm. However, the visitor that came through the door to the Wolfos fit that description well enough. Sheik was lost in his thoughts thinking about the mount that he saw through the doorway. He drew closer, almost missing the rider that came along with it. "This is..." He was lost for words. Was it really that bird? Those were only symbols. He had never thought they were truly real. "Where are these birds--" He paused and held his tongue, closing his eyes in a bid to save himself from further embarrassment.
"It is good to see you are well. I had thought we were to grow accustomed to sailing, but you have shown us an alternative to this travel exists. So far, we have been prepping ourselves to send the Wolfos around the seas in the hopes that we can use it as a beacon for Hyrule, but it appears that people have already begun to adjust themselves. Perhaps I lacked faith in the people and their hardiness," he had pointed out the mappers that were present here to Aubrey.
"Before you leave," he noted to the mappers. "Could you provide us with your most recent charts? They would serve us well so that we may know the current shape and face of Hyrule."
aubrey:musical_note: 10:40 PM The blue avian dips its beak toward Sheik. "They're called loftwings," Aubrey supplies. "My wife Fallon managed to dig up some records that mentioned them." Ah, the benefits of being married to a researcher. "We've had several of them show up at Gerudo Fortress and bond with people there, and I saw more flying toward other places. I'm still learning to ride it, but I had to come out here and find out what happened to the Crimson Wolfos as soon as I could. Everyone's going to be so relieved when I bring back the news." n.n
SheikAPP 11:00 PM "Loftwings," Sheik repeated thoughtfully, lifting his hand toward the bird's offered beak. "They have been a symbol of the Royal Family for generations, though their nature and meaning managed to be lost in time. Even I can't say what they truly stand for anymore while looking it in the face." He scanned it over carefully. He may need to acquire one for himself. "If they're flying elsewhere, it may be in our best interests to go where they are or at least witness them in flight to know what areas attract them the most. It could benefit us if we have them to travel with, but for now, I do believe getting the sails up and going on the Wolfos is our priority. A moving inn can assist with providing comfort and knowing the current state of Hyrule among those traveling the seas."
Vaati Picoru 4:41 PM Vaati begins to speak to the barmaid rather timidly, “Unfortunately for me, this isn’t a matter of knowledge I seek advice for, rather a matter of emotion. I have told you before back in Ikana about my feelings for Zelda, however, I find myself unable to bring up the subject in face-to-face conversation with her. As you were already aware of the fact, you were the only individual I could ask. Is there any advice you believe would help? I don’t want to offend or shock her, as the memories of her past lives don’t carry over, but I do still care for her though she is not the same Zelda I fell for.”
Melkibren:bow_and_arrow: 8:32 AM Mel's head snaps up sharply at the sounds of a familiar name, he sits completely still as he focuses his hearing to tone out the other inhabitants of the inn and find the source of the voice. Seeing Vaati squirm as he talked to Irina in a quiet voice made one of Mel's eyebrows raise in quizzical humor. Further listening, he heard Vaati speak of Zelda as if she were alive, he himself believing her to have perished in the fall of Hyrule, thus giving up his oaths as a Royal Guard Captain. He made mental note to talk to the wind sorcerer later
Irina:snowflake: 11:18 PM That was probably the last question Irina was asking, although her face only shows some confusion. "I am not an expert in the subject, I am afraid. Are you sure you are ready to tell her? As you said, she's not the same person you fell for. If you got to know her a little better, maybe it would confirm your feelings... and you two would be close enough so that telling her would be easy." She shrugs a bit, "In any case, we would have to find her first... so you can take your time and think about it in the meantime."
NoabAPP 10:43 PM "ALL RIGHT, LOOK ALIVE!" Noab barks. "I want this inn mobile by nightfall! Hrmph, there's something I never thought I'd say. Stitch those cloths together strong and tight, the whole point is for them to hold together in the wind!" Work on literally rigging the Crimson Wolfos Inn up as a sailing vessel commences.
Irina:snowflake: 5:22 PM After her conversation with Vaati, Irina has been tending to some new visitors - the loftwings! She brushed them and fed them, and now they look energized and playful. One of them, a young bird with yellow and white feathers, seems like it’s inviting her to climb up and go for a ride.
“Are you sure it’s safe?” Irina says with a giggle, petting the bird. “Actually, there’s somewhere I should probably go, if you don’t mind,“ she adds thoughtfully. “Okay...” the barmaid finally dares to climb up on it and the bird immediately takes off! Irina holds onto it however she can before it quickly flies away from the floating tavern.
Shura:crab: 9:23 PM shura had an idea to make the inn more buoyant since the boss like noab was already ordering them to work he had to think of ant wood they could use to make the inn as bug as it was as a ship . with the time he had been silent he had rigged up something but he would need at least 8 solid trees to start he could very well make this an actual boat his designed boats skimatics all marked up walking over to the inns owner and handing him the details he wanted to be a ship Wright and blacksmith but his past prevented it from anything other then watching and reading about both subjects " this may take until tomorrow if one of the zora can't get me down to the ocean floor i may be able to fell some trees to make us more seaworthy ?" shura scratched his mostly silver and slowly fading into blood red hair but not at the moment. he had hoped his contribution was worth the wait " the only other thing i need is a hand with turning it into the proper size cuts and maybe some working muscle anyone in for it ? " shura seemed more productive today...
EsavaAPP 5:19 AM "Uh," Esava croaks, watching as Irina literally flies away. "Is she going to be okay?" With an audible clear of his throat, the man from the desert starts to get to his feet and make himself useful. If he can make this thing mobile, then that means they can get to some dry land! And so off he goes, helping with the rigging. Slowly and weakly, but still going regardless.
Link:fireball: 12:39 AM Link’s eyes widen at the sight of the magnificent birds that appear before him. He walks up to one before they depart to closer look. He gazes in awe as the barmaid is lifted away into the vast expanse of the sky on one. “I have only really heard stories about these creatures.”
SheikAPP 1:11 PM Sheik watched as work commenced on the sails that would soon guide this in turned ship. His attention set upon Shura and his ideas, so he walked closer to see what they might be. "These designs are impressive. I wouldn't have taken you for someone capable of this kind of work." He glanced between the schematics and their designer. "Noab. Do you believe with these, the Wolfos may be more seaworthy?"
Because, if not, he'd certainly have some plans for these. A small, personal vessel might be worth looking into, if only so that he can move about Hyrule freely. Those birds, the loftwings, he's not certain about mounting one yet or perhaps he feels he's unworthy of taking one up.
"The barmaid will be fine," he added to Esava's concerns. "Loftwings, if the legends are true, bond with and take care of their riders." He then considered Link. "Perhaps you should keep an eye out for one as well."
NoabAPP 9:22 PM Noab eyes Shura's plans with a scowl. "Blasted if I know enough about boats to be any judge. Probably couldn't make it much worse, though. What do you want in payment for this?"
