Spoof APP 10:50 PM It's midday. The typical throngs of people filling the marketplace are present, making it difficult to make one's way through the market square. The dischordant commotion from vendors and shoppers, from tavernkeepers, beggers, and street performers filled the air with a cacophony that made it difficult to focus on any one thing unless you had a mind to. The sun was partially behind the clouds above, casting a lazy, afternoon haze upon the ground. In all other circumstances, it was an ordinary day, one like the many, many before it over the past few years.
And then a noise overtook all of it.
CRACK!
The closest sound that anyone could relate it to would be a gigantic powderkeg had bursted forth under the gentle coaxing of a spark of flame. And yet no telltale sign of fire, flame, or smoke could be found. The loud was so defeaning that anyone present would find their ears ringing, and the attention of all those denizens in the square would have their attentions turned, their ears craning to triangulate the sound. The closest anyone could guess would be that it came from where the Temple of Time once stood.
And if someone were in the square, through the thickened fog of diluted hearing, one could start to hear the screams of panic. :+1: 2

Before long, those closest to the the park now where the Temple once stood start to rush away in terror -- trying to get away... heading anywhere as if to find safety. They're bound to push into the thick of the crowd, and it practically sets off a chain reaction as people start to push their way in many directions at once. People get carried along with the flood as whatever remains behind them laps at their heels.
If one had a clear view of the scene from above, one could see a thick, black miasma -- tinged with purple and red veins of who would know what -- oozing freely through the portal. That, apparently, would have been the loud crack from earlier as the seal had broken into a thousand pieces and magic, now dead and cut off from its source, fizzled against the ground. As the miasma oozes out from the Temple in all directions, it slowly makes its way into the market square. As it catches up to those unfortunately at the rear of the crowd, cries of pain pierce through the general chaos.
Torgem 1:13 AM What is this? A MARKET FOR ANTS?!
That is one of the first thoughts that races across Torgem's mind as he rumbles into Hyrule Castle Town for the first time. With his trusty backpack, itself nearly doubled his own large size, strapped across his shoulders, the goron glances around with curious purple eyes. With most only coming up to his waist (at best), it felt just a little strange to feel so many brush past him. The throngs of Hyrule Castle Market was real. So were the smells. The noises. The delights. As it opens up in front of him, Torgem takes a moment to appreciate the market in all of its beauty.
Then... CRACK! The noise that echoes from the Temple of Time to send people running is a startling one - so much so that the goron lifts his hands in a bit of fright. "Aaaah?" He drawls, watching as the flood of people wash against him as if he were a rock in the river. He manages to stay purely stationary in the chaos, though begins to naturally panic like everyone else. Thing is? He's too scared he'll crush someone accidentally! So he just stays still. For now, anyway. Cries of pain soon fill the air, forcing the goron to slowly (yet surely) turn around. Perhaps his business will have to wait another day. One where the market wasn't under attack.
rauru (posed by aubrey) APP 10:07 AM It's peculiar how crises work. Sometimes, you know with certainty that something bad is coming, but you don't know precisely what form it will take, and worse, you don't know when it will come. So you prepare as best you can, and you keep watch, and you tell yourself to remain vigilant...but in the meantime, life goes on. There are people to care for, and work to be done, and hang it all, everyone's got to have a little fun every so often.
And then the crisis comes, and suddenly you realize just how much you've relaxed your guard.
Rauru looks up from treating a cut on a small child's leg in the meaner part of town. Just before the sound, he senses something happening in the magical realm, something strong and foreboding. Knowing his old legs won't take him where he needs to go anywhere near quickly enough, Rauru transforms into a golden spark and whizzes over the rooftops. He takes his natural form again upon arrival in the town square and sees something like a hideous mudslide coming from the Temple. o.o Lifting his arms, Rauru erects a shimmering barrier a little ways past the edge of the ooze, hoping to halt its advance long enough for the crowd to evacuate.
Why a little ways past the edge instead of stopping it entirely? Why, because there are already some people caught in it up to their ankles or worse, and Rauru wouldn't want to leave them trapped on the other side of the barrier as the sludge piles up around them. Rauru looks around desperately while holding the magic and spots a potential solution. "Ho there, goron! Can you reach the people caught in there and pull them out?! I don't know how long I can keep this back!"
Link
- fireball: 12:16 PM
Link rides towards the town with the group of guards gathered from the Gerudo Fortress. They encounter droves of fleeing Hylians along the road. His eyes are fixed on the massive dark cloud that is forming over the castle town. Its ominous shadow obscures the sun and has cooled the otherwise warm day and sends a chilling wind through the bones of the approaching warriors. It is difficult to tell what time it is -- it feels as if night is approaching.
Crow
- bird: 4:12 PM
A scruffy headed Hylian draws close to Castle Town, bow strung loose on his back, his short sword in the sheath on his belt.
"Huh, ominous cloud, chilly weather. What happened to the so called "beautiful" Castle Town. Maybe I'm in the wrong place..."

Irina
- snowflake: 12:55 AM
The horses approach the drawbridge but slow down, refusing to get closer to the cloud, the ooze, and whatever else is in there. Irina sees Crow and watches him for a moment, making sure he is not injured. As he seems just... kind of lost or disoriented, Irina turns again to the drawbridge. Dismounting, she crosses the drawbridge and tries to make it as quickly as she can into the market, crossing people who are still running out in panic.
Crow
- bird: 12:57 AM
Seeing Irina stride in Crow decides that he could be helpful. "Hey, wait up!" he shouts running in after her, narrowly avoiding the ooze.
Link
- fireball: 1:02 AM
Link's attention is drawn to the Hylian that calls out to Irina. He commands the troops to stop before they enter the village and rides to his side. He looks at the ooze creeping upon the town and extends his gloved hand,"Come with us!"
Crow
- bird: 1:06 AM
Surprised at Link's offer, Crow runs to him and replies, "Crow at your service sir, how can I help?"
Crow
- bird: 10:23 AM
Nervous and self conscious, Crow adds "I may not be very strong, but I can help where it's needed"
Irina
- snowflake: 10:36 AM
Irina is ahead of Link with the guards. She walks slower as she sees the ooze everywhere. Even without the princess or the Captain to command them, the Hylian guards have been tending to the injured and transporting them to a temporary camp in Kakariko. When the group arrives, Irina looks at the guards in disbelief, wondering what could cause all of this... One of the guards sees the portal where the Temple of Time used ti be and mouths, loud enough for them to hear, "What is... THAT..." (edited)
Crow
- bird: 10:41 AM
"If I had to guess," Crow says smiling but trying not to overstep his knowledge and embarrass himself, "I would call it ooze or muck. Most like created by the ominous cloud floating above us."
Crow
- bird: 10:48 AM
Crow then realizes that they were referring to the portal and slightly blushes, "Oh, you meant what is THAT.....I suppose that makes more sense."

Torgem 5:57 PM When guards and others begin to fall into Castle Town behind him, Torgem turns about. With all the citizens having fled for their lives, the towering goron was the only one left in the market! Panic had struck him though, meaning his knees were so wobbly that he couldn't flee even if he wanted to. "Help!" He bellows to the horse riders, lifting a mighty stone arm and waving it to get attention. "There is a mysterious sludge!"
With others beginning to arrive, the stoney humanoid begins to gain some of his courage back. Safe to say, conflict isn't really his thing. Even with his imposing figure!
Pointing wildly to the Temple of Time, he tries his best to gesture to the obvious source of all this. "That building must be evil!" He declares. "Better bring it to the ground. If you need me to destroy its foundations, you need only let me know." He beams a square-toothed grin, oblivious that the Temple of Time is a structure of severe importance.
Crow
- bird: 6:06 PM
Crow sees the panic struck Goron and runs to him. "I don't think that would be the best idea," Crow says with a smile, "The Temple of Time is rather important. However we might want to try to create a wall or moat to stop the sludge."
Link
- fireball: 12:32 AM
The scene is, without a doubt, overwhelming. Amidst the injured Hylians, panicked cries, and the gaping glowing portal that has emerged over the ruins from where the Temple of Time once stood in its full glory. The ooze emanates a violet hue, accentuating the chaos and alarm that has gripped the once peaceful urban core of Hyrule.
Link replies to Crow's offer, "Stay close to the guard. Please help us tend to the wounded." The warrior looks into the ooze and tosses something into it, only to see it immediately smolder into nothingness. He then turns to a column of horsemen led by Kagetora, "To the temple! But beware of that... stuff. Don't touch it." He leads the riders towards the temple, careful to avoid the unknown toxic substance.
Kagetora APP 1:27 AM Kagetora nods to Link and turns to the rest of the guards. "You heard him. Let's go!" The riders try to approach the temple ruins but the horses are hard to control, somehow knowing that there is something very wrong with the substance that flows everywhere. The guards finally decide to dismount and approach the temple by foot, avoiding the ooze the best they can..
Irina
- snowflake: 1:33 AM
Irina also approaches the temple, trying to find paths through the ooze and helping get up those who are still trapped in it. She finally gets close enough to the temple along with the rest of the group and grabs the spear she borrowed from the Fortress. Holding it with both hands, Irina approaches the portal and stops at what she thinks is a safe distance, trying to examine it from there.
Crow
- bird: 10:19 AM
Crow, who is currently running around not unlike that of a chicken with his head cut off, beings to follow the guards, pulling people away from the muck. He looks up at the portal again, and begins to feel a responsibility, almost a need, to be right there at the portal. So in a moment of a rash stupidity, he runs up and stands next to @Link, ready to face anything that may or may not come through the portal.
Mipha 10:32 AM Though it took a while to get there, Mipha finally burst from the moat of the castle town, her exit from the water powerful enough to send her gracefully flipping over the wall. When she impacted the ground, she rolled fiercely with her spear out and ready, on her feet in a moment's notice. She didn't, however, expect to see the sheer amount of people who were harmed. Almost on instinct, she sprints toward the group of injured, immediately getting to work at healing the wounded. "It's alright now. I will heal you." She would say soothingly to each and every crying face.