Shura:crab: 9:48 PM shura shook his head looking to noab " to simply get us safe is payment for me i can do the work but everything should be listed on the back of the paper if i get the meterials i can work it out in a day or twos time" shura crossed his arms then slowly razed his hand to his chin thinking" or worst case if need be if someone or something can get me down to where the trees under the sea i can try cutting them and letting them float up should work i hope" he shrugged and rested his arm on his blades handles
Vaati Picoru 3:53 PM On the horizon, what pretty much looks like a giant barrel bearing the eye insignia of the wind sorcerer approaches. “I believe the first shipment appears to be heading this way. Talk about timing, the vessel needs supplies and they just happen to show up.”
Link:fireball: 6:34 PM Link takes note to Sheik's advice. He looks to the mountains in the horizon and says, "Speaking of supplies, I don't think I am contributing much here. I am going to head out for higher ground and seek help."
aubrey:musical_note: 9:09 PM Aubrey gives a wave to people in general. "Well, I'd better be getting back to the Fortress before people start worrying about me. I'll try to return when I can and help out with...well, whatever needs doing." n.n; "No guarantees we'll be in the same spot later," Noab warns as Aubrey climbs back onto his loftwing. "Check near Death Mountain or Lon-Lon Ranch if you have trouble locating us, those seem the most likely destinations for us." Aubrey nods, and the great bird takes off into the sky.
Link:fireball: 5:43 PM Link jumps into the water without further ado and reemerges some distance away, perched on a sudden raft made up of debris. The currents of the shifting waters pull him away from the raft and towards land some immeasurable distance away.
TommyAPP 6:55 PM Tommy glances toward Esava. "Oi, mate, should we be goin' wi' him? Thought the whole point of draggin' us to this fun-filled dream world wos taggin' along on his jaunts an' scrapin' up the loot."
EsavaAPP 5:56 PM "So long as it gets off this rocking inn, I'm happy to go anywhere. Where is he going?" Esava squints into the distance, eyeing Link as he sails away on some sort of makeshift raft. "Can you swim?" The question posed to the deku scrub is done with a long side eye. Can scrubs swim?
TommyAPP 10:57 PM Tommy snorts. "'Ow should I know? Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't know where he's goin' himself. After hangin' out around heroic types, seems t'me they don't PLAN THINGS OUT or THINK ABOUT GETTIN' AHEAD. Oh no, they just jump shrub-first into danger an' drag their mates along through brush an' briar." :stuck_out_tongue: Tommy peers out across the waters. "And no, I can't swim, although it probably wouldn't take much to make me float." Because Deku Link can't seem to swim and that's all the canon info we have to go on for the entire race.
EsavaAPP 5:20 AM "You want to follow Link." Esava confirms with that long side eye, a grimace slowly forming across his face. "And you can't swim. How do you plan on getting across the ocean? He's in a raft. Unless you plan on floating in a direction somehow, we're stuck." Which isn't pleasant for him, given his various on-sea conditions! "Okay. Let's form some sort of plan then. What did you want to do? Should we try and follow him? Try and find Ganondorf? Or maybe head home to find some more clues to try and undo this flood?" The tan-skinned figure rubs his chin in some thought. "Maybe we should head back to the Gerudo fortress and regather ourselves a bit."
TommyAPP 1:38 PM Tommy shrugs. "Well, wot I mean is I probably could swim if I 'ad somethin' to 'elp me keep me 'ead above th'drink. It's just a mattah of kickin' y'legs, right? Although I don't like t'think wot bein' in th'briny fer too long would do to me bark. Could take weeks t'get th'crusties out." Tommy folds his arms. "I'm good with any of those ideas except tryin' t'find ol' hell's-spells, 'specially by ourselves. Woulda thought runnin' into him before should put you off that notion."
SpoofAPP 8:05 PM The bright, cloudless skies above the Crimson Wolfos are usually dotted with the occasional bird. A gull of sorts, perhaps. Or even a greater bird of prey hoping to dive for a fish. Yet at this very moment, despite the perfect weather and clear sunshine? There is nothing... no wildlife at all. In fact, should anyone stop speaking, folks may just begin to realise that everything is very quiet right now. Spookily so. Aside from the waves washing against the flotation devices of the Wolfos, mind you. Then it happens.
A streak of golden light can be seen zooming through the skies at an unparalleled speed. Coming from directions unknown, the meteor looking shape flies completely horizontally, before suddenly dipping once it gets over the top of the inn. It then proceeds to zoom down, before crashing through the roof. The roof tiling is split asunder; shards of wood go flying. The noise that comes with it: a thunderous KRA-KOOM reverberates long and hard, sending a shockwave of energy out. Even Link, who at this stage has really begun to put some distance between himself and the Wolfos, will rock too and fro. Everyone at the epicentre will doubtless lose their feet, knocked down from the assault.
But just what did it strike? Why, a certain figure. Dressed heavily in robes to conceal much of their identity, Sheik's body courses with sudden magical power. Bolts of it arc off his form and limbs, gathering for one particular place. It feels itchy at first: nostalgic. Should he look, a glowing, golden triangle will glower on the back of his left hand.

1
ZeldaAPP 9:15 PM Were they under attack!? Who would so brazenly attack this place? As well guarded as it is!? The bright flash that struck the area was overwhelming and Sheik had thought for certain that this place was going to sink. The heat that filled the area or...no, it wasn't the area, it was him. It was a familiar warmth, one that took the emptiness present within and refreshed the mind and body. He found himself lifted in the air and set back down gently, the mark of the Triforce having returned home to him. He stared at his hand in awe and disbelief briefly, but the hesitation soon subsided as he signed with his hands. Another flash fills the area and standing in his place is the Princess of Hyrule herself.
To be honest, Zelda felt a bit out of place, but she imagines that feeling would subside. It seems the goddesses saw fit to bring her back out of hiding. Perhaps a change was on the horizon, but she couldn't tell if it was one for the best or not. She imagines there would be a great deal to answer for as a number of shocked faces are now looking her way. She looks up towards the roof and smirks to herself. "I will see to it that the roof is repaired immediately."
NoabAPP 7:11 PM It's just one thing after another, isn't it? #.U Of course, most of it has been benevolent bizarre happenstance, but it's hard to see it that way when you're being buffeted about by it. Noab struggles off his rocky back like an upended tortoise AGAIN. "STATUS!" One of the first staffers to recover their wits looks around. "Uh, minimal damage, cause unknown...oh wow!" O.O
Noab blinks owlishly in the aftermath of the flash. He's never met the Princess of Hyrule before, but he's familiar with the regalia. Hurriedly getting back to his feet, he stands at attention and throws a salute. "ROYAL ON DECK!" Noab barks. It occurs to him belatedly she may not have wanted attention drawn to her transformation, although it'd be pretty hard to keep it from spreading at this point. e.U;
Vaati Picoru 8:35 PM The Wind Sorcerer tips the brow of his hat to the princess in respect. Then decides to go for a short walk out on the waves. When she wants to see him, she’ll come find him.
EsavaAPP 12:54 AM Because he didn't need anything else to go make him sway on this infernal inn! The huge shockwave that thunders down into the Wolfos sends Esava stumbling back and falling onto his rear. "--hurk!"
And then... the Princess. Esava just stares at her, an incredulous expression on his dial. He didn't know much about Zelda, save for her name. But it's clearly her, right? Noab even said so. "Uh. Princess." His head tips in respect. A nudge goes to Tommy to do the same. "W...where did you come from? And did we just get hit by lightning?"
ZeldaAPP 9:08 PM Yes, this was just as awkward for Zelda as it was for everyone else. Still, she maintained composure and smiled in response to the spill of responses. "You need not regard me much longer like this, but thank you," she offered to Noab. "Please, as you were."
She lifts her hand in greeting to Vaati before his departure and uses the same hand to help Esava up from the ground.
"I came from...a difficult place, I suppose it could be said. It was lightning that struck, but the Triforce. It's been returned back to me. With it in my possession, I must assume my duties and protect the realm."
EsavaAPP 5:56 PM Zelda's explanation earns a curious expression from Esava, mostly because a great deal of it made little sense to him. "The Triforce? Returned to you? That is what Ganondorf, has right? It is the source of his powers." Being a native from Termina means that he's a little out of the loop when it comes to lore like this. Snapping his fingers, Esava turns back to look out at the ocean. His face falls when he notes that Link is no longer present. He's already sailed away!
"...damn. Looks like Link is gone. Er, Princess," He offers. "I'm Esava. This is Tommy Twiggins." He gestures to the deku scrub. "We're from Termina, but we're here to help you fight Ganondorf. Link was trying to find a portal back to Termina, but... he's gone. Do you know of a way to reverse this flood?"
aubrey:musical_note: 12:42 AM Tommy straightens his acorn hat. "Too-ra-loo an' what a t'do. Er, pleased as pollen t'make your acquaintance, Duchess." n.n; Tommy elbows Esava's thigh. "Forget hangin' out wi' the hero, mate," he mutters excitedly, "we get to hob-nob wi' royalty! That's th'first step in goin' from rags t'riches in most of th'stories!" 83
EsavaAPP 7:10 AM Oof. A glance down to Tommy is made when he pointedly elbows Esava's thigh. The rags-to-riches note earns a pained sigh, the tanned figure lifting a hand to his face in a soft facepalming motion. "Forgive him, Princess. He has a bit of a one-tracked mind. I suppose I did promise you some sort of reward though." The man takes a steady breath, before looking back to Zelda. "We will help you in any way we can. Just point us in the right direction." Rubbing the back of his neck, Esava shifts a bit uncomfortably on his feet. He's never been good at dealing with royals!
ZeldaAPP 12:41 PM "He, too, has a piece of the Triforce. You are correct." Zelda looks up from Esava towards the ocean when he points in its direction. "Link is out there?" She inquired, but she put that aside to focus on the man and his scrub companion. "Esava and Tommy Twiggins," she smiled and tipped her head in greeting. "We have had a number of visitors from Termina, both those with good will and those with ill. It is always pleasant to know those with the former." She steps up to a nearby window to look out at the waters. "This flood is something created by the goddesses. I imagine in like manner, they must be the ones to end it. However, I would need to make an appeal of some form to see it cleared..." She turned back to face the greater group present. "Our priority should be to reverse the flood. I believe I may have a method that will work, but I will need to meet with the leader of each people of Hyrule to bring back to the source of the flood. We must be united when the flood waters recede if we are to face off against the greater threat that is Ganondorf."
EsavaAPP 10:32 PM "He was out there." Esava clarifies. One moment he was out there sailing. The next? He was gone over the horizon! Or maybe he just sailed around to the other side of the Wolfos. Taking a step back as the Princess approaches the windows, Esava lets Zelda examine the situation and air her own thoughts about it. "You cannot... I don't know, overrule their strength with your own?" Once she turns around with an idea, the desert figure straightens. "You'll need to meet with the leader of each people? You mean the Zora, Gorons and the like?"
Then she drops the BAWMB. "I'm sorry. I thought you said a threat greater than Ganondorf. I must have misheard you." Right? Right. "Certainly if the flood waters go back, then that will make it easier to defeat him. I'm a bit surprised he hasn't already acted given our inability to really strike back effectively."
NoabAPP 6:43 PM "She said the greater threat that is Ganondorf," Noab coughs, "so yes, afraid you misheard." Noab drops the salute, but remains standing at attention. Zelda's not his ruler exactly, but it always pays to show respect to authority figures. Especially since the Crimson Wolfos Inn sits on Hylian soil. Well, usually. e.U;
ZeldaAPP 10:44 PM Zelda looked over her shoulder to Esava, "The Triforce was created by the goddesses. Overruling them is out of the question and impossible," she explained. "But yes, I will need to meet the leaders. Many of them are Sages. I do not know if the work and title can be passed along. I say this because one of the Sages, if I recall, has departed Hyrule. However, she did have relatives. Siblings," she turned to face the room once again. "One of which should be queen of the Zora. Perhaps she has inherited what Ruto once had. Given that we are on the waters, perhaps it is best we meet with the Zora first. Is the Inn fit for sailing?" Her question posed to Noab as her eyes leave Esava to focus on him.
EsavaAPP 5:41 AM Darting his gaze to Noab as he dutifully informs that he did mishear, Esava bites his lip before looking back to the Princess.
"One of the Sages departed Hyrule?" The natural follow up question of 'how' and 'why' are clearly mulled over in his head, but he opts not to ask them for the moment. Regardless, as she looks to him, the man from the desert can only shrug helplessly. "Er, I don't know. For the moment I believe we are just floating in style. There was a trade boat that came around just before, but it's long gone now and probably back in Kakariko." As the inn floats and rocks, Esava stumbles a little and falls to a knee, his face turning green.
"Princess," He gurgles, soon standing back up. "I realise I'm in no real position to ask for favours right now, but I feel inclined to ask if it's at least a possibility. Do you possess the power to transport me and my friend here somewhere else?" The friend, of course, being Tommy. "I am positively useless on this floating inn. If you are able to somehow teleport us to where the Gerudo reside, I would very much appreciate it. We can even forewarn the leader there of your intentions to visit. Nabooru, I think her name was? While you're out visiting the Zora."
NoabAPP 12:48 PM "STATUS UPDATE!" Noab barks. A staffer pokes his head out from the stairway. "Sails ready! We haven't got much in the way of steering, but we can at least go where the winds take us!" The eternal limitation of the sailor, being at the mercy of the winds. Sure would be convenient to be able to tell the breezes which way to blow. Like, some sort of magical artifact that lets you direct them like a conductor. Wouldn't that be just peachy?
Well, for right now, there's always narrative convenience. :innocent: "There you have it, your majesty. If the prevailing winds suit your ends, we'll unfurl sails and get going." The direction of the wind being...toward someplace where one of the Six Sages might be found, hopefully? ;) Heck, there's six of them, odds are pretty good they'd be getting closer to at least one no matter what direction they set out in...