Sidon
- ocean: 1:24 PM
It takes longer for Sidon to arrive, and not because of his passenger. When he finally emerges from the water, an entire legion of Zora emerge down the banks with him. Among them are those carrying relief supplies, tents, and medical supplies alongside healers and soldiers both. The Zora beckon the Hylians to themselves, ushering them away from the city should any go with them to move them somewhere safe before setting up camp, at least for those the Hylian guards to not tend to as runners move yo organize with the Hylian defenders.
A good hundred soldiers break off with the Prince, moving further down the banks towards the city before marching through its main gates... And beholding the miasma.
"Squads of ten, see if there is anyone left behind. Get them to safety and wait for word on how the Hylians wish to handle this. It is their city, not ours. Do not do anything rash!" And with that he breaks away, heading for the temple of time as soldiers scatter.
Crow
- bird: 1:34 PM
Sweat begins to form on Crows forehead. He's never been a position like this, he hears the shouting of people behind him, the crying of the wounded yet he also feels the evil pouring out from the portal. "So, does anyone here actually have a plan?", he asks to the people standing near the protal with him.
Revali 4:16 PM A loud sonic boom can be heard from the sky as Revali bursts through the air, spreading his wings out to quickly slow his landing, landing lightly on the ground near the sludge. "Blech..." He mumbled, watching the stuff move and twist around. "If it wasn't toxic, I'm sure it would stain my poor feathers if I got that on me." He then decided to take to the air just a bit, flapping over the goop and to the group gathering in front of the portal. He readies his bow and prepares himself for the worst.
Rome
- revali: 4:20 PM
Rome didn't make it very quickly, the horse wasn't really that cooperative, but he finally made it to the castle town. Hopping off the horse in favor of being on his own feet, which felt like jelly now, he made a mad dash toward the injured, looking over the group before seeing the Temple. He tilted his head, briefly reminded of the Clock Tower, before dashing toward the group gathered in front of it, avoiding the miasma, but just barely. Once next to the group, he pulled his sword off his back, the red and ice blue glow bouncing off his face.
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 5:41 PM
Marie had stayed on @Sidon's back for the majority of the trip, managing to stay on even through the raging waters. Once at the Temple of time, however, she backflipped off, landing on her feet and spinning the small pole she had strapped to her waist to extend it out into a full on spear. Her face was red hot, but it was almost impossible to tell if that was due to stress or the fact she was on Sidon's back.

Link
- fireball: 12:01 AM
Weapons drawn, Link and the guards at the Temple brace themselves for whatever may come. Reaching the portal required leaving their horses so they are at a slight disadvantage. The ooze continues to pour through. He turns to a guard and says, "Prepare to report back to the princess and Nabooru what you have seen. We may need reinforcements."
Distant screams can be heard back in Castle Town. The Temple, however, is vacant and empty. The only sound is the low murmur of the ooze, a heavy liquid sound that appears to be consuming everything it touches. Link spots a glowing orange light and raises an arrow to it, then immediately releases.
Irina
- snowflake: 12:19 AM
One by one, people from the Fortress start arriving, some of them whom Irina doesn't even know. First it's Mipha in the distance, healing people along with a big group of Zoras, then Revali, Crow, Rome, and eventually Sidon come to join the group. When Irina sees the Zora prince, her first impulse is to smile, but then she sees there is somebody just sitting on his back and raises an eyebrow in confusion. Before she realizes who it is, Link lets out his arrow and Irina turns to face the portal with her spear ready. In the meantime, a guard is already out of the area and heading back to the Fortress.
Torgem 5:47 AM As Link and the guards, along with a Zora and troupe (?) along with Irina and others all arrive, Torgem feels a bit lost and confused. The hulking goron takes a conservative approach for now, perhaps keen to just stay away from it all of the combat and confrontation.
With so many people rushing about it makes it difficult to flee! So he just sort of crouches next to one of the buildings, nice and out of the way so others can do their business on settling whatever it is that is happening.
Crow
- bird: 1:21 PM
As more people appear, Crow becomes more and more nervous. "So, if anyone has that plan, that would be phenomenal."
Spoof APP 9:20 AM By now, Castle Town is now awash with black goo. It continues to ooze unabated through the marketplace, sticking to the ground, the walls, anything that it seems to come into contact with as it haphazardly makes its way across the alleyways. By now, many have evacuated or otherwise gotten out of the path, though some, well... were obviously not going to be quite so lucky. Rauru's attempts were able to slow it... though barely. It would give people time, but the darkness within the malignant liquid would only serve to eventually fatigue the man if he held it indefinitely. As for Link's efforts, they're somewhat more effectual; the Light Arrow will certainly push the ooze back -- though really only by a handful of centimetres -- before even the light is consumed by the liquid. With an infinite number of arrows, the trick might work, but it's likely going to take more arrows and magic that Link would have to clean up the mess.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:33 AM
Irina watches the ooze retreat under Link's arrow to then swallow it moments afterwards. She sighs to herself; it was a good try. Hearing crow, he turns to him. "I am not sure if we can do anything other than keeping people away from it. Trying to get through that gate would likely be suicide." Still holding her spear and facing the source of the ooze, she looks at the hero, wondering if this looks familiar at all. "Link, wasn't this where the old portal to Termina was?" She has been gone from Hyrule for too long, so she trusts the hero's experience. "What should we do?"
Link
- fireball: 10:37 PM
Link looks to Irina and agrees. "We must find the source and destroy it, otherwise our actions will be ineffectual." He looks back to the group, "Retreat your position and prepare to seal off the castle town. This cannot be allowed to spread to the rest of Hyrule." He leads the group through the precarious path back towards the town and mutters, "Whatever this is, it isn't from this world."
Irina
- snowflake: 11:43 PM
Irina nods to Link, seeing how the sun is setting as she places her spear on her back. "The drawbridge will be closing soon. That might keep it from spreading to the rest of Hyrule, but at this pace it will still reach the castle." When the group walks back to the town, they can see that the last few injured people are being carried out by guards and Zora as quickly as they can via the drawbridge. Irina spots Prince Sidon and Marie and approaches them. "Thank you both for joining us, and for bringing help. It looks like everybody is safe in Kakariko by now."
Link
- fireball: 12:17 AM
Link laments, gazing off towards the castle, "A palace can be rebuilt, lives cannot."
Crow
- bird: 7:52 AM
Crow asks what he thinks is a stupid question, "Could we empty the moat around Castle Town?"
Torgem 6:02 PM "Begone, foul goop!" Torgem cries in defiance, his purple eyes widening as the black goo spreads throughout Castle Town. The goron himself, now pinned to one of the market corners, is swinging around a piece of cloth to try and 'flick' the mysterious liquid away. It seems that once backed into a corner, the native of Death Mountain is more than willing to go on the offensive! ...even if he's attacking nothing sentient.
With the heroes off a little bit, he shoots them a glance in some curiosity. "Tch." He gets out, frustrated that even they appear unable to solve the issue quickly.
Revali 11:42 AM When Revali saw Link fire off an arrow, he frowned. Why was his arrows so much more magnificent and glowy? I SHOULD HAVE ARROWS THAT SPARKLY! He thinks to himself, crossing his wings and hmphing, turning his head to the side before shaking his head and looking in the direction of the Portal. After a moment of pondering, he pulls out his bow and readies five explosive arrows.

Link
- fireball: 3:11 PM
Link spots Torgem stuck. He turns to the others and says, "Wait here!" He moves to scale over and along rooftops and part of the wall over to where the goron is at. He sees him escape but persists and asks, "Are you okay?" His attention is suddenly diverted, however, by the explosions in the distance.
Irina
- snowflake: 3:40 PM
Irina thinks about Crow's suggestion. "I don't know if we can empty the moat, but I might be able to do something with that water." She then finds small paths through the ooze to get to the alleyway that leads to the castle. As she passes by Link, she calls out to him. "I am going to try to block the gate to the castle. I will be back soon!" Luckily, the ooze is still in Castle Town, so she leaves through the empty alleyway to quickly make her way to the castle.
Mipha 4:37 PM Once Mipha and the other Zora had done all they could for the citizens, at least in the town for now, Mipha raises her voice. "Get these people to safety!" She shouts to her group of healers, them taking action and obeying at once. Once they were on their way, Mipha dashed to join the group gathered near the portal, wary of the flashing light and the explosion, but also doing a great job of avoiding the ooze. That is, until she missteps.... and gets her foot covered in the stuff. She falls to the ground face first, screaming in pain before biting it down, crawling away from the stuff she got into.
Crow
- bird: 5:24 PM
Crow, always the gentlemen, sees Mipha fall and immediately runs to her. "Here, need a hand?" he says reaching towards her.
Mipha 9:08 PM Mipha hesitated briefly before nodding and taking Crow's hand. "Thank you." She spoke softly, wincing when she took a light step back. Her foot was severely burned.
Crow
- bird: 9:26 PM
"Think you can walk on that?" Crow asks doing his best to be reassuring.
Mipha 12:27 PM "Probably..." She mumbles, whimpering when she begins to limp on her foot, before gently letting herself to the ground with her spear, setting down the spear afterwards and sitting cross legged with her injured food on the outside. Momentarily, she places her hands on her foot, a light shining from her hand as her foot begins to heal, but she doesnt seem to be able to fully heal it without scarring. There was something sinister about this stuff. Mipha didn't like it one bit.
Crow
- bird: 8:17 PM
"Man, if I could do that..", Crow says impressed by her healing abilities. He crouches down next to her, "So how are you able to do that? Oh, and I'm Crow, by the way." (edited)
Torgem 5:10 PM The Hylian with blonde hair and badass looking weapons demands a hard stare from the purple-eyed goron. Torgem just looks at the figure as he bounds over via rooftop, stunned by the athletic display of acrobatics. "...yeah," He grunts lowly - voice echoing from deep within his throat. "I'm fine, Hylian. If that's what you are." The explosions also cause the goron to look afar, his fists clenching. Summoning as much courage as he can muster, he heaves a breath. "Can I help you and the soldiers at all? I have no magic, but..." He's large. And presumably strong.