ZeldaAPP 1:52 PM Zelda nodded affirmatively. One of the Sages did depart, however Hyrule has maintained in her absence. Still, there are her siblings and the rest of the Domain to look into and it seems...that they are drifting east. Hmm. At least it is towards the greater Domain area, but not exactly the heart of where they wish to go. She steps back from the window, finally finished with her observations and turns to see Esava on his knee. Her brows knitted in confusion until she realized that he had no tolerance for all this waving. Honestly, had she not spent time moonlighting as a ninja and being locked in floating crystals, she'd probably feel much the same.
"I do believe we may have one individual that may be of some use to us. In fact, the minions should be roaming around outside. And there's the matter of the house that has attached itself here..." She smirked with a hint of mischief. She rubbed at her gloved hand briefly, around the area where her Triforce mark would be. "I think I have enough ability to send the both of you, but only the both of you for now. I am not wholly practiced in magic." Not anymore than she wished to reveal, anyway. "Inform me of when you wish to go and I will gather my strength to send you away."
TommyAPP 2:03 PM Tommy raps his knuckles urgently on Esava's leg. "Careful mate, think it through before answerin'!" he hisses. "We could wish t'be back in Termina, or in a treasure vault, or on top of th'biggest blinkin' pile of riches in th'world! Just wotevah y'say, make it specific, or we might end up buried in gold or some such lark!" CoC Yes, Tommy is relating this to stories about wish-granting genies now.
EsavaAPP 7:11 PM "Why do you want to go back to Termina?" Esava asks, a curious look across his face as he turns down to the deku scrub. "Besides, I imagine that as powerful as the Princess is, she cannot send us across different dimensions." The man pauses, looking back up to Zelda. "Right?" Without even waiting for an answer, a wry smile cracks that curious expression that lingered. "We'll get to the riches of the world, too. Did you not want to go to Nabooru? I thought you liked it there in the desert. Assuming they are also not under water. Did you have a different preference?"
TommyAPP 12:14 AM Tommy shrugs. "'Cos I know th'dodge routes back theah, an' Hell's-Spells ain't theah anymore. Ain't sayin' we should go back, 'specially if we'd 'ave t'mulch ourselves gettin' heah again. Wos just an example." Tommy folds his hands behind his head. "Outta th'places we been in Hyrule, larkin' wi' the Gerudo wos th'most fun, aye. Wouldn't say I liked it in the desert, though. A chap could bust into flame out in those blazin' sands." :stuck_out_tongue:
EsavaAPP 6:45 AM "We don't know who's back in Termina though." Esava points out, rubbing the side of his neck. "Maybe the whole place flooded like Hyrule? Or maybe it sunk into the earth? Going back could be spell the end of us." Taking a breath and steadying himself as the inn rocks a little more, the tanned figure nods. "It was definitely the place where we fit in the best. We'll just make sure to stay away from the sands this time. And definitely not go near the portal that chews people up."
Gatu 1:13 AM Gatu is dropped of by Revali of the Rito to the Crimson Wolfos before leaving to go do other things, leaving him to be tended to by Zelda and the others. He is still unconscious and breathing weakly for some sort of... strain?
NoabAPP 9:25 PM
"MEDIC!" Noab barks sharply. Having dealt with the immediate need by summoning one of the more medically-knowledgable staffers to look Gatu over, Noab lapses into grumbling. "What do people think this place is, a field hospital? Dropping senseless people on our doorstep without so much as a word of explanation, much less compensation! We're getting too much of a reputation as selfless do-gooders!" >P Because obviously that's what Revali would've done even if his player was here to pose it in detail.
ZeldaAPP 1:29 AM was amused by this exchange between these two. Granted, she's been watching them the entire time before the Triforce was called back home to her, but seeing them as herself is refreshing. "Sending across dimensions is improbable." Not impossible. "Wherever you wish to go within Hyrule, I will do my best to place you where you desire to be. I do have my limits." She knows the Triforce can do a lot, but it's only as good as she is humanly possible of doing.
She turns her head to the crumpled form of a man that was dropped off by Revali. She peered through the windows to see which one it was, but wasn't able to establish visual properly. "It is understood that the Inn requires funds to run. I know not if he has anything to pay, so I will do so on his behalf for a night," she offered to Noab. "This should provide him sufficient time to recover. When he does, I imagine he will be able to do pay his own way."
Gatu 2:59 AM Zelda would most likely notice while Noab was working on the unconscious young man with some medics the strange but familiar sword on his back in its scabbard, as well as the mark of the Triforce on his left hand. As the medics work, they're able to stabilize him, but he was still in bad shape as his breathing sound labored. By their estimation, they explain to Noab and Princess Zelda the boy should be conscious within the next half an hour. They were able to lower his temperature since he was running one, as well as apply some cold cloths to the areas of his body where there was the most strain.
ZeldaAPP 8:47 PM Zelda did notice. Strangely enough. It's not normal for more than one person to bear this mark. Not to her knowledge, at least. The sword, also? He...didn't find the one she was looking for. Hm, but its craftsmanship couldn't be denied. Wherever he got it from it was finely detailed. "This is unusual," she muttered to herself. She supposes she could figure out more later. For now, she'll leave him to rest. "I need to figure out where the Wind Sorcerer has gone. He was here, but has left. He should be capable of providing the wind necessary for the sails."

Vaati Picoru 12:06 AM “You called, princess?” Vaati states seemingly appearing from nowhere. “Pardon me, I took a bit of a walk on my lonesome to clear my thoughts. More than happy to assist.” The wind sorcerer also notices the unconscious individual and his mark and sword. “That is certainly, peculiar.”

ZeldaAPP 3:09 AM Zelda looked from Gatu to Vaati. "Yes, I did call. Your assistance is needed. We have sails, but are without wind. We need this Inn directed towards the Zora's Domain. We are currently drifting east, but by my unskilled calculations, we will move past it in due time unless the winds become favorable to our voyage. Could you help us in this endeavor?" She asked of him. The draft moving through the ceiling doesn't escape her notice. "That will also require some handiwork, but I will leave that to any carpenters or craftsmen and women here."
Vaati Picoru 11:53 PM “Well you called the right mage for the job. Watch the Wind Sorcerer work.” Vaati momentarily places a hand in the water, checking for currents, then taking them into consideration summons a strong wind to blow in the exact direction of the Domain. “Well what do you know? Even after the flooding, Zora’s Domain still seems to be the source of Hyrule’s flowing water. Meaning we’ll be fighting against the currents below to get there.”

Gatu 4:00 PM The young man that Revali brought in starts to stir and wake up from their unconsciousness...

Gatu 7:54 PM The young man sits up with a grunt and raises the hand marked with the Triforce onto his head. Gatu honestly felt like he was run over several times by a truck and then stretched into noodles for spaghetti... Everything felt stiff and sore, but otherwise he was okay to an extent.
Vaati Picoru 11:11 PM “Well, the interesting newcomer is awake. Perhaps we should assist him Zelda?” Vaati then approaches the stranger and offers a hand to help him stand. “In any case, you got a name?”
Gatu 12:02 AM "...?" Gatu rubs his eyes, his vision blurry. Soon his eyes focus and he blinks, showing his rich and unique blue eyes to Vaati and Zelda. He looks very confused at Vaati, having never seen someone like them before... Seeing them offering him a hand up, Gatu reaches his hand to their offering but stops hesitantly for a few seconds in his confusion before grasping it, accepting the hand up.
Upon being pulled up onto his feet; he looks confused still of his surroundings and uneasy of the people around and in front of him... Upon being asked his name by Vaati, he doesn't know if he should answer or not due to his confusion of where he is exactly... Stranger Danger, as his PE Teacher in the 5th grade called it.
Vaati Picoru 10:16 AM At The stranger’s silence Vaati merely attempts to ease the perceived tension. “Pardon me, you must likely be more confused than any of us. I am Vaati Picoru, sorcerer of winds, this is Princess Zelda Hyrule, and you on board the Crimson Wolfos Tavern. After the recent flooding it has been made into a sea fearing vessel.”
Gatu 12:22 PM Gatu blinks and goes wide eye... Did... Did they just say Hyrule...? Gatu's a bit overwhelmed now that he knows where he is. He glances at the Princess of Hyrule just barely, not knowing how to react in front of royalty for the first time. Gatu steels his nerves and decides to speak, even though he mostly stays mute some or most of the time.
"My name is Gatu." Gatu introduced himself to Vaati and Princess Zelda. He had so many questions as he remembers some things... He pushes it aside for now as he tries to take in the fact of where he is...
NoabAPP 11:15 PM Noab grunts. "Well, Mr. Gatu, hope visiting Zora's Domain suits your purposes, because that's where this place is headed. Lucky for you, Her Majesty has offered to put up your room and board for tonight. We'll assign you a room and you can get a hot meal down here in the tavern. I suggest you think about ways to thank her."
Gatu 1:31 AM Gatu looks at Noab, hearing about how they're going to a place called Zora's Domain. He's speechless of Princess Zelda's kindness to get him a room here. He nods to Noab, understanding. How exactly could he thank someone of royalty though...? He'll try and come up with a solution later... For now, he should try to sink this all in; as he felt overwhelmed and confused.
ZeldaAPP 11:08 AM "It appears you require more time to rest. Please, allow one of the attendants to guide you to your room. You need not worry about how to thank me," Zelda chuckled. Although the sentiment is appreciated. She looked back at Gatu having glanced at Noab briefly. "But all that has been spoken of is correct. We are headed to Zora's Domain. There, you may be able to disembark if you so choose."
Gatu 11:48 AM Gatu looks at Princess Zelda quietly as he listens to her speck before he can say his part, not wanting to look or sound rude by cutting her off mid-sentence.
"Um, Princess Zelda?" Gatu asked. "Could I actually speck to you in private? I know I just came here to the Crimson Wolfos and just met you, Vaati, and Noab, but I think its urgent that we speck..." Gatu said, concern in his voice.
ZeldaAPP 7:57 PM Zelda quirked a brow at the request, but otherwise nodded in response. "We will do so in your new room" She asks one of the attendants to guide them to where it is. In the meantime, she gestures for Gatu to follow after her. "Urgency is fairly common these days. I take it there's something about your previous condition?" She considered.
Gatu 8:53 PM "Okay. It's most likely best to talk about it there..." Gatu replied to her as one of the attendants begins guiding her and him to his room.
"It does most likely I believe..." Gatu answered to Zelda as he follows after her.
ZeldaAPP 9:43 PM Zelda continued along the hall until the attendant stopped at a door and opened it, showing off the room. A quaint place with no windows, but at the very least had a lantern for lighting. The bed sat in the corner opposite the door.
Zelda extended her hand to take the keys and the attendant happily obliged, closing the door behind them before wandering off.
"We have the room to ourselves. What is it you wished to speak about?"
Gatu 10:58 PM "...." Gatu walks past Zelda and gets a glimpse for the first time of Hyrule of its surrounding area, full of floodwaters and wreckage of building that got wiped out. He turns to look at her Majesty.
"Princess Zelda, I don't know if you'll understand what I'm about to say... but I will try my best to explain." Gatu spoke.
"From what I've seen and heard, I'm very far away from home... or not even home at all anymore... Where I come from, Hyrule is only a faint myth... Something strange has happened, and for some reason it has brought me here to Hyrule in the current crisis it's in for a reason. How so and why, I don't have the faintest clue..." Gatu said, concern in his voice.
"I have no idea where, and also more importantly when I am in Hyrule... I'm alone, confused, and worried... Since you're the princess of the kingdom, the best solution I could think of is to ask for your help." Gatu finished speaking. At the mention of time travel, it would most likely remind her of the Ocarina of Time and of Link's quest through time.
ZeldaAPP 12:24 AM Zelda listens intently, shifting from her space to walk around and find a seat. The bed will have to do. Gatu's situation was one she could relate to, although his was unique enough. "I don't know if I have the exact answer that you are looking for," she began, hand tapping in her lap softly while she considered her words. "As I can't claim to know what the will of the goddesses is or why. However, since you are here and you believe you are here for a reason, then the only thing we can do is move forward from this point."
She sighed softly, attempting to determine how she could truly serve the needs of this man. "You are currently in Hyrule. Of what time it separates you from, I do not know. I only know the land as it is now and some of what it once was," she looks towards the door. "If Hyrule is a myth, then I can only hope it is one remembered fondly." Kingdoms do rise and fall, this much she understands, but it doesn't do her well to know Hyrule will also reach that point. "Now that you are here, you have the choice to act in it as it is now. The Hyrule I know and understand. I do not believe it is you who needs help, but rather needs direction. You were sent to a land in need. What skill do you have?" She observed the clothing and was familiar with the mark, but reserved any further questions.
Gatu 1:51 AM Gatu listened intently back to Zelda of her response before he answers. "I'll be honest with you Princess...Where, or more specifically when, Hyrule is nothing but a myth. There are legends, but they are vague... There are artifacts said to be from Hyrule in museums, but they're even vaguer..."
"In school, my history teacher believed greatly in the kingdom of Hyrule of its wondrous inhabitants, species, technology & ingenuity, and of the fabled golden power that is hidden there... Now that I stand in Hyrule and face their own Princess and breath this kingdom's air and step on its ground, it seems all those myths seem to be true."
Gatu goes quiet for a few minutes and looks out the window before clenching his fists tightly and looking back at her Majesty. "I don't know what skills I have that could possibly help, but I want to help you and this land from the peril it's being plagued with. You said I was brought here by the will of these... goddesses you speck of... If so, I want to help you and this kingdom in whatever way I can and insure it survives." Gatu said with determination. For a brief moment, Gatu would possibly remind Zelda of Link... Gatu's determination and courage matched his.