Irina
- snowflake: 10:22 PM
After a while, all civilians have been evacuated from the town and castle to either Kakariko or the Crimson Wolfos. The sound of the drawbridge closing is heard and all that is left is the ooze, along with the group that arrived from the Gerudo area, Torgem, and Crow. If anybody was planning on leaving throw the drawbridge, it’s too late now, but at least it will keep the ooze from getting to Hyrule Field —for now.
Crow
- bird: 10:27 PM
Crow hears the drawbridge and begins to slightly panic, "Well, now all that we have is one night to figure out what to do with this ooze... If anyone's religious, I suggest you start praying." After that bleak statement, Crow walk towards the ooze, trying to "examine" it.
Irina
- snowflake: 10:31 PM
Coming back from the castle and into the town, Irina seems a bit tired but rejoins the group. “The gate to the castle is closed and I created an ice barrier behind it. Hopefully it will hold if the ooze makes its way there. I don’t think there is much more we can do without somebody that can protect it with some strong light magic.” Looking at Link, she hmms, “So now that everybody is evacuated and the exits are blocked, what is the plan?”
Crow
- bird: 11:16 PM
"Yeah," Crow says still staring at the ooze, "A plan would be great right about now, it seems the ooze is picking up speed."
Link
- fireball: 11:33 PM
Link helps the goron to safety. He is mindful of all the activity happening but doesn't appear to be overwhelmed. As he heads back to the group he replies to Torgem's query, "At this point, just try to stay alive. We need to stick together. It looks like it will be a long night."
He sees Irina return and puts his hand on her shoulder. "You really need to stop disappearing like that. Please let me know what you are going to do so that we don't lose people going after you." He looks back to the castle, "What did you do, anyway? Are you okay?" Irina's exhausted expression does not go unnoticed.
Link turns to Crow and Mipha and kneels before the injured zora, "Ma'am, are you okay? Your powers are... impressive." He looks to her healed foot and the toxic substance that is encroaching upon castle town.
Mipha 11:37 PM "My name is Mipha. I am the new queen of the Zora." She says softly to Crow. Mipha then looks up at Link, blinking her eyes before her face turns even more red than it is naturally. "I'll be fine..." She mumbles lightly, turning her head downcast, hoping the blush wasnt noticed as she raises up. "Thank you."
Rome
- revali: 11:44 PM
Rome furrowed his brow at the sludge, but kept mostly to himself. He remained fairly quiet for the most part, mostly examining the area carefully to watch for any change in how the stuff reacts, but also watching for more places the sludge might be coming from. After a while, he nods, joining the group. "If I might interject, I dont think this stuff is only coming from the Temple. I fear it may have gotten into the sewers and started building up there. If we don't find out something soon, there is a chance we might not even have the entire night to really figure out what's going on, though I have a sneaky suspicion that Ganondorf has something to do with this, and if that's the case, that portal leads to Termina." He states calmly, sliding his sword back in its scabbard on his back.
Revali 11:47 PM Revali briefly listened over Rome's words and the current situation, before stepping back into the group. "Should I survey the area?" He asks calmly, suprisingly not as snide as he usually is... At least at first. "Wings come awfully handy in situations like this."
Sidon
- ocean: 11:54 PM
It takes some time for the Prince to arrive at the temple proper, having navigated through a city full of evil sludge and trying to help people along his way. Eventually he emerges unto the temple courtyard, cuts and scraps marring flesh where his armor does not cover, though blessedly none from the ooze. "Mipha!" He calls out as his eyes fall upon his sister as she heals herself, running up and stopping a few paces from her as to not crowd her with too many people.
With a furrowed brow he looks from Link to Revali and everyone else in turn, asking loud enough for his voice to carry to those nearby, "Can someone tell me what is known about this.. Sludge?"
Link
- fireball: 12:16 AM
Link's eyes meet Sidon's and Revali's as they arrive. He politely dismisses himself from Mipha's side and takes a spot next to the Terminian visitor. He replies to Sidon, "As Rome stated, this is likely the work of the dark lord Ganondorf. There is a portal open over the temple... at this point we don't know where it goes nor how to stop the myasmia, but Irina feels she has successfully blocked off the castle and the town has been evacuated."
Crow
- bird: 8:33 AM
Crow turns to Mipha and says, "You're blushing, how cute." He then stands up in a louder voice says, "So this ooze, muck, sludge, or whatever you want to call it is speeding up. It disintegrates anything that touches, except water, which it reacts explosively to. So what are we gonna do with it?"
Irina
- snowflake: 10:14 AM
Irina nods to Link. “Sorry about that.” She looks at the portal, wondering what can be done, but then something she heard suddenly hits. “New... queen...?” Turning to Sidon, she approaches him with a sad and concerned expression. “I am so sorry, Your Highness.” She then bows her head to Mipha, “Your Majesty.”
Crow
- bird: 1:18 PM
"By explosively, I mean it fizzles and pops, as opposed to burning."' Crow says attempting to specify
Rauru APP 2:05 PM Rauru holds his barrier until his immediate area is evacuated, then releases it with a grunt and spark-zips away. The piled-up goo tumbles inward, making up for lost time. Not that it matters too much; other fronts of the muck had gotten around and even a little bit behind Rauru.
Rauru finds the group that Link is part of and materializes there. Hearing the mention of using strong light magic to defend against the goop, he shakes his head wearily. "It does seem to have some weakness to light, but I suspect it is not composed purely of shadow magic. There is something...otherly about it, something foreign to the typical six magical elements." :/
Crow
- bird: 4:16 PM
Crow looks at the man who just magically appeared, "Six magical elements?"
Link
- fireball: 11:23 AM
Link turns back to Mipha when Irina addresses her. He didn't catch her earlier statement she was now the zora... queen? He looks confused, then concerned, obviously not up to speed on Zora politics. He kneels before her and asks, "Your... highness? I, um, your father? Ruto?" The implications of a new queen catch him off guard.
Torgem 5:02 PM Torgem rumbles in from behind Link, the twelve-foot humanoid of rock surveying the likes of Mipha, Rome, Crow (who spoke to him just before!), Irina, Revali and of course Sidon. Rauru's arrival causes him to blink in some confusion, having never seen much magic before!
Safe to say, the conversation is well above him. Ganondorf? Portals? Termina? His brow creases in thought and mild confusion, as he tries to make sense of all this chatter. Somewhat grumpily the goron just stands there, folding arms across his chest in an effort to look a whole lot more tough and brave than he currently feels.
The new Queen of the Zora announcing herself as such causes his purple eyes to focus just a smidgen, as he scans Mipha's form up and down.
Risa APP 5:28 PM A young but fierce Gerudo woman appears out of the shadows brandishing a rake. She stabs at the ooze angrily only to watch her weapon fizzle into smoke. She angrily tosses it into the toxic substance that reaches for her sandals, her face illuminated by the spark of light that flares as the wooden handle is engulfed by the poison. She turns back to the group out of ideas.
Spoof APP 2:04 AM The Gerudo sent to work with the group have been pulling their own survey of the area, making certain to keep to higher points and away from the pitch substance spreading around the town. Observing upon their return what happened to Risa's weapon, they clutched theirs with some concern and hope the same wouldn't happen.
"There's a place, a mansion, that should be safe for us to use. There are some Gerudo that call it their home, however that does not mean they may be inclined to offer it so easily. At least, not without something in return," one of them spoke up. "It is also host to others of ill repute, but there is no telling if they have evacuated or still remain. If we go, we must act quickly to see if the place is open to use. It should contain food, water, and supplies to last us through the night until the bridge rises again in the morning."
Kagetora APP 10:52 AM Kagetora watches the angry Gerudo with wide eyes, not even knowing where she came from before she started stabbing at the ooze. Once the frustrated Risa is done, he grabs one of the few spears the other guards left for the group. Approaching Risa and tossing the spear for her to grab, he chuckles, "That was a good try."
Risa APP 5:44 PM With one hand and one solid movement, Risa grabs the spear, spins it over her head, and sheathes it behind her back. She winks to the young warrior then turns to another Gerudo guard and says, "I almost want to hurt him so I can take him home and heal him."
Sidon
- ocean: 10:27 PM
Crow receives a stern glare as he casually remarks upon Mipha, Sidon's stance shifting from calm to tight anticipation as he carefully watches the man. "It is polite to not remark upon a woman when such things occur, especially a Queen. Please, do try to show a bit of respect."
Irina is given a smile as she offers her condolences, along with a gentle, and upbeat, "There is a time for mourning and a time for action, and now is not the time for the former. We must be strong, as the people will to us as pillars of strength and support." He then shifts to address Link, "King Zora has passed away, and Princess Ruto is founding a new kingdom of her own to expand our own lands." The firey spirit of Risa, stabbing away at the ooze, brings a smile to Sidon's lips as he calls out, "We should be more like her! Tackling our problems in any way we can and testing all methods available!"
Irina
- snowflake: 11:43 PM
Irina nods to Prince Sidon, knowing he is right, and gazing at the ground in front of her thoughtfully. She then looks to Revali, remembering his offer and finally answering his question. "If you could survey the area from above and let us know what you see, that would be very helpful."
The woman then turns to see the portal. "We need to close that gate somehow, or to stop the ooze from coming through." Then she approaches it, watching it carefully. "Let me try something. It's almost liquid, after all." She raises her hand slightly in front of her, attempting to freeze the ooze inside the gate despite of the dark magic she can feel within it.
Spoof APP 12:35 AM A few of the guards nod in agreement with Risa, eyeing Crow carefully with mixed expressions ranging between smiles and careful scrutiny of his body. Which part of it should be hurt? Arm, leg, torso? These are the important questions.
The others are nonplussed. "We'll seek out any food that has been left here and piece together meals for us. No need to go hungry being chased by some evil pitch," the captain of the guards speaks. "Spread out and find what you can and be mindful of the ooze," she commanded, sending her group out to search. It'll keep them occupied and some less concerned with mutilating Crow to practice their medical abilities.
Kagetora APP 1:01 AM Kagetora raises an eyebrow at the Gerudo guards, obviously not liking their intentions one bit. When the captain sends the guards out, Kagetora approaches her. "Thank you," he says relieved. The other Hylian guards are out of the Castle Town area and taking care of the injured, so he can't send them to help the Gerudo. Regardless, he turns to Risa. "I will be happy to fight you once this is over. Hopefully I will be a worthy opponent." He grins to the Gerudo, enjoying the challenge.
Risa APP 1:38 AM A strange feeling washes over Risa. It is a feeling she has never felt before. She begins to open her mouth but her lips do not move. She feels her cheeks suddenly warm. A look of panic flashes in her eyes and then she replies some from deep within her soul, her voice the soft caress of a goron sword across the skull of a lizalfos, "I will try not to destroy you, voe." She remembers she needed to kill something and runs off to help other Gerudo guards. Far away Gerudo guards.

Kagetora APP 11:10 AM Kagetora does not even have time to reply to Risa when she is already gone. He scratches the back of his head, confused.
Not really knowing what just happened, he turns to the woman attempting to stop the ooze from pouring and comes closer. The ninja-like guard readies himself and holds the hilt of his sword behind his shoulder, in case something were to go wrong.
Link
- fireball: 11:40 PM
Link respectfully and solemnly kneels before Prince Sidon and Queen Mipha. "I am sorry for the loss of your father. It was an honor to fight for him, for the zoras. He helped save Hyrule." He stands, seeming slightly relieved, "I wish I could have said goodbye to your sister, but I know she will be safe wherever she goes. Please accept my pledge to continue serving alongside the zora."
He ignores the talk of mutilations and twisted romance and focuses on the task at hand. "We should bring the civilians to the Gerudo stronghold and house them there until we can safely escape to the field. Afterwards, we should cut off castle town until we have a better strategy."
Crow
- bird: 9:27 AM
Crow, hoping the pressure will ease up, knows he has to address three important figures. First he slightly bows his to Mipha and apologizes, "I'm sorry, Your Highness, I didn't meant to be impolite, merely stating observations." He then turns to Link, and almost yells, "Finally! A plan. How can I help?"
Rome
- revali: 10:06 AM
Rome was a bit annoyed by how Crow had treated the royalty. He kept mostly quiet and to himself, slightly amused at the thought of the mutilation deciding to step up some time after the Gerudo left, and after Link had offered a plan. "Quiet it down a bit, would you? First you're disrespectful to a woman, a Queen at that, then you have to be obnoxious afterward. Link will let us know how each of us can help, I'm sure." Though his tone of voice seemed strange, a bit off kilter. Perhaps stress, or maybe something a bit more sinister, was getting to him. He turned around and headed toward one the abandoned shops, something seeming to be bothering him one way or another.
Revali 10:15 AM Revali wasn't there for Rome's confrontation, he flew upward to survey they area after Irina addressed him. "I knew you needed my talents, watch, I'll find something great." He stated right before he swooped straight up into the air, a gale following him up as he rocketed. (edited)
Crow
- bird: 1:31 PM
Crow was embarrassed so he stepped back almost in the ooze before catching himself. "Why did I come here again?" he asked himself quietly turning and crouching to once again watch the ooze creep towards him. "So far I've offended two different Royal figures and some other guy, been annoying to everyone I've met, thrown some rocks into ooze, and watch said ooze creep towards me. Real nice, Crow, real nice."
Link
- fireball: 10:32 PM
Link pats Crow on the shoulder as he walks back towards the group and says so that all can hear, "We need to stick together tonight. Come on, let's head out to the Gerudo house." He follows the desert warriors into the town, surveying the increasing damage to the town. His attention is caught by the Orni that swoops into the air, wondering if he can spot that is less vulnerable to the encroaching ooze.
Spoof APP 6:17 AM For now, it seems, the flow of ooze getting out of Hyrule Castle Town has been successful, though at what cost? If one were able to survey the town from above, Castle Town is truly a sad state. While not every bit of pavement, surface, or wall may have been covered, it would require a rather careful set of steps to make ones way from one end of town to the other. If one truly looked close enough, the ooze might be seen to flow in rather unnatural patterns as pools are slowly congealing and combining together, creating some sense of "architecture" to the mess. No significant life can be found within except for maybe a few stray birds atop rooftops high enough to escape the onslaught, but even many of them have evacuated just from the unnatural aura and the significant stench wafting upwards. Any Hylians or otherwise intelligent life has either escaped or... well, either found a very secure spot or... best not to think that far. Who can say how many souls didn't make it out?
Further in from the castle wall, the flow of ooze perpetuating from the portal has now significantly slowed. If one could analogise, it's as if the water pressure coming through a spigot had lessened or someone had turned down the tap down to something of a low trickle. For now, it's isolated, though who can say what might be found on the other side of that gap? Looking through the portal into Termina is next to impossible.
As for the castle, the ice seems to be holding for now, but even that cannot last forever. It may just be enough -- at least for now -- but again that rather unnaturalness makes one wonder as significant sections of that ooze have sloshed its way into the long pathway leading up to the guardsmen's gate leading up to Hyrule Castle. But outside of the castle, every source of water has turned a putrid black -- from the fountains to the small pools through the sewer systems. And someone no doubt knows that there's water flowing into and out of the castle from somewhere. How long will it hold? It's anyone's guess.
Xu
- chicken: 6:22 AM
It's about this time that Xu appears (at long last) towards the front of the front gate of Castle Town. In her tow are a small contingent of castle guards, nobles, servants and elsewise. Behind Xu is a rather terrified Quinlan -- who is actually somewhat mollified into silence for once. For Xu's part, she seems absolutely exhausted and practically ready to collapse as she leans heavily on one of the guards supporting her weight. Amongst the nobles is a bunch of rabble-rousing commotion over things.
Torgem 4:59 PM "I am to hold up in a Gerudo stronghold?" Torgem booms lowly, eyes furrowing a little at Link when he suggests the civilians are to be evacuated and housed within the walls of the women tribe.
Regardless, he is one that takes in the notice of the ooze. Being fond of everything earth and molten, he considers himself quite knowledgeable about things that ooze. Magma, water ... well - that's it, really. And this ooze stuff didn't move like either of those! "This grime is certainly not from any volcano that I have ever been in."
Regardless, he falls into line behind the desert warriors as the others do, his towering form lumping from one side to the other as the goron makes way. "I am looking forward to seeing this mansion!"
Crow
- bird: 7:45 PM
A slight smile creeps onto Crows face as he turns to Torgem, "Just think big guy, mansion full of women!"
Spoof APP 8:13 PM The Gerudo lead the group through the back streets of castle town. These parts hosted some homes of the average citizen, but further back was an area closed off and divided from the streets due to its less than savory nature. A couple of guards moved forward to push the large metal doors, being wary of the sludge that had accumulated around the area. Creaking echoes through the alley followed by a soft thump. The entryway exposes the part of town many didn't wish to tread in.
"It is an unusual place to find refuge, this Thieves' Alley, but it appears to be just as empty as the town proper. Still, we should keep ourselves alert just in case any remain. The mansion isn't far from here," one of the guards described.
Their goal wasn't too far from here, in fact, it was within sight as parts of the mansion rose above some of the buildings here showing signs of natural weathering, but otherwise livable. Perhaps the doors and walls kept this place only slightly protected, but the pitch still found a few ways inside through cracks and holes as well as gutters to rise up from.
Passing through the front gates and through a courtyard that looks to have seen better days, the group arrives at a set of double doors. The captain of the guard moves to open the doors. "They're already unlocked..." she states, gesturing for her guards to move in first to secure the area. Best not to just toss the group in without making sure no one is going to jump out at them.
Irina
- snowflake: 9:41 PM
Irina is somehow successful at freezing whatever water is in that substance as it seems to slow the flow. However, the evil magic in the the ooze is way more powerful than Irina's water magic and sends back a full blow of the dark magic to Irina, which everybody in the area can see and hear. The shock drains a good part of her strength and her legs cannot hold her, so she ends up sitting back on her knees and with her hands on the ground, out of breath.
Torgem 9:52 PM "You realize I am a goron?" Torgem assesses to Crow with a grunt, purple eyes looking down at the man with mild confusion. "The women in this mansion aren't likely to be of my tastes. Unless they are mighty and made of rock." Hey, you never know? "But come. Let us go."
Though about to set off with his mighty backpack, the cry of Irina catches his round head. Turning to pay the woman some attention, he strides over to her location with a quaking movement. "Come, Hylian." He rumbles in a throaty yet friendly manner, reaching down to pick her up with one of his large hands. As gently as he can! "We must journey to the mansion of desert women. I can carry you if you wish?"
Whether it's with Irina cradled in an arm of having her over his shoulder to ride the way or not, Torgem begins his movement to follow the lead of the Gerudo tribe. It's slow and steady, but purposeful. Forced to duck under the front gates, each of his step rumbles the earth as he plods along. "I am getting far more exercise than I planned today. All I wanted to do was sell some of my pickled rocks."
Crow
- bird: 9:56 PM
Crow looks up to Irina, "Hey there, you alright?", then due to his short attention span, looks up to Torgem, "Pickled rocks?"

Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 11:14 PM
Marie wasn't amused with the speaking of women in the way that it was done. She didn't say anything at first, but eventually she sighs and gathers with the group. She gives a worried glance toward @Irina for a moment when she hears her, watching until the goron has her in tow one way or another. Eventually, she spins out her spear and bonks the back of Crow's head an a cartoon-comedy-like fashion. After she flips it back into its small pole shape, she slips it back into its holster, crossing her arms and walking next to him. "Watch what you say about women, because I'm sure every women in that mansion would do a heck of a lot worse than a light bonk to the head. You might lose your pickled rocks if you aren't careful." She said stagnetly, eyeballing him.