"I admit freely that I need direction. I hope you can help me, your Majesty." Gatu said, before kneeling down to one knee and bowing to her. "I also hope to return such favor in kind as well."
"Maybe I can do some good as a sword fighter or something, since I have this sword here on my back." Luke suggests, using his thumb to point at the sword sheathed in its scabbard on his back.
ZeldaAPP 3:22 AM "You are convinced of the myth having only been here for less than a day," Zelda rubbed her hands together. "That is quite a conviction. It is often been said that reality is greater than fiction," she stood up from the bed to pace a bit. "Even we have myths of a Hyrule of before. Yes, even now birds thought to have only been legends have appeared before us and fly in the skies every so often. Loftwings," she remarked. "Even I find them difficult to believe in. Even seeing them with my own eyes."
She huffs softly, hands clasped before her. "I do see your potential and drive, but I also wish for you to continue cautiously. It is fine to believe in the good of Hyrule. That is what I wish to do also as its Princess and leader, however I am also faced with the grim reality of its destruction," she pointed out to the sea. "I did not believe I would see my land flooded and yet, here it is, covered in fathoms. I firmly and strongly believe in the inhabitants from all corners of the land, but it has also birthed unpleasantness...." Her voice drifts and grows wistful.
"Ganondorf is also of this land, hailing from the desert and though his people no longer follow him, he still has rebels, converts, minions and so on. He is a very real and incredibly dangerous threat. I cannot stress enough how lethal he is and his influence among the populations. If you intend to fight for the cause of Hyrule, you also intend to draw your blade, knowing that it may and sometimes will come at the cost of lives. You are no longer to be a stranger here, but a faceless recruit into an ongoing battle. I suggest you take the night to think of what you wish to do," her words were harsh but concerning.
Her eyes briefly go to the sword he carries. "Perhaps it may be of some use to you, but only if you know how to use it. As I once heard in a guard's training session, 'You do not simply rise to an occasion. You rise only to where your skill allows.'
"Again, take the night to think. We should be at the Domain soon enough."
Gatu 1:15 PM "Yes Ma'am. I will be downstairs in awhile to have dinner with you and the others." Gatu replies to Zelda. "But before you go, there's one other thing I wish to ask..."
"I notice you also keep looking at me... as if I remind you of someone you know or knew personally." he pointed out in honesty, having felt the Princess look at him with a sight of familiarity. "May I ask who I remind you of?"
ZeldaAPP 3:26 PM "You remind me of many people. I've known guards who had your convictions. Citizens who have had your concerns. Youth who had your eagerness," Zelda walks over to the door to open it. "Hyrule has many people like you, but I have also known many who fell for me and for the land who carried these same qualities. I wish it were not the case, but such is the reality of life now." She steps out the door nods her head to Gatu. "I haven't made any plans for supper, but you are free to head to the tavern and have your choice of the menu. For now, I will leave you to your quarters." She closes the door and heads off.
Gatu 5:32 PM Gatu listens to Zelda's words with care before she finishes and closes the door to his room behind her. Gatu walsk over to his bed, but stops. He just notices now that his clothes are different when stops and looks in the mirror.
He's wearing a green tunic with a long sleeve light brown shirt underneath it, his pants turned into shorts of the same brown color, and rosemary red boots...
The biggest change was his hair. For some reason, it wasn't its normal chocolate brown, but a rich pink. It was the shade of like bubble gum or fruit punch...? Maybe Thulian Pink? Just pink in general...
It didn't just happen to his main head of hair... it was also of his eyebrows. Gatu blushes red and doesn't know how to feel with his hair being pink.
Gatu groans in embarrassment and sits down on his bed with a thump. He pushes it aside though after a bit... He was in Hyrule. He was a stranger to these lands still in a way, despite Zelda's words, since he doesn't know many or much of the customs... He just hope the history lessons of Hyrule and its supposed culture he can remember from his history class can help him...
His mind however drifts to another matter: the sword on his back.
Gatu messed with the strap's buckle and undoes it, taking it off. He sets the sheathed sword on his lap and looks it over... He doesn't remember ever having or obtaining this scabbard, so it must've been gifted to him by these goddesses Zelda spoke of. He must admit: it was well made and of good design.
SpoofAPP 8:11 PM The Tavern of the Crimson Woflos was the busiest at night. Even in the midst of the sea, the glimmer coming through the windows told anyone nearby and anyone that could see that it was a lively place. Though at its current speed, there wouldn't be much docking for trade, but that was all soon to change. Land was on the horizon and a watchman spotted it, calling it to everyone's attention and to pass along the news. Zora's Domain was coming into view and while the heart was hidden away in the twisted corridors, at the least, the river was large enough at the mouth to accommodate the Inn up until it reached what could be considered a port.
In truth it was just a piece of land that could take in rafts and boats as there were no manned outposts to welcome people. However, signs did show that the place was kept clear. Although, a choice monster or few could get by every now and again. The Inn would be slowed to make docking easier and let off any passengers who hoped to find the refugee grounds that could take them in or help them along in the next leg of their journey.
Gatu 9:23 PM Gatu snaps out of his train of thought, since he was about to draw the sword out of the scabbard to look at it more before he heard someone call out that land was spotted.
Gatu gets back onto his feet and puts the sheathed sword back on via the belt strap that's looped through some deviots near the mouth of the scabbard.
He walks out to his window and sees the land mass on the horizon. Since it was stuffy in his room, he opens his window to get some fresh air inside as he looks around more at the outside of the Crimson Wolfos.
MajoraAPP 12:59 PM Well, well. It seems a VERY interesting phenomenon has occurred. I wonder how much you know? A voice speaks to Gatu from nowhere.
Gatu 1:17 PM Gatu draws the sword out of its scabbard out of reflex by the voice that spoke up from nowhere. "Who's there? Show yourself!" Gatu said, not fazed by the mysterious voice.
He looks around for the source of the voice, confused. Was it of his imagination...?
MajoraAPP 1:39 PM Oh, fear not, I will not harm you. I just wish to talk. A floating mask that appears to be sentient appears before him.
Gatu 1:49 PM Gatu turns around back towards his bedroom door and bed, guessing it was his imagination. When the voice spoke up again; he spotted and saw a floating mask, appearing to be sentient in some way, was there before him floating between him and the bedroom door. How in the world did it get into the Inn?
It couldn't have through the door, it was closed... It couldn't have come in through the window either, since he was looking outside of it and would've seen it...
Gatu keeps his guard up, a firm grip on his sword. "Who and what are you? How did you get inside?"
MajoraAPP 1:57 PM Hahaha, of course you would be a bit confused. You aren’t from this time are you? I can tell you ARE of this world, but you have displaced in time. I am Majora, one of the gods of this world.
Gatu 2:02 PM "...." Gatu stays resolute and steeled. If Majora didn't come in through the window or through the bedroom door, could they have overheard him and Zelda by hiding somewhere in the room where he didn't see the mask? Or are they really a god as they say and have the power to look at him and tell he's been... 'displaced' in time, they said?