Crow
- bird: 11:19 PM
"Ah," Crow says turning to the woman who just tapped him in the back of the head, "Pretty and a sense of humor. I don't think I've introduced my self yet." He slightly bows his head "Crow at your service, and you might be?"
Irina
- snowflake: 12:18 AM
Irina hears the unfamiliar voice of the goron and looks up, her half-closed eyes show she is still disoriented and dazed from the magic blow. She then looks back down and shakes her head. "Thank you, but I will be fine. I just need a moment. Please go ahead without me." (edited)
Link
- fireball: 12:22 AM
Link is very focused on getting the group, particularly the civilians, to higher and safer ground until an escape from castle town can be made. Night is settling in. It's an oddly calm night. The high walls of the castle town obscure any weather patterns save for the cool gentle winds that are blowing from the west. A slight tinge of humidity can be felt, perhaps signaling an approaching storm.
Link looks about the unsavory neighborhood and catches a glimpse of the stars as he scans the balconies of the old buildings before Irina's collapse catches his full attention and he joins Torgem's side. He kneels next to her and hands her something small, whispering, "Don't abuse magic. Here, take this."
Irina
- snowflake: 12:29 AM
Irina nods to Link, taking the small item Link offers her. "Thank you, this will help." Still disoriented, she looks at the group heading towards the mansion. "Go with them; they need you. Don't worry, I will catch up soon." She knows where to go.
Link
- fireball: 12:34 AM
Link smiles to Irina and says, "Nonsense. There are plenty of guards protecting the others. I'll stay back until you can move again." He looks up at Torgem, "I have a strong backup, anyway."
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 8:57 AM
Marie frowned lightly when she was replied to. The response she got wasn't one she expected. "I'm Marie..." She replied lightly afterward, turning her head to face the direction they were going.
Crow
- bird: 1:24 PM
"Marie, huh?", Crow said seeing the change in posture from Marie. "Am I coming off as rude or blunt? I don't mean to." Crow looked back towards Torgem and Link. "Off topic question here, what do you think of that Goron back there?"
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 4:19 PM
Marie shrugged lightly at the response. "I don't really know him." She began, glancing toward Crow. "He seems nice, but I don't have a real opinion on him, to be honest." She turns her head back to watch ahead, frowning lightly as she continues walking forward.
Crow
- bird: 4:33 PM
"I was told I was rude for commenting like this before, however you seem to be frowning a lot. Are you ok?" Crow asked with a look somewhere between confusion and concerned. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to."
Risa APP 11:53 PM Upon arriving at the door of the Gerudo mansion, Risa appears at the door. She quickly closes it, then opens it again as if that might have made the rag tag party disappear, or change, or... who knows. She sighs and plainly asks, "Password?" One of her superiors simply glares at her and Risa responds by opening the door to the group but not without glaring back at the males.
Spoof APP 4:01 AM Before they could even get inside, the door is opened and promptly closed in their faces. "Oi! What is the meaning of--" the captain is cut off as the door is reopened and a password is requested. "What?! Do you not know the state the town is in?!" With the aid of Risa's superiors, the group is allowed inside, but not without the guards being wary of their surroundings.
"I think the menfolk should watch themselves around here..." one of the troop muttered to the group. A mansion, seemingly a place of thieves, but that was the whole idea behind this place. Certainly, it held its fair share, the majority of which are Gerudo, but they appear tame enough. Appear, being the key word.
"We have visitors here?" A voice calls up from above. She looks over the gathered crowd from the floor above prior to taking the stairs down. "I was of the impression everyone was gone. Well, allow me to be one of the first to welcome you if you haven't already been. I am Nadiya. Along with my sisters, we live and take refuge here. Not a favorable part of town to most, but for us, it works." She gestured past the foyer and into the living quarters.
"We should move along. Staying in here won't do us any good and you all can rest," she led the group further into the mansion.
"Prepare your wallets and then protect them... Staying here can come with a hefty sum..." the Captain warned the group. All of this cordiality didn't come without a price on it.
Torgem 4:54 AM "Pickled rocks." Torgem confirms to Crow as if it's no big deal. "I'm surprised you haven't heard of them. They're quite popular, you know. One day I will sell you some." A glance goes to Link as well, trying to assess the Hylian. "I am good backup, yes."
At the rear of the travelling group to the Gerudo mansion, Torgem surveys the landscape with his purple eyes as everyone comes to a standstill. He can see the doorway up ahead, though being twelve foot tall with impressive girth to match, he doesn't opt to enter as the troupe falls in. Given that the doorway itself is likely too small for his frame to safely pass through, he takes the safe choice.
"I do not want to wreck your large house, red shadows of the desert." He rumbles lowly to some of the guards nearby. "I will wait out here." And just like that? He sits. He sits with such force that the ground trembles just a smidgen around his big butt. The just-as-large backpack crashes down with him, still filled with stone collected from Hyrule Field. "Phew. My legs were getting a bit tired." (edited)
Irina
- snowflake: 2:23 PM
Irina looks up to Link and the Goron, still not completely there. She drinks the small vial Link offered her, but surprisingly it doesn't seem to help much. After trying to get up and failing a couple of times, she stands, holding her forehead for a moment and then following Link and Torgem wherever they want to take her. It's not like she knows where she's going.
Mipha 7:51 PM Mipha hadn't walked in, nor had she initially noticed Irina's condition. However, once she noticed something was off, she stepped up to Irina. "Are you alright?" She asks, tilting her head to the right slightly. "I could heal you, if you would like." She offered sheepishly, still a bit flustered over the previous embarrassments that have likely long passed.
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 7:57 PM
"Yeah, I'm fine." Marie replied simply to Crow, turning her head upwards and away from Crow, watching the sky. Truthfully, she felt really uneasy. She wasn't sure what this miasmic fluid was, but she understood that would eventually answer itself. Once the Gerudo woman finally decided to let them in, she stepped in briefly, stopping once she realized Irina wasn't coming in. She spun around, walking back toward Irina, raising an eyebrow at the Zora queen, whom seems to be flustered by something herself. Probably Crow's words to her earlier. She thought to herself, smiling slightly at the thought before entwining her fingers behind her back.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:12 PM
Irina is walking normally but is obviously weak, and so offers a weak but warm smile to @Mipha. "I apologize if I don't kneel but I am not sure if I could get up afterwards." She looks in front of her for a moment, thinking about what happened before looking back at the Zora Queen. "I appreciate it, but I felt some... really strong hatred coming from that substance when I used water magic on it. Whatever it was, I wouldn't want you to get involved in case any of its magic is still in me. I will be fine once I get some rest."
Link
- fireball: 12:10 AM
Link offers his hand to Irina, trying to help her get to the safehouse. He bows slightly before Mipha, listening to the conversation about the ooze.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:40 AM
Irina takes Link's hand and uses her friend as a support to get to the mansion. She seems exhausted physically and mentally rather than simply having used too much magic.
Spoof APP 10:12 PM The whole group finally makes it to the mansion to spend the night and get some rest.
Kagetora APP 10:24 PM Kagetora walks into the mansion and greets the Gerudo but keeps an eye on them. The guard is particularly cautious about running into Risa, who seemed interested in being nice to him in her own way.
Risa APP 12:20 AM Risa glares at the group as they enter. She clutches her spear with a death grip, ready at any moment to strike if danger should present itself. Guarding is a serious matter and Risa is a serious guard. She takes her duty seriously. Her seriousness is most visible in her intense eyes that burn like fire as they scan the entering party. Are these foreigners to be trusted? One particular foreigner catches her seriously intense eyes, it is the Hylian guard from earlier cautiously enters into the hideout. A sudden crash echoes through the halls as Risa accidentally drops her spear as he passes by.
Kagetora APP 1:03 AM Kagetora hears the loud noise right next to him and jumps away in a split second, adopting an attack position and holding the hilt of his sword behind his shoulder. When he realizes who it is, he blinks, with a confused and somehow-comical fearful expression. What is going on with this woman?!
Irina
- snowflake: 1:09 AM
Irina is also surprised at the spear crashing on the floor but is too exhausted to react sharply. She just watches Risa for a moment, not trying to find any logic in her actions.
When Nadiya approaches, Irina greets her. “Thank you for hosting us for the night. Would you happen to know if there is some body of water around here, where one could take a good bath?”
Spoof APP 3:56 PM The spear crash alerts the Gerudo guards who respond with a brandishing of their own weapons. The captain of the group reassures them that all is well as she points out the source over on the ground. With the threat cleared, they return to their former task and remain ever wary.
Nadiya attempts to address each concern as she comes across them, first taking note of the sizable goron and his matching bag. "Red Shadows of the Desert, I like it," she chuckled, seemingly unfazed by the minor quaking that just shook the area. "If you desire more suitable accommodations, we have a in the back of the mansion with a selection of stone architecture that is certain to protect you from the elements," she offered to Torgem, gesturing to the pathway that leads from the front doors and to the yard. "This same area also includes a pond. We have baths available as well in the mansion. Last we checked, there wasn't any of that sludge pouring through just yet, so they may still be safe to utilize. The pond may need some work, but once cleared of detritus, it is free to use," she explained to Irina, taking note of the Zora companions they had with them as well.
Her eyes meet the Gerudo guards who return the expressions with no particular reactions of their own. She swivels on her feet and turns away. "I will have the others assist you here if you need anything more. Whatever you need ask of, my partners here should be more than capable of answering for you all. I have them each assigned to certain duties here. Cooking, cleaning, provisions, security. Oh, speaking of security, I will have Risa assigned to your group to work closely with your excellent guard, there. That young man appears to be ready for anything. Together, they ought to keep the peace very well..." she smiled, eyeing Kagetora carefully. "If there is nothing else, I will be on my way."
The Captain stepped forward. "An extra guard will not be--" She stops herself and sighs. Nadiya has left the area. "...Risa, was it?" She began. "Since you have been...assigned to our group, I must request that you keep a steady grip of your weapon. Should anything occur, I would prefer it be in your hands and not on the floor."
Irina
- snowflake: 4:20 PM
“That is great, thank you.” Irina Looks in the direction that the Gerudo is pointing to. “With your permission, I will go ahead and clean the pond.” She heads out to the yard, asks the guards for whatever tools they have, and starts cleaning. Her exhaustion forces her to stop from time to time, but she will get it done and it will be worth it in the end.
Rauru APP 9:56 PM Rauru has been busying himself with healing anybody who needs it. He's trying to keep that to natural methods as much as possible -- after all, there are a great many people who could use help, and there may yet come a more pressing use for Rauru's magical reserves. But for cases of severe injury, he gladly expends some mana to ease their suffering. He is the Sage of Light after all, he's got more mojo than you'd be likely to scare up by picking three random mages off the street. Besides, pitting his magic against the effects of the sludge helps him to get a feel for what it really is. After a while of working through the slums in this manner, Rauru gets to the Gerudo Mansion. "Does anyone here require healing?" he asks, walking out into the yard.
Mipha 5:20 PM Mipha was mostly quiet, but when she heard a request to heal someone, she stepped up. "I too heal. If you hear of anyone needing healing, please, call on me. I am Mipha, queen of the Zora, and I will be glad to assist." She states formally, looking up at the older man with a small smile.
Risa APP 6:39 PM Risa heeds the stern command of her superior and kicks the spear that had fallen on the floor. It bounces up into her hand and in a single movement she stabs the hilt into the ground with the pointy side facing straight up, once again holding it in a death grip. She replies, while looking to Kagetora's general direction, "The only place my weapon will fall is into the entrails of my enemies."

Irina
- snowflake: 11:27 PM
"I will be fine, but thank you. If I sit down now, I will just fall asleep," Irina replies to Link before continuing her work. She was taking her time so having Link's help makes the process much faster. The pond is clean shortly after, and Irina lets the Zora royals know that it is ready to use if they wish. She approaches Link, holding her bag. "Thank you for your help. I have a big headache, so I am just going to get ready for the night and take a bath. You should get some rest; we don't know what might happen tomorrow." After wishing Link a good night, she goes into the mansion and comes out wearing her white underdress, then leaves her bag next to the edge of the pond and slips fully into the water. The pond is five or six feet deep, so she stays there for a few seconds and then reemerges, rubbing her wet hair back. After crossing her arms on the edge, she lays her cheek on them with her eyes closed, keeping the rest of her body in the water and hoping that this will have some cleansing effect against whatever hit her earlier.

- fireball: 11:33 PM
Link sits down just outside of the pond area and assures Irina, "I will join the Gerudos and stand guard tonight. Get comfortable and rest."
Kagetora APP 12:12 AM Kagetora's face wouldn't have been nearly as expressive if his superiors had asked him to kill Ganondorf himself. It's a mix of a weird fear, shock, and a silent 'why me'. Bad vibes in general. He turns to Risa only to see her looking back at him and talking about the entrails of her enemies. Yes, VERY bad vibes.
Well... She might be strange and extremely violent, but he was already being nice to her earlier, so he just shrugs the red flags off for now and approaches her. "It looks like we will be working together. My name is Kagetora, and I am a castle guard. It's a pleasure to meet you." He is cautious but still smiles, just like he did earlier in the market, and bows his head.
Risa APP 11:15 PM Risa's grip on her spear tenses as Kagetora steps towards her. She relaxes, however, when the guard speaks. Her eyes scan him up and down like a snake slithering across the sand. As she takes in every detail, the edges of her generous mouth begins to creep up against gravity into a sly smile. She relaxes her pose and points to his weapon, "Foreign voe, do you know how to use that?"
Kagetora APP 11:40 PM Well, Kagetora at least received a civilized answer this time. The guard smirks for a moment. “It might be the only thing I know, but yes, I do.” He hmms, watching the spear she is holding. “And for what I have seen, you have a pretty impressive technique yourself, even if you seem to go through your weapons quickly.” Yes, that’s the third spear he has seen her using in just one day.
Risa APP 11:59 PM Risa leans into the spear, letting her body weight rest on it as she replies to the guard with her sly smile, "Kagetora..." she pauses, feeling the weight of that name in her mouth, "What else is there to know?" He is speaking her language now. "Perhaps you show me some of your techniques someday."
Kagetora APP 12:34 AM Kagetora shrugs, “Not much, to be honest.” His life is just dedicated to protecting the royal family, so fighting is really the only thing going on with him. “But we are supposed to keep the peace together, so maybe you can tell me what can be done here to keep everybody safe.”
Torgem 5:02 PM With Nadiya recommending a visit to the rear of the mansion to get protection from some stone architecture, Torgem nods in approval. "I like that idea." A smile spreads across his face, square teeth on show as he stands back up. And just like that? He begins to rumble on down the path to the pond and surrounds that the Gerudo described.
Taking in the scenery, the Death Mountain native breathes out a sigh of nostalgia as he rests against the stone. As Irina and Link clean the pond, Torgem watches. He certainly has no intentions of helping! But hey, gorons didn't like water. Right? Right. >__>
"I can keep guard, Hylian." He suggests to Link, voice deep in tone as it echoes from the back of his throat. As he adjusts his butt on the ground to get comfortable, he rubs his forehead in some thought. "I am to remain out here anyway, and you are likely to need as much rest as you can muster." He pauses, before looking to Link squarely.
"Are you one of these Sheikalians I have heard something about? You are quite good with that bow and arrow."
Link
- fireball: 6:06 PM
Link is appreciative of Torgem's offer. He nods to him and offers him a place next to him on a worn wooden bench. "I am neither Sheikah or Hylian. I grew up in the forest but I do not think I am Kokiri, either." He looks over Torgem curiously and asks, "What brought you down from Death Mountain?"
Spoof APP 10:45 PM A desperate cry can be heard from the pond area and it sounds like Irina's voice.
Link
- fireball: 11:32 PM
Link immediately gets up mid-conversation with Torgem and runs to the pond.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:36 PM
When Link arrives, he can see a soaked Irina sitting on the floor, almost curled into a ball and leaning against the wall of the mansion, crying desperately. Part of the pond where she was swimming is now a solid block of ice.
Link
- fireball: 11:48 PM
Link slides to Irina's side, looking up for a brief moment at the ice. He grabs her into his arms, not saying anything but making his presence known to her. The sensation of magic is heavy in the room.
Irina
- snowflake: 12:01 AM
As soon as Irina is touched by somebody, she squirms away desperately, shouting some words in her own language that Link cannot understand but are obviously saying to stay away from her.
Link
- fireball: 12:11 AM
Link lets her slip away. Something is very wrong but he is helplessly powerless. He creeps towards his friend but remains a painful distance. He whispers, "It's okay. We are here. I am here."
Irina
- snowflake: 12:24 AM
Irina hears the friendly voice and finally stops trying to get away. She doesn’t move for a few moments, still crying, then raises her head just enough to see who it is. Her wet red eyes watch her friend, looking less desperate but still shaking.
Link
- fireball: 12:28 AM
Link stops but remains near his friend. He watches her sadly. "Irina. You are safe now. What happened?"
Irina
- snowflake: 12:34 AM
Irina takes a few seconds to reply but finally does, her voice trembling. “It wasn't a dream.... that horrible man... he ki... killed..."
Link
- fireball: 12:45 AM
Link reaches out to Irina, "Killed what, Irina?"
Irina
- snowflake: 12:54 AM
Irina takes a breath, trying to calm down so that she can make some sense. "What I saw it my nightmares... It was not Hyrule, it was Termina. I saw..." she tries to explain the details the best she can, "Ganondorf in Clock Town, and I was seeing through somebody else's eyes. whoever I was... he... killed.. me..." Then shakes her head, "not me, but whoever I was... and turned them into... whatever that black thing is in Castle Town. He called it... Malice... And he said we can't get rid of it..."
Link
- fireball: 1:12 AM
Link sits back, taking in what Irina is saying. Visions of Clock Town fill his head... and then the slow groan of the Malice outside brings him back to Castle Town. He mutters, "We must go there and put and end to this."
Irina
- snowflake: 1:20 AM
Go there... That reminds Irina of something else. She is the one leaning forward now and touching his arm. "He knew you would go and was getting ready for you. Rome said the portal in the Spirit Temple lead to his castle, and he is waiting for you there... It's a trap. He will kill you, Link... You can't use the gate in the desert."
Link
- fireball: 12:43 PM
Link sits back, considering his options. He looks towards the temple. A strange light is emanating in its direction.
Torgem 4:55 PM "That's probably not a question I am comfortable answering." Torgem replies to Link when asked about why he's not on the Greatest Mountain Of All. He shifts a little in discomfort and scratches his cheek with hardy fingernails. "So what are you then?" He cannot help but ask Link the question when he denies being... well, everything! "You are certainly no goron, friend! Ha!" He bellows a small laugh, before blinking in surprise as Irina cries out.
While not as fast and agile as the Hero of Time, Torgem does manage to get to the pond not long after him. Looking down from his towering height, he cants his head in a direction. Especially as Irina details Termina and what's happening. "I am glad you are okay." He drawls lowly to Irina. "What will you do?" The goron asks Link, obviously clueless himself.
Irina
- snowflake: 10:28 PM
Irina is slowly calming herself, even though she is still shaking and hugging her knees. The goron's deep voice helps, and she nods to him with a soft "Thank you." When Torgem asks Link what he is planning to do, Irina watches Link again with a concerned expression.
Link
- fireball: 11:07 PM
Link reaches to Irina and rubs her shoulder. "Get your rest. We will have to move on tomorrow morning." He stands up and walks to the water's edge. He replies to the goron, "We are going to travel soon. We will need some strong warriors on our side."
Irina
- snowflake: 11:34 PM
Irina nods to the hero, touching his arm in appreciation as she gets up. It looks like he has made up his mind and, for once, he’s not trying to solve things alone. “Thank you, Link,” she replies weakly, “Good night.” This was directed towards both Torgem and Link, even though she’s too tired to look at them. Once she is up, she picks up her belongings and walks back to the building, looking just as weak as her voice. She’s definitely giving up on trying anything else tonight and will just get a room — hopefully getting some rest as well.