"What do you want Majora?" Gatu asked the floating sentient mask. He's avoiding the topic involving how he got here for good reason, not answering this strange god before him... Stranger Danger, after all...
MajoraAPP 2:10 PM I have already told you, I wish to talk, I can induce your situation, but what I do not know, is why. You see, my sisters and I don’t really talk, so if my dear Hylia has meddled with your temporal placement, I want to know why.
Gatu 2:38 PM Gatu doesn't know much of Majora... Hearing how they have induced his situation and wanting to know why put Gatu a bit on edge. Majora must think he knows the answers in which he doesn't know himself. Gatu takes a few moments to he can come up with a decent answer so he doesn't piss off Majora.
Gatu 3:15 PM "I think it's because of Hyrule's current state." Gatu replied to Majora. "I think they sent me because they think I can help. Other than that, I don't know..."
MajoraAPP 3:50 PM We shall see, In the meantime Gatunos Hobbs, decide carefully what you wish to believe. The lies of those who separate the world into good and evil, or the truth. Ciao!!! the mask vanishes.
Gatu 3:57 PM Gatu goes wide eye... How did the mask know his full name?! He didn't get to ask, as it had vanished. He doesn't know why, but he felt like Majora could've been a friend? Then again, he never had luck making friends... But enough of that. Gatu twirls the sword and sheathes it back into its scabbard. He closes his bedroom window and leaves his bedroom with opening and closing the door behind him and heads downstairs into the main room to get some food to eat.
MajoraAPP 4:04 PM Nearby, the princess feels a presence enter her vicinity. It is likely the oldest and most powerful force she has felt since the light force was returned to her by the wind sorcerer. Zelda, it is high time we spoke to one another, I have been quite rude not introducing myself.
Gatu 1:36 PM Gatu enters the main room where he first woke up. He walked up to the front counter and asked for some soup, in which the person taking orders said it was 5 Rupees... What the hell was a 'Rupee'? Must be the currency of Hyrule... Gatu checks around for pockets for his wallet before he then feels a bag in his right pocket. Taking it out, it seems to be his wallet, but it got turned into a light brown string tied bag with a silver hexagonal symbol on it. He opens it up and sees the $40 he had was now two red hexagonal gems.
Gatu takes one of the red gems out. Is this a Rupee? How much is it worth? Never mind that: he has a hungry stomach that needs food. He sets the rupee on the counter, in which the person taking orders gave him change: 2 Blue and 5 Green Rupees. He takes them and pockets them in his wallet bag before putting it back in his pocket. He sits at the front counter and waits for the tomato soup he ordered. He'll need to ask Zelda how money works here in Hyrule sooner or later...
Gatu 10:52 PM After what feels like 15 minutes pass, his soup arrives. He thanks the waiter for delivering his meal and begins consuming it, bringing warmth to him as he feels the soul travel down his throat and into his stomach. It's a soup that warms the soul, after all.
Gatu looks outside of the window, wondering what he can do for Hyrule and to help it recover from the chaos of this flood... The best thing he can do is to help Zelda in whatever way he can. He gets the feeling he'd be a good fighter, since he twirled and sheathed the sword back into its scabbard earlier after Majora left. Though he won't know until he tries. Feeling like he knows he can help Zelda and this kingdom recover fills him with a newfound determination and drive.
"I wonder what Hyrule looked like before the flood came, and what it'll look like after the water has been drained from it... Only time will tell I guess." Gatu thought.
ZeldaAPP 3:13 PM "I doubt you had any desire to introduce yourself to anything. You appeared to be content observing events unfold from the shadows. Had you wished to so, you would have already," Zelda replied to the voice aloud. "We won't discuss any matters here. We will wait until I have exited the tavern and will resume speaking then." She moves with purpose, leaving the Wolfos to settle herself onto land. Far be it from her to have enjoyed the trip on the waters. It was nothing she could grow used to easily, but would need to.
Her legs felt weak under her, but it was a consequence of all the bobbing and tilting on the waters. She continued walking until she found a nearby boulder to sit on and decompress. "What is it that you want? It is clear you are not Ganondorf as you have sought conversation and not some feigned version of it," she had a mission to complete and was not keen on being interrupted at this time, but addressing whatever this darkness was seemed necessary.
MajoraAPP 6:57 PM Ah, the Wind Sorcerer has informed you of my identity. I am your dark twin brother, Majora. Oh, but you must pardon me, this mortal shell called Zelda must have dulled both your memories and senses dear sister.
ZeldaAPP 7:25 PM "I do not know you, only having heard mentions," Zelda replied back to Majora. "I do not appreciate being treated as a familiar. You will speak to me as the Princess of Hyrule, ruler of this land," she informed tersely. "You have my attention, do not squander it further or I will see this conversation come to an end."
Gatu 7:42 PM Meanwhile inside, Gatu finishes his soup up. He pays the other Red Rupee, worth 20, to get some 5 slices of bread and a medium wedge of cheese. He eats them before he goes back to his room and gets another look over of himself. He still can't stand how he somehow has pink hair when it should be brown...
Adjusting the sheathed sword on his back a bit so it's not too loose or too tight, he exits his room and the Crimson Wolfos and steps on solid land. He looks at Noab and sees the other residents and people staying in the Crimson Wolfos were busy docking the Inn to land, in which he decides to go help. Once he was done helping, he'd go look for Zelda.
MajoraAPP 7:57 PM Interesting that you would have me lower the formalities and address you as princess of Hyrule, not goddess of light. But If I must Zelda, I believe you have enough information about me to know that I seek the reset of this world. I’ve come to explain why, wouldn’t want you thinking I’m pure evil or anything.
ZeldaAPP 11:56 PM "Your presence precedes you, but there is no formality but Princess of Hyrule. I bear no other formal titles," Zelda explained. "And again, you speak to me with a familiarity that we do not share. I have given you the warning. This is the finality. If you wish to continue speaking with me, you refer to me as Zelda."
She listened, her eyes leaving the sight of Major only to ensure that there are no monsters that seek to encroach upon them. "I know that you seek the reset and I do not know why. You are now at liberty to explain, but mind yourself when speaking."
MajoraAPP 1:39 AM A terribly long story short, I was killed by a foolish man turned god. He paid the price by sealing himself away, but that was a temporary fix. The balance of light and dark is upset, I created Demise to hopefully right the wrong I could not on my own, but he failed. Then Hylia gave up her immortality in an attempt to keep the tool that could repair this world out of his hands forever. Now, enough time has passed I am slowly regaining my divine strength. I will soon make the world right again with my own hands.”
ZeldaAPP 7:06 PM Zelda took a deep, thoughtful breath. She is wondering, primarily, why this entity is telling her this. However, she thinks this may prove useful, once she manages to sort through the information.
"You intend to do this with your own hands. And you believe that the goddesses would support this?" She wondered.
She rubbed her hand softly, "They did flood the world. Perhaps it is in need of a cleansing..." She remarked cryptically. "You believe I possess this tool...Is that why you approached me?"