Link
- fireball: 12:27 AM
Link retires to a chair near the entrance of the mansion. He gazes out a window, keeping watch and contemplating the town amd the situation they have found themselves in.
Rome
- revali: 5:16 PM
When morning came, Rome rose up rather quickly. He had decided to get sleep once they had arrived because he was still a bit weak from coming to Hyrule. He felt a lot better this morning than he did the night before, but he wasn't quite at max capacity just yet. He walked back downstairs after getting dressed and saw the Hero sitting near the window. Rome wasn't quite sure if the Hero was asleep by now, but he decided to come up nearby. "Hey there." He said as he came up beside Link's chair.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:50 PM
After a long night, Irina also joins Rome and Link. She might not have slept as much as she needed, but she does look like she got some rest.
With a bow and spear on her back and her bag across her shoulders, Irina looks ready for whatever Link is planning. “Good morning,” she says to the two, not smiling as usual but calm and focused.
Crow
- bird: 1:01 PM
Crow stumbles down stairs half asleep. He looks towards Link and Rome still blinking the small amount of sleep from his eyes, "Hey, so did anyone else have trouble sleeping? I don't know if it was the stress or the bed itself."
Rome
- revali: 4:56 PM
Rome turned to face Crow and shrugged. "I did too, honestly, though, I believe mine was stress. I slept fairly well though." He stated in reply. He smiled and waved at Irina, though he was a bit late. "Everything alright? You seem exhausted."
Irina
- snowflake: 5:08 PM
Irina had seen Crow talking to Marie the day before but realizes they haven't been introduced yet. "My name is Irina, pleased to meet you," she says with a concerned but honest smile. As Rome addresses her, she turns to him, "i am fine, thank you. It's been a long night, but I am glad we know where to go."
Link
- fireball: 11:31 PM
Link had no trouble. He had dozed off on the bench and was asleep upright on the hard wooden bench. He slowly opens his eyes, not wanting to wake up yet. He listens to the conversation, half awake.
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 11:39 PM
Marie yawned loudly when she woke from her deep slumber. Raising up out of bed she smiles lightly before hopping out. Not even bothered to dress into something other than her night gown, she springs out the door and slides down the stairway's rail, cartwheeling to her feet next to Irina and bouncing a bit. "Morning!" She shouted, obviously full of energy.
Rome
- revali: 11:45 PM
"When are we headed out, anyway?" He asked, rubbing the back of his head before the young lady practically parkours down to the gathering group. "Well, good morning to you too." He said, trying to match her energy but failing before looking over at Crow. "Looks like she slept well."
Irina
- snowflake: 12:27 AM
Irina smiles to Marie. “Good morning. It’s great to know that one of us slept well.” She hmms at Rome’s question, “It’s hard to tell. It all depends on our mighty hero here,” she says as she chuckles and grabs a strand of blond hair, lifting it so that they can actually see Link’s sleepy face.
Link
- fireball: 12:28 AM
Link rubs his now revealed face, not looking fully awake but he gets up regardless. He hears Rome's question bit he remains silent for several moments before the question registers. He replies, "We should leave immediately." He steps outside to survey the damage castle town has suffered.
Risa APP 12:38 AM Risa appears with a tray of Gerudo-style coffee... thick and strong, like an oily sludge that might cause cardiovascular issues. It is accompanied with a serving of freshly roasted scorpions. Breakfast of champions. Legendary champions. Dead champions.

Irina
- snowflake: 12:28 PM
Irina follows Link towards the town, approaching the temple area and watching the gate. Her block of ice is still there, slowing the flow of that Malice substance.
"Link," Irina calls as she turns to the hero, "I am assuming you are planning on using this portal to get to Termina?"
Crow
- bird: 2:48 PM
Crow follows Irina and Link out side grabbing one of the scorpions on his way out. "Hey guys, you should try these scorpions." He says chewing through one, "They taste pretty good."

Torgem 5:20 PM As Link and others step outside to survey the damage down to Castle Town, the goron steps from around the side of the house. Having been outside for the night 'keeping watch', he grumbles a deeply greeting. "There has been no activity all night. Even the birds were making some noises in the early morning." The being made of rock rotates his chunky shoulders, a few loud crackles and pops echoing out from the crunches.
"Termina is a place I have not heard of." He offers helplessly, and most unhelpfully. "But if you need aid getting to where you need to go, I can shift some debris and rock to clear a path for you."
Link
- fireball: 11:20 PM
Link is still groggy. He surveys the town. The dark substance has definitely spread, but things seem less bleak in the morning sun. He turns to his party and says, "We will need to enter the portal at the temple of time." He thinks he sees the scorpion wriggle in Crow's mouth before he bites it but goes on, addressing Torgem, "This will be a very dangerous trip. There is even a chance that we will encounter the Malice immediately upon emtering the portal. You are free to join us if you want." He puts a hand on the goron's shoulder and then addresses all, "You all are."
Irina
- snowflake: 12:25 AM
Irina watches the scorpion move in Crow's mouth. It takes her a moment to realize that that's not normal -- it's early in the morning after a long night. Before she is able to say anything, the scorpion has disappeared in Crow's mouth and Link addresses everybody. She turns to the hero and nods to him, ready to go anytime. (edited)
Rome
- revali: 9:36 AM
Rome had actually taken one of the scorpions himself, he was hungry and was kinda curious as to what they tasted like. When slurped past the exoskeleton, they actually slid down with the texture of shrimp but a similar taste to that of coocoo.... "Interesting." He spoke, then looking up as the Hero addresses everyone. "I want to help save my people as well as Hyrule. I will be going as well."
Revali APP 9:45 AM surveyed the area the night before and was disappointed to find that the only source of this goo was from the Temple of Time. What he did notice, however, was slight shifts of light from the Temple, which indicated the previously discovered portal, as well as movement from the other side. That did not seem like a good sign, but it wasn't until daylight that he swooped down in front of the group. "So, I was unable to find anything other than what appeared to be movement from the other side of the portal in the Temple. Nothing else seemed any different." He reported, his brow furrowed a bit in suspision. What exactly was going on?
Crow
- bird: 9:54 AM
Crow looks up to Torgem, "Well if this fella is going, I am too." Then notices Rome chewing through the scorpion, "Well, what did you think of the scorpion?"
Rome
- revali: 10:01 AM
"It's definately interesting." He stated with a light chuckle before stuffing his hands in his pockets. When he notices the bird man drop in, however, his stature changed. Something felt off to Rome, but he wasn't sure what. It made him feel uneasy.
Crow
- bird: 10:08 AM
"It's got that weird soft but crunchy taste...." Crow began to trail off noticing the posture change in Rome. Crow lowered his voice, trying not to offend anyone, he had quite a track record of that, "What, never see a Rito before?"
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 10:18 AM
Marie had went back upstairs to change into her clothes and gather her weapon of choice, so she was a bit late coming out. When she came down, she was wearing a blue shirt with a black half-jacket, soft and flexible blue pants with a pair of black combat boots. She had her spear in pole form and strapped to her waist and one of Risa's coffees in her hand as she walked up to the group, tilting her head slightly. "Guessing we are heading out soon?" She says before taking a sip of the coffee and licking her lips.
Rome
- revali: 10:21 AM
Rome shrugs before pulling his hands from his pockets and stretching them out above him. "Once, earlier we seen the same Rito." He stated with a slight frown, then once Marie had appeared with the coffee, he grimiced as she took a sip. How could she drink that stuff?
Crow
- bird: 10:26 AM
Crow walked over to Marie seeing her sipping the coffee. "Is that stuff good? It just kinda looks deadly. The scorpions were pretty good though."
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 10:30 AM
"It'll wake you up, but I'm not sure if you will like it yourself..." She giggles lightly as she takes another small sip before walking to stand next to Irina. "How's it going?" She asks, trying to catch up on events since she had walked off to change earlier.
Crow
- bird: 10:31 AM
Crow stepped back over to Rome. "Do you know that Marie girl? She seems a bit giggly."
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 10:37 AM
Rome shrugs. "Not at all. I know hardly anyone here. I'm from Termina." He states with a slight frown, crossing his arms over his chest and blowing his hair from his eyes.
Mipha APP 11:01 AM Mipha steps outside of the house, spear in hand and clad in armour. "I am ready." She states as she joins the party, coming in on the other side of Irina, but then backstepping to slightly hide behind Irina when she sees Link. She got so nervous around him, and she wasn't sure why.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:17 AM
Irina watches as the group gathers, glad to know they are willing to help, and answers to Marie. "We are about to go to Termina... Or to try to, anyways. Hopefully that portal will work as it used to many years ago."
When she sees Mipha, Irina moves aside slightly, not wanting to show her back to her or block her view --but exposing her to Link at the same time. "Good morning, Your Majesty," she says with small but respectful smile.
Crow
- bird: 11:19 AM
Crow sees Mipha, his face slightly lighting up as he walks over. "Hey- Or greetings, or...Hi Your Majesty. Again, I apologize for yesterday." He stutters out looking at his feet.
Mipha APP 11:20 AM "Gah!" She squeeks, moving to hide behind Irina again before mumbling, "Morning..." to Irina. When Crow speaks to her, she turns her attention to him quietly. "Oh, it's quite alright." She smiles to him lightly before tilting her head. "No need to look down."
Irina
- snowflake: 11:27 AM
Irina blinks a bit as she realizes she is used as a cover and doesn't move away this time. She doesn't know why but figures the queen has her reasons. Looking at Revali, she notices his question has not been answered yet. "Thank you for helping. Hopefully you got some rest as well." After looking towards the gate, she replies. "That gate leads to Termina, or at least it used to. We are going to try to get there and see what we can do to help."
Crow
- bird: 11:45 AM
Crow looks up at Mipha, "I don't exactly talk to royalty a lot."
Link
- fireball: 11:47 PM
Link leads the group to the portal. He replies to Marie as they make their way through an eerily silent castle town, "Yes, that is the plan."
When they reach the ruins of the temple Link stops to survey the group. It's small but diverse. He notices Mipha ducking in the background and steps over before her, kneeling but directly addressing her, "Your Majesty, I cannot guarantee what we will find on the other side of the portal but I can assure you that it will be dangerous. Are you sure you want to join us?"
Torgem 11:57 PM While he journeys with the group to the Temple of Time, helping clear out any debris that the malice may have caused with mighty feats of strength with his arms, even lifting a wall across the way at one point, the goron stops his journey there.
"I am not going." Torgem reveals to Crow and Link, though it's not a clear objection in anger or fright. It's a statement made rather calmly. "But I appreciate your invitation. I would be a burden on you during a quest like this. I fear I do not have the mental fortitude. I do not have the skills. I do not have the courage." For those with a keen ear, that could likely hear the waver in his voice. He's lying about something there, choosing to do so rather than truthfully reveal why he is not going through the portal and into danger. "All I am really suited for at the moment is to sell my pickled rocks." With a shift in his weight, the native from Death Mountain waves goodbye with his stoney arm. "I wish you and your group well, Link. May you all travel safely." His deep voice rumbles all friendly-like.
His purple eyes swivel to those gathered. "Take care everyone." And with that? He turns and slowly starts his walk away back to Castle Town, the ground THUMPing heavily as he makes every step.
Kagetora APP 12:05 AM After thanking Risa and the rest of the Gerudo for their help and hospitality, Kagetora follows the group to the portal. He waits silently for Link’s orders.
Sheik APP 8:54 AM Arms crossed, Sheik stands in silence by the portal, observing the assembly in front of the magical entrance despite having simply not been there moments before. Sheik's arrival is accompanied by neither visual or audible cue, yet there Sheik stands, all the same. No words are exchanged, nor greetings offered save for the warrior's silent, firm gaze at Link as he addresses Mipha.
Mipha 10:32 AM Mipha wasn't expecting the Hero to do do this once they got there. She was actually rather taken aback, taking a couple of steps back and almost falling with a squeak. Then, she takes a deep breath and nods. "I will be going. My healing may be needed as well as my spearplay. Besides, I may be able to convince the other Zora to join us." She states softly, nodding to the Hero lightly, the blush on her face likely not seen through her helm.
Irina
- snowflake: 10:51 AM
Irina watches Torgem as he leaves, not judging his decision. For somebody who does not know him, it's hard to even suspect that he is lying. "Thank you for helping us get here," she says loud enough so that he can hear her. "Please stay safe," she adds. After looking back at the group, she listens to the queen but realizes that Sheik is there and blinks brightly, not knowing where he came from or whether he is friend or foe.
Sheik APP 11:04 AM Sheik's intense gaze flicks briefly to Irina, a sharp look offering little more than the fact her glance was noted, before snapping back to Link. Sheik's posture does not change in the slightest, appearing both relaxed and taut as a bowstring.
Crow
- bird: 11:07 AM
"Man," Crow says disappointed, "I was hoping Torgem was coming along." Crows glances over to Sheik. "Oh, hello."
Adrian APP 11:19 AM "Ironic you should have such a concern, Milady Mipha. You're about to receive the company of a Zora you might have preferred to keep distant." A somewhat haggard-looking Zora bearing an ornate fencing saber on a white sword-belt strides up. "Adrian of the House of Dukei, exile from Zora's Domain, for those who require the introduction. I am acquianted with Miss Irina, and of course I cannot fail to recognize the princess of what was once my people, regardless of whether she happens to recall me at all." Adrian folds his arms. "I cannot say whether I shall follow any orders you might choose to direct at me, but as you are engaging in a serious foray against Dragmire, I shall take advantage of the occasion, and I believe you will find my blade generally pointed toward your enemies."
Sheik APP 11:21 AM Sheik quite readily ignores Crow, not even sparing the man a glance. For all the world, he seems intently focused on Link, though makes no move to approach or address him.
Irina
- snowflake: 12:24 PM
Irina nods her head to Sheik, acknowledging him when their eyes meet. She does not recognize Adrian at first, but when he mentions he knows her, she watches him closely.
"Adrian..." she says, confused, "You used to visit the Wolfos often and helped me fight some Tektites at the lake, many years ago. But you look very different from what I remember, and you certainly had not been exiled from Zora's Domain back then."
Fallon
- fireball: 12:44 PM
Fallon soon arrives on the scene having carefully navigated the current state of Castle Town carefully. So, this is what caused all of the evacuations. She couldn't even begin to determine what the substance is, but it does emanate a certain darkness from it.
"Lady Nabooru sent me ahead on intuition. It seems she wasn't wrong. I'm here to be involved with the group," she addressed them upon approach. Looking cautiously at the temple remains, she continued, "Just let me know of what you seek to do and I will follow."
Kagetora APP 12:54 PM Kagetora approaches Fallon and bows his head to her. "Thank you for coming. We were about to head to Termina through that gate." It seems that, just like it happened at the fortress, the group is bigger than expected and ready to go.
Fallon
- fireball: 5:17 PM
"Understood. I don't know who all intends to go, but as I understand it, the guards were only here to provide support here in Castle Town," Fallon eyed the guards to which the captain confirmed with a nod of her head. "They will be returning to the Fortress. Whoever is left afterward, I'm assuming, is the Termina party?" She could only guess it was those familiar faces that she had come to know that were going and those not so familiar who remained here.
Kagetora APP 10:24 PM Kagetora nods to Fallon. "That is correct. If those going back to the Fortress could inform both Lady Nabooru and my Captain of the current situation, I would really appreciate it." After a bow to Fallon, his attention moves back to Link.
Link
- fireball: 11:10 PM
Link rises before Mipha but keeps his head bowed. "I appreciate your willingness, Your Majesty, and will swear to protect you; however, I will also beg your understanding that I will not follow royal protocol and address you as such once we are in Termina." He turns to the group, suddenly surprised to see Sheik, a subtle smile flashes on his face for an instant, but he continues in a serious tone, "We are all to remain as inconspicuous as possible. They cannot know we are Hylians otherwise the safety of everybody will be jeopardized."
His attention turns to Adrian, a face that seems vaguely familiar, but everything is moving so fast right now he isn't sure. "I think you have the right attitude. We will need to split up, not act like we know each other, and reconvene once we learn what is going on, and what a possible solution might be. This portal likely leads to Clock Town in Termina. There is an abandoned space inside the clock; it's very likely the portal leads there. We can use that space as the place to gather once we know more but we have to be as secretive as possible. I recommend only going there at night." (edited)
Link
- fireball: 11:32 PM
Link addresses the group, "All who wish to join, step forward into the portal." He turns and jumps inside, disappearing instantly.
Irina
- snowflake: 11:37 PM
Irina listens to Link's instructions and just nods, approaching the portal. After he is gone, she grabs hold of her spear and takes a deep breath, then jumps inside as well.
Adrian APP 11:52 PM "You may recall I mentioned having trouble with my memory at that time, Miss Irina," Adrian responds. "I have since recovered, and the deeds of my past proved a shocking contrast with the man I thought myself while oblivious. Suffice it to say I owe a debt of penance to the populace of Termina. Perishing while fighting to liberate them is as noble an end as I could hope for."
Then Link gives his spiel, and it looks like it's time to depart. "Let the currents of fate do with me as they will, then," Adrian mutters, stepping through into the far-distant land.
Rome
- revali: 1:25 AM
It didn't take much to convince Rome, as he had already convinced himself that he was going. He didn't say anything, didn't make any dramatic speech, nothing. He just simply walked through, holding his breath.
Mipha 1:31 AM Mipha was a bit confused by the appearance of Adrian. He felt familiar, but she wasn't quite sure who he was. Regardless of the matter, everything was hard to focus on WITH THE HERO SOOOO CLOSE... She was nervous, but actually felt a little relieved to hear that she wasn't to be addressed as royalty while within Termina. This thought was somewhat relaxing to her, and when the Hero and all those who went in the portal before her had left, she fully made her decision to walk her way through as well.
Marie
- pikachu_dancing: 1:34 AM
Marie, also not needing to speak to male a decision, quickly follows those in front, quickly coming in tow and bouncing her way through the portal.
Revali 1:38 AM "I will not be going." Revali stated. "As much as I would love to help, I feel I am more needed here. Besides, I'm sure I'll stand out just a bit too much in there, last I heard, there are no Rito in Termina." He put simply, crossing his wings. "However, this does not mean I shall not be useful. I shall do what I can on this end to provide as much assistance as possible."
Kagetora APP 4:51 PM Kagetora nods to Revali. “Good luck.” And with that, he jumps through the portal, following the group.
Fallon
- fireball: 4:59 PM
Fallon made a few final confirmations with the guards, with instructions to send back to have her daughter looked after carefully whenever she was around the Fortress in particular. She knows she'd be safe with her father, but some extra help wouldn't hurt while she's away. She isn't certain when she'll be returning anyway. Once the preparations had been made, she advanced through the portal.
Sheik APP 10:30 AM Waiting til the last, Sheik follows with nary a word. Silent as shadow, the mysterious warrior slips through the portal, immediately fading into the background upon his arrival elsewhere, never straying too far from Link.
Revali 12:58 AM Once everyone had left, Revali let out a deep sigh. He really wanted to go. He had a good feeling he could have easily been in the spotlight the entire time. Nevertheless, he had a show to run. He quickly burst up into the air, heading toward the Forest of the Kokiri.
Risa APP 11:41 PM A young Gerudo watches the strange bird burst up into the air. She is carrying a tray full of coffee and scorpions... and an annoyed attitude. "Hey cucco voe, you forgot your coffee!" She continues towards where she thought she heard voices and wonders aloud, "Where did everybody go? Did I make all of this for nothing? Ungrateful they are." She throws the tray into the portal and watches it disappear. She stares for a second and then jumps, shocked and even more annoyed. She looks around, dumbfounded and embarrassed, but then runs and jumps into it as well in search of her missing tray.