She looked up towards the sky, watching a few birds pass overhead. "What place does Hylia have in this?"
MajoraAPP 7:02 PM I care not if my sisters support my actions, they cannot interfere in this world directly after leaving behind the Triforce. As a god, I cannot use the Triforce, and that is the tool I was referring to. No, the reason I approached you princess, is because you are that mortal reincarnation. Princess Zelda, your other self, whose memories seem to be hidden from you, is My sister Hylia, goddess of light, order, and time. So, Hylia’s place in this, is yours.
ZeldaAPP 6:16 PM Zelda shifts in her seat a bit. "So..." She began with brief pause to sort out her thoughts. "No...hmm. So, what would it take to regain these memories that are hidden away from me? Assuming you have the means to do so?"
She folded her hands across her lap. "It seems terribly inconvenient to not have memories as you have them."
MajoraAPP 11:26 PM There is a way I know, but I will not deceive, it is to return you to your divine state giving up your current life. If my method is not to your liking, I can help you no further. My last words to you, Picoru has something to tell you, he’s just a bit shy about it. The presence dissipates.
Gatu 12:18 PM Princess Zelda hears the faint voice of someone calling her. It was Gatu searching for her.
ZeldaAPP 6:10 PM Zelda was left to herself, her breathing beginning to steady now that she was no longer in the presence of Majora. The atmosphere around him was thick with darkness.
She looked at the back of her gloved hand briefly and then raised her head, hearing her name called.
She stood up to dust herself off. Approaching the voice until it got closer, she raised her voice to speak. "Is there something wrong? Has trouble visited the inn already?"
Gatu 7:03 PM Gatu hears Zelda responding and spots her. Gatu runs up to Zelda and stops before her. "No, nothing is wrong. There was some trouble keeping the Crimson Wolfos on land so it didn't float away, but it's all under control now." Gatu said.
"I was worried because nobody could find you since you wandered off, so I came out to find you." Gatu explains himself. "But I also came to find you to ask if I may be able to be of service to you: like a bodyguard or a personal knight maybe? I think I'm pretty good with this sword here in my possession, since I did some practice with it before folks started getting worried and wondered where you went."
"I want to do anything I can to protect, support, and help you and the people through these difficult times we're all facing. So if you will allow, I wish you give my services to you: Princess Zelda of Hyrule. I ask that you please let me come with you to Zora's Domain so I can aid you if something bad happens." Gatu said, determination and resolution in his voice.
ZeldaAPP 1:44 AM "I am in need of neither of those. If you wish to help me, then help the people. My efforts are not simply for myself," Zelda explained to Gatu. "Anyone that wishes to head to Zora's Domain is free to do so. I have business there, but it is also a concentration point for those who are enduring these floodwaters."
She proceeded to walk past him, but slowed down enough to speak further, "You have only had but one day here and a night of practice. I would suggest you practice more and find help among those that are within the inn. I am certain you have your talents and gifts, but a wise Captain once said to his men, You never rise to an occasion. You only rise to your level of training.'

"Consider those words. Gifts and talents may be naturally given of the people from the goddesses, but they must still be put to purpose by being tested. I appreciate your concern as well as your spirit, but as you have just arrived here, I see you as a visitor that must be protected as one of my own people. Until I see otherwise, I cannot so easily welcome you to battle for my cause."
Gatu 1:54 AM Gatu walks alongside Princess Zelda as they talked together. "I see... Well, I hope there is someone within the Crimson Wolfos that can help like you said. If I'm to be tested, then I'll make sure to get 100% and more to you and the people in and out of training." Gatu said. "But if I may Princess Zelda, could I ask you some questions? I believe you're capable to answering them since I don't believe anyone else can..."
ZeldaAPP 1:59 AM "Your test will not be among only warriors and fighters. It is how you engage with the land itself. For lack of it as it is now," Zelda shook her head at the thought. "I will try to answer your questions to the best of my ability. Ask and I will see." She didn't have much on her, but she figured at the very least, she'd let the others know her intentions before heading deeper into the Domain.
Gatu 2:07 AM "Well, I wanted to talk to you first about the money and currency of Hyrule first, since I don't understand how it works..." Gatu asks, before he went on to explain how his wallet and money turned into a light brown string tied bag with a silver hexagonal symbol on it with a bunch of these weird hexagonal crystals of various colors, in which he pulls it out and show it to her and the crystals that are inside. He asks if these are Rupees since the lady at the counter inside the Inn accepted them as payment and then handed him back change it seemed for his purchase.
ZeldaAPP 3:47 AM Zelda quirks a brow at Gatu, eyeing the currency and his wallet in particular. "Are you certain no other person could have explained this?" She considered. "But, very well. The currency of this land is called a Rupee. Different colors designate different values. Green is one rupee. Blue: five, Red: 20, Purple: 50. There is also a less common, though highly valued Orange which is 200. You may see those more among the upper class of society, though others are not unknown to have carried them. " She gave whatever explanation she could regarding the money.
Gatu 4:22 PM "I see. Well, thanks for informing me about the currency." Gatu thanked her. "I also wish to know more about the Goddesses you speck of. I assume they're some sort of deities?"
ZeldaAPP 2:47 AM Zelda continued walking, assuming he'd follow given the circumstances. She had to gather up whatever she needed from the Wolfos. Some food to go would be nice. "They are the governing forces of the land. The Three Goddesses, Farore, Din, and Nayru. Together, they brought about the world we live in as well as left behind the Triforce. The holders of the pieces are Myself, Link and Ganondorf," she explained, stepping onto the boarding path to the inn. She glanced at the house attached to it, wondering if she should pay a visit at some point.
"As it is told, Din created the land, Farore provided the life within it and Nayru established the order by which the other aspects would govern themselves. Together, they all create balance. When that balance is disturbed, it tends to create problems and difficulties. However, when it is maintained, the opposite is true. The Three are the ones responsible for this flood, for they thought it necessary to cover the land in these waters so that it might sustain itself against Ganondorf's misdeeds. Of course, it is left up to those who remain to play their part or in my case, my duty."
She entered into the inn, paying for some dry foods and ingredients to take along with her for her travels. When she was satisfied with what she was provided, she paid and tucked them all away for safekeeping. Her work was now finished here and she needed to get to the Domain. The Inn has served its purpose and she's glad to have occupied it for the time she needed.
Departing the place, she began to leave when she thought she may have spotted something unusual in the waters. "I don't remember them being this dark..." is muttered.
Gatu 3:11 AM Gatu keeps up with Zelda as she tells him of the Goddesses. He uses his remaining money to buy a backpack with some food and a water canteen. "I plan to come with you, if that's okay Princess. Perhaps if I stick with you, I can find more answers as to why the Goddesses brought me here." Gatu said, before he also notices the water.
"Something's up with the water, because back home it's crystal blue and clear... but the color in the waters now are off, but not just due to the flood waters... Something feels wrong... We best make our way to Zora's Domain and see what's going and not delay, since they could need help. Since you seem to know the way, you lead and I'll follow."
